Guts) I'm heading out...the village is in danger...

Rem) Danger?

He wanted to head out towards the village but Ram also got out.

Ram) What are you doing?

Guts) If we won't hurry something really bad might happen to village....

Ram for a split second looked towards Guts and just smiled.

Ram) Rem...Go with Guts he might need help.

Rem) Yes....sister...

They both exited as Guts stoped midway.

Guts) It's been a long time.... Finally....Rem try to follow up with me!

Rem) Eh? What do you—!?

Suddenly Guts rushed with incredible speed....this speed was inhuman. He was barely even seen Rem also was following up...well barely following up but it was obvious that Rem also wasn't simple maid.

Guts and Rem already reached village as suddenly people of village all greeted Guts with worried faces.

Head of Village) Guts-sama! Thanks to god you are here!

Guts) Tell me the current situation.

He made them follow towards the entrance towards the forest as pointed towards unknown crystals tied on trees. And it seemed that one of them was cracked....

Rem) Barrier crystal...it deflects Magical beasts who are trying to approach the area if one is broken than it means Beasts can enter the village.

Head of village) Dear Guts-sama.....Rem-sama.... Please....our kids disappeared....save them... please....

Guts) *sigh* Rest for a while old man.....I will bring all brats back.

Head of village)*sob* Yes!...I will never forget this...

Guts) Save your congrats till we will save them

Rem) Let's go Guts-kun.

Suddenly in Rem's hands appeared a still ball with thorns connected with chain

Guts) The fuck? From where you got it?

Rem) Spell which makes me hide it.

Without any ado they entered the area as suddenly Guts felt several presences around....

Guts) Prepare!

Rem) Yes!

Tenth of beasts got out of bushes and Rushed straight towards them but Guts pierced first one into two while Rem with her weapon thorned apart beasts face. Speaking of beasts they were huge dogs...kinda looking like dobermans with red eyes and claws sharp as sword.

Guts) Hooh! I missed this feeling!

The war beast Guts finally had a chance to go wild. He send his bows from prosthetic arm while with a swift move cut off the head of beast on Rem's back while she sended her steel ball towards beast in far away and moved it leftwards dealing with great ton of them at once.

Guts)*whistle* Not bad.

Rem) Can say same for you.

She kicked Gut's feet as made him fly upwards while upon lending he using his huge sword made a giant hit wave which breaking the ground killed every beast surrounding them.

Guts) Strange...

Rem) Hm? What do you mean?

Guts) They all are following only me even tho difference in power....

Rem) It's cuz of your smell.

Guts) Huh? Do I smell bad?

Rem) No.... it's witch's scent plastered on you...miasms of whitch are soaked into you. Magical beasts are beasts made by witch mana and it's obvious that they are following you.

Suddenly Guts remembered Jumbo's words....

Guts) Hey Rem...listen carefully.

Rem) M?

Guts) I can come back via my dea—

Suddenly time stopped as well as Guts's motions....dark room filled with purple fog and suddenly giant arm made of dark energy entering Guts's heart and gently squeezing it.

Everything became normal.

Rem) Huh!? Whitch's scent became stronger!

Guts) Khuuuu... that's even worse than being soaked on Apostles blood....god dammit.

Suddenly the number of beats chasing them increased while Guts's immediately stopped while with swung of his sword towards the left side had sliced through hundreds of beasts splitting them into two.

Guts)*huff* Fucking shit dogs....

Rem) N...No....way such an incredible strength.

Guts) Hah...I fought demons more scarier than this....

Rem) Demons you say....

Guts) Hm? Is something wrong?

Rem shook her head and smiled with her cutest smile towards Guts.

Guts) What's with sudden question....well I do not hate them cuz I know that there are creatures worser than them and when you will talk about future they would laugh....

She started to glow as suddenly unknown horn started to form on Rem's forehead.

Rem) Time to slay them all!
