The envelope

He walked all the way to school, repeating his plan over and over in his head. He wish it all didn't have to be this way. But it is what it is. He wanted to make it so that it could never happen again, or so he could die peacefully. So that the punishment could stop, he thought. It doesn't matter, why do they do this to me?

He enters the school gate and waves at the school guard. Mr. Graham has no clue what is about to go down today. He looks over at him as if to say, how can he possibly do this? But he also seems to understand that something is wrong, that this is not the way that he wants it to turn out. So he motions for him to come over.

To Zurich he was always kind and tried to cheer him up on days that Zurich wanted to give up.

"Hey dude, you look super stressed out today. Did your parents find out about you smoking behind the girls bathroom again?" he laughed and patted Zurich on the shoulder.

Zurich almost fell over his own feet. He is so dizzy and freaking out in his whole system that everything fill a bit vague at the moment.

"Woah dude, you smell bad! Didn't your parents teach you anything?" he said pinching his nose.

Zurich just shrugged his shoulders. He knew the guard didn't know his parents passed away and that he is currently living with his aunt.

"Well, have a good day little man" the guard said with a genuine smile.

He rushes to the boys bathroom. He opens the envelope and start writing frantically. He starts crying. He realized that he's just read the death sentence in the space of a single sentence - a sentence that might have been a thousand words.

He wraps it up and leaves it in his jean pocket.
