Five conditions

"I have five conditions, "Ivy said without breaking eye contact. 

"What makes you believe that we will agree with your condition?" Knox raised his brow at the girl. She was young but a nuisance. A nuisance he would like to get rid of at this time. Still, he couldn't help but think if that was how teenagers these days behave. Then again, the thoughts of his twenty-something years old sister came to his head and he realized that some people were still slower. 

"You will agree to my condition or I will tell Ethan Westbury that you are dating his dear cousin, "Ivy shrugged. When she was looking for dirty laundry to threaten Ethan, she came across the bloody history between Westbury and the Jade family. Not many people knew what Ethan's cousin looked like, but she did. After all, she was Ivy Fox and Ivy Fox was a self-proclaimed legend in this field. 

Selene's eyes widened at the threat. "That's evil. We love each other."

Selene was someone who spoke very softly. Even if one was standing next to her, they couldn't always hear her. But at this moment, she was horrified by the way the young girl behaved. She didn't have the heart to call such a beautiful and young girl mean but… It was so complicated for her. 

Of course, Knox knew what was going on in his girlfriend's head. This was the reason why he instantly fell for her. Sometimes, he wished that his girlfriend was a little hard on people. 

"But you are too scared to admit it in the open, "Ivy replied without feeling an ounce of regret. "Why is that?"

No one would be able to threaten them if they accepted that they were in love. One thing she learned from her sister was that if the man was not willing to accept in front of the world that he loved her, it meant he was a douchebag and the girl should run as soon as possible. If Oliver loved Esmeralda, wouldn't he show off the gorgeous woman in front of the entire world? Clearly, he was a douchebag and he took advantage of her sister's love. 

"You don't fear gaining an enemy out of Jade or a Westbury?" Knox questioned her. Any sane person wouldn't dare to mess up with Jade or the Westbury family. But this girl didn't even have an ounce of fear. 

"My sister instructed me to negotiate well, "Ivy said. She was following her elder sister's orders, nothing else. If she didn't negotiate well, what face would she show to her sister? 

"Miss Fox, you will regret it, "Knox warned her but Ivy just shrugged. What was there to regret anyway? 

"I take a long time to finish the food. You guys can catch up, I won't snitch on you as long as you agree to my conditions, "Ivy told the couple. Look, she had her kind sides too. It's just that sometimes…fine, most of the time, her evil side came out first. But her kind side does come out. It's just that people are not patient enough to be that. 

Selene didn't know if she should be grateful at this moment or what. The girl was very dangerous. Maybe, Violet was right at one point but she couldn't do anything here. She had been threatened by such a young girl! 

When the couple were done catching up after half an hour, Ivy placed a paper in front of them and said, "My conditions."

Little Miss Fox had not learnt to waste time. She was decisive and swift. Something, she learnt from her big sister who was none of the above things. 

Selene took the paper and furrowed her brow when she read the conditions. "First, You want a separate office where no one can enter without your permission?"

Ivy nodded her head. She had so much sleep to catch up. She hated when someone disturb her while she was asleep. 

"You want a refrigerator in your office always stocked up?" Selene was too stunned to say the words casually. 

"And you want flexible working hours?" Selena read the third condition. 

Ivy nodded again. She had classes to attend to. If she didn't diligently attend classes, her mother would drag her back to Italy. And her freedom would be snatched. She didn't want that. She came here to live off her super famous and rich sister.
