"How long are we going to be stationed in this hell hole in the middle of no where?" A woman with brown hair, blue eyes and a Diamond kingdom mage cloak asked her friends.

"all I know is we are going to be here until all of the prisoners have their magic sucked out." A tall man with a masculine build said.

"Hehehe these stupid lowlifes should be grateful we are using their magic for the good of the Diamond kingdom!" A tall thin man that some would call a twig blurted out.

"Will you three shut up I'm trying to actually do my job here!" A gravely voice said from in front of the three.

"""Yes Captain!"""

"Now I'm going to answer your questions, We are going to be stationed here until we are told to leave. All we need to do is be on our best behavior and we will be stationed somewhere else." The captain said.

"I understand Captain but why would they make those prisoners work instead of just zapping out their magic and throwing them away?" The female asked.

"That I do not know, but if I had to guess it's to get the most out of them before they become useless." The Captain chuckled.

The twig was about to start talking about how these lowlifes should just die but couldn't as he felt himself losing control over his body and his eyes becoming heavy.

*THUD*

Looking at the sound, The trio saw their comrade face down in the dirt with a kunai logged in the back of his skull.

"AGGH-" "MMPHF" the woman of the group tried to scream but was cut off when a figure flashed in front of her and a kunai sliced her throat open.

*Splash*

Giving the masked man a hellish look the blood from the woman's wound splashed along his white and green mask painting it red.

"Water Magic: Water Bullets" the captain yelled as his grimoire flew open and water started converging around him in the shape of small bullet sized droplets.

"Go!"

Shooting the bullets at the masked man the captain was all but horrified when the masked man managed to avoid every single attack.

"Attack you idiot I need help!" The captain commanded the muscular man to his right.

"Sir!"

"Stone Creation Magic: Executioners Axe!" When the man chanted his spell a 2 meter tall stone axe ascended from the ground beside him.

Gripping the axe the man charged towards his masked attacker.

"AHHHHH."

*swing*

*BOOM*

Giving out a yell he swung the axe downwards towards the masked mans head hoping to split the man in half, but the blade of his axe was only met with the earthy ground beneath his feat as he saw the man move out of the way and raise the tanto in his hand.

*swing~*

*Thud*

With a quick swing the mans head was sent rolling back towards the captain.

Looking towards his fallen squad and the head of his second in command the terrified captain turned to run away but as he turned he was met with a sight he wouldn't wish on anyone else.

He saw three more men dressed like his attacker covered in blood slowly walking towards him away from the fallen bodies of the other guard mages.

His poor mind could wrap around all of the events and he passed out.

"Hmm, He passed out? That's no fun!" Rhya said

"I agree but for being so called guard mages they really are weak." Tori said

"I agree, but let's hope no other guards inside heard the commotion." Fū said.

"They shouldn't have because we took them out relatively quickly and quietly if you don't count the second to last dude." Torune agreed while cleaning the blood off his blade

"Let's move inside now and don't kill any civilians only the guards!" Fū ordered and they disappeared.

—Inside—

Inside of the compound was a blood bath on a whole other level. the civilians watched it play out like a movie, The men whom enslaved them being cut down like they pigs by 4 masked men. They didn't know wether they should cheer or cry because of the unknown treatment that awaits them.

"AGHHH"

"PLEASE HELP HE IS OVER HE-"

"FIRE MA-"

The panicked guards started sending spells left and right not caring about one another, helping out the group in their actions of killing every single guard.

Once the final guard had fallen the men regrouped looking at the destruction they caused, burnt buildings, bodies strewn throughout the streets, limbs laying on the sidewalks. Any untrained individual would have lost anything they had eaten in the past day just from the smell.

With that out of their way the group eyed the biggest building in the village.

The group walked towards the compound and forcibly entered meeting a small group of remaining guards inside.

"They are here, Kill them!" A guard ordered

"Fire Magic: Flaming Hounds!"

"Sand Magic: Sand Spikes!"

"Water Creation Magic: Water Cannon!"

"Vine Magic: Restricting Vines!"

"Mud Magic: Exploding Mud Golems!"

The group of remaining guards in a last ditch effort mustered up their strongest spells and fired them at the former Root Captains.

The first attack to get to them was the vines that ripped through the grounds and tangled around their legs.

Followed by a head sized ball made of water that exploded in front of the group shooting out smaller water bullets. Making a cloud of mist appear between the two groups.

*BARK* *BARK*

Two snarling flaming hounds ripped through the mist and charged at anyone they could find.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

After the successful attack of the hounds the last two men released their spells.

Two 3 meter tall golems made of mud sprinted towards the location commanded from their creators, being followed by two pike-like Spears of sand.

*BOOM*

Looking at the smoking area that the invaders used to be the group of guards gave off relieved smiles and some started laughing thinking they won.

"w-we did it." Said a blonde haired guard.

"You sure did~" came a sickly sweet voice from the smoke.

The guards looked in horror as the smoke cleared showing four different sights one individual turned into snakes (Rhya) two others turned into smoke(Tori and Fū) and the last turned into a swarm of bugs (Torune)

"Now let's finish this shall we~?" That mocking voice came from behind them.

*Slash*

"AGHHHH-"

"Whew~ that was a lot of people don't ya think?" Rhya joked

"A decent amount for such a small place." Fū added on

"Now let's go deeper into the maze~"

After 10 minutes of walking around in the building the group stumbled into a room that had held a small chair in the middle that had a few contraptions connected to it like a hose and a few needles, and in the chair lay the body of a women who had long since shriveled up.

"Now what's going on here?" Tori asked looking at the dried up body's one the corner of the room.
