Trying out New Ideas
It's been two years since I started this routine, and now I'm officially four years old. My name is Sai-sai now, which I find amusing because of its repetitive syllables. Despite that, I actually like it. During these past two years, I've grown close to my sister Mei Mei and also to Principal Yaga. He used to look after me whenever my sister was on special missions.
Over the past few years, I've been exploring new things about my technique. One particular incident stands out when I was just 3 years old. My sis Mei Mei and I were on a mission to get rid of a grade 3 curse. Let me tell you, it was a piece of cake, but boy, was it a crazy process! The curse was massive, and it was taking forever to finish it off.
Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to wave at Mei Mei's bird and say "touch, touch." To my surprise, she allowed one of her birds to come closer to me. That's when I had a brilliant idea to use my Mahitos Polymorphic Soul Isomer technique. I gave it a shot, and guess what? The bird transformed into a bigger, fleshier version of itself. It was a bit unstable, but it held up for a few minutes.
Mei Mei was absolutely shocked when she saw this transformation. She could feel the unstable energy radiating from the bird. Without wasting a second, she ordered it to blast off towards the curse. And let me tell you, it was a massive explosion! It felt like a tank firing off. Mei Mei couldn't believe her eyes. She was so surprised that she asked me to use my technique on all of her birds.
One by one, the birds transformed into various monsters and blasted off towards the curse. It was incredible! Within minutes, the curse was completely wiped out. It was such a fun mission for both Mei Mei and me. She finally understood the power and potential of my technique.
While I was experimenting with Mei Mei's technique, I managed to control small birds, which surprised her when she saw it. She wanted to ask more questions, but she knew I couldn't provide answers just yet. Nonetheless, she was excited for me.
I decided to take it a step further and incorporate the Polymorphic Soul Isomer technique to add souls to the black bird manipulation technique. This resulted in the creation of formidable birds, reminiscent of Croviknight from Pokemon. These birds were not only more durable, but also more powerful than Mahito's creations. The curse energy inside them was controllable, making them easier to handle. By combining these two techniques, I successfully created powerful Croviknights that resembled grade 1 curse spirits. Although I could explore more options, my control over them is not yet sufficient.
So now that I'm four years old, I've already started speaking and can easily communicate with Mei Mei. She thinks I'm a genius, but I won't correct her.
"Sis, should we go to the park? I'm bored sitting here all day."
"Huh, sure! I don't have any plans right now, so yeah, let's go. Let me pack our lunch."
Once everything was packed, we headed towards the outskirts of the city. There was a small place surrounded by sakura trees, quite desolate and far away from the main city. This was Mei Mei's spot, where she used to come in her free time. While Mei Mei was unpacking, I wanted to try a technique of hanami called flower field. When I tried it, the place around us transformed into a beautiful flower field, filling the air with a sweet scent and calming our spirits. Mei Mei was surprised to see this.
"What is this, Sai? Is it a new technique of yours?"
"Yes, kind of. I wanted to try it outside, so I asked you to take me to a park."
"But what exactly is this technique? Even though I've seen many techniques, I still couldn't figure it out."
"Well, I have three curse techniques. The first one is called 'copy,' where I can replicate others' innate techniques. Right now, I've copied yours. The second one is 'idle transfiguration,' which allows me to transform souls. And the third one is 'Disaster plants,' where I can create and control nature's plants."
Mei Mei was quite shocked upon hearing this. She didn't know what to say. I decided to be open with her since she's my only family, and I don't want to hide anything from her, at least for now. After all, she'll eventually figure things out.
"Wow, those are quite a lot of abilities. It seems like your abilities can enhance mine. I'm looking forward to our missions together then."
"I found her optimistic attitude quite amusing, but I was also excited for our upcoming missions together."
"Hey, hold on a sec, sis. I want to try something."
With that, I attempted once again to infuse souls into these flowers and transform them into tiny fairies. I added just a small amount of souls and combined them with the natural energy generated by the hanamis technique. In the manga, hanabi doesn't possess this powerful technique, but mine has been enhanced thanks to the petals of the groot that I consumed earlier. This allowed me to tap into nature energy, which is completely different from cursed energy and shares some similarities with reverse curse energy.
As these little fairies came to life, they emitted a strong, sweet fragrance that had a calming effect on our minds, making us feel drowsy. I made them resemble lilymon from digimon, which only added to their adorable appearance.
Their levels are amazing, comparable to grade 3 curse spirits, and they look incredibly cute compared to any other curse spirits. How did you manage to achieve this?
Well, I combined my two abilities and created them. These little creatures can perform a variety of attacks based on the flower I use to create them. They range from emitting calming effects to creating illusions and even poisoning targets. However, they are currently limited to grade 3 level. I believe I can enhance their power further, but the delicate nature of the flower body prevents me from adding more energy and souls inside.
With these techniques, you will become an incredibly versatile and powerful sorcerer. Now, let's enjoy our lunch and don't forget to save a few of these adorable ones for me later. I'll figure out a way to keep them with me.
After finishing our meal, we made our way back to the apartment.
