Over at where the children were, their sandcastle kingdom was rapidly growing.

"Ru, please we need you to get us more water." Sunshine dismissed her older cousin calmly, waving a bucket at her.

Ruby nodded, making a face. "Uh… sure, I'll be… right back." She agreed, getting up from where she was crouched to collect the red, plastic bucket.

She wandered down to the ocean, absent-minded, she was starting to not dislike the trip, besides it was just for a couple of days she could suck it up and try to have fun.

She waded deeper a bit so that she wouldn't get sand in the water, bending down to scoop.

"Hey." A voice called from behind her, startling her.

"Ah!" She shrieked, losing her balance and falling forward, this makes the person behind her also trip, going down in the water beside her.

When they finally got their bearings and sat up, Ruby found herself looking straight at wide silver eyes that reflected the ocean, giving it a blue tint.
