Chapter 85:a truth for a truth

"-where have you been your majesty?" Ayana asked Kieran.

"-offering help.

-to whom…" she was speechless once Mal walked out holding her dress to not trip.

Eyes opened wide; silence filled the room. Speechless at the elegant warrior.

She saw everyone staring at her stupefied feeling anxious.

"-you can just tell me I look awful in the dress, no need to…

-no your highness you look really pretty, the prince chose perfectly your wedding dress. Unfortunately it came late that we had to wait to see that beauty." Brielle explained and Mal was shocked.

"-so…this was my wedding dress…since the beginning.

-yes since a week ago." The designer answered and Kieran was smirking.

"-so you like it? Prince.

-I have nothing to say except how sublime and pulchritudinous you look." He finished kissing the back of her hand.

"-how romantic your highness but I want to see her twirl and show off every detail of the dress.

-thanks Ayana but no need to…" she didn't finish before Kieran span her two times in a row to hold her back gently at the end.

Brielle and Ayana clapped at them; however Mal blushed and tried to free herself but he hugged her tighter.

"-that's enough romance for today love birds, leave some for tomorrow and Brielle…

-yes.

-did you run out of fabric that you left the back open?

-well no, the prince designed the model and I just sew it and sent to fix the gems on the waist.

-who knew our prince know how to design dresses." Mal whispered and he answered:

"-maybe she did it unconsciously for me." She went to change her clothes and she felt something undoing the knot, the straps become loose.

She instantly held the fabric on her chest from falling and turned to watch his devilish smile turn to worried expression.

He took of his blazer and placed it on her shoulder pushing her forward.

"-can you fix the straps problem Brielle?

-I will do my best.

-thank you.

-I'm going to kill you for that." She said between grunted teeth.

"-at home sweetheart but in all cases you can't…"she strangled him rigidly yet he was grinning at her.

They felt someone or two pair of eyes staring at them.

She quickly hided her madness with a lovely smile patting his cheek gently.

The princess and Brielle went to look for their dresses.

Mal stopped patting and slapped a bit hard before rolling her eyes and went to change.

"-let go I'm tired.

-aren't you going to choose my suit?

-what?

-a wish for a wish or did you forget?

-I didn't.

-great." Not wasting any second he changed quickly to his first suit.

"-how do I look?" it was fitting him perfectly yet didn't want to show him her satisfaction she acted as if it wasn't good enough. He tilted his head in acceptance with a smirk of arrogance.

One after one and Mal didn't approve.

"-are you giving your honest opinion or a payback for what I did?

-I only give my honest opinion your majesty.

-I see…then I guess if you didn't like this one I had to attend the wedding naked.

-what?" she was startled, Ayana rolled her eyes cause she know well he can do it and would probably do it while Brielle commented:

"-the scoop of the year; I can't wait for tomorrow.

-me neither." Mal whispered and Kieran cut her raising thoughts walking with finesse and grace. With a little her push and a light smile: a dead gorgeous groom.

He was really attractive in that blue silvery suit and she can't deny.

"-I like it, we will take it.

-you like it or afraid of seeing me naked tomorrow.

-when will you bring them Brielle?" Mal ignored him watching Ayana holding back her laughter.

"-I will send it to the castle the moment I finish fixing your dress princess.

-thank you for everything.

-at your service my queen." She bowed at her and left them.

"-now or later?

-when we get home prince.

-deal." He winked at Ayana.

"-what are you talking about you two?

"-well it's nothing…

-tell her the truth!" the prince yelled from behind the curtains.

"-what is it Ayana tell me!

-you…

-I made a bet that you will like this suit and look at me with eyes full of admiration; the marriage thing start to appeal to you. And it seems like I won the bet." He popped his head from behind the curtains and winked at her before going back to undress.

-what!" Mal yelled and Ayana glared at him before she clarified to her.

"-we debated which suit you will like better depending on your preferences and he won. Please don't get mad.

-I'm mad he know me better than you.

-yeah I am shocked too… I see a wedding with happiness and prosperity." She passed her hands dramatically in front of them.

Mal pushed her playfully and they exploded in laughter.

"-don't forget with a lot of heirs too!

-shut up!" Mal answered him.

Few minutes later they left.

"-see you there guys.

-where are you going Ayana?" Mal asked when the princess walked in other direction.

"-the king can't see her with us or we will be in big trouble especially her. You don't want to see Verin mad.

-I faced worse and the crazy king is my last concern.

-is this confidence or foolishness?

-faith darling.

-did you just flirt?" he asked shocked but she raised her shoulders unbothered at him.

"-answer me!

-a truth for a truth.

-fine but me first.

-perfect with me do you consider me as a family?

-I didn't mean that but fine.

-that's not an answer.

-I do…is that an enough answer for your question.

-yeah but…why?

-no, no this my turn to ask; did you really flirt with me?

-kind of was intended.

-no but…

-a truth for truth." He growled before he answered:

"-I truthfully do consider you like a family more than my own father was; even though you almost killed me but I didn't mind honestly.

-you wanted to kill me too, yet you resisted.

-probably because you mean a lot to me and no I am not saying that as a plan to trick you, I am just an honest person.

-yeah I see.

-now you.

-I haven't flirted with someone before; and you always make my mood in the worst way I thought to try it and even if it is going to be awkward; it's with you so it doesn't matter.

-tuned out you feel comfortable next to your enemy.

-who said you were my enemy? Cause I didn't.

-are you flirting again." She shook her head grinning and the horse galloped.

"-hey wait!"
