The journey continues!

The sound of the wind hitting the shores and the waves splashing, alongside some native fauna calling for their kin welcomed the presence of our group, as if it was a unique melody, ever-changing.

Edric had gathered the kids at the shore, planning their travel to a new continent in a second.

Now, while there really wasn't a problem with simply swimming or flying all the way to the other continents, it would be quite inconvenient, especially since Edric wanted to let them explore the sea and rest in the travel. After all, If he simply wanted to reach his destination he could probably just teleport them to it.

But the journey was important as well.

And so, the best option would be to build a vehicle to travel in. And there were nothing but options, he could make anything from a plane to a submarine, or even just a floating house could do the job.

Thus he decided on making something that would allow for mobility, comfort and a clever way to go undetected, at least to the blind eye.

And so the kids walked back to the entrance of the cabin, Edric had decided not to teach them about this unless they asked, due to it beings somewhat complex.

And so he started working...

He started controlling his essence, using it to gather a large amount of sand in the air, some sand critters quickly ran away, and soon there was an obnoxious amount of sand levitating over the sea.

Edric then started changing his body, he extended the tip of his index finger, encapsulating the sand and shaping it to his will, he compressed the sand into a shape reminiscent of a submarine, and when he finished carving both the inside and outside of the vehicle came the last part of the process.

(Since I have this much control over the state of my body I should be able to do this)

And so, he made a dark barrier around him using essence and then he started warming up his body, and the temperature started increasing exponentially, heating the silicon inside the black sand untill the sand under his feet started melting.

He carefully removed impurities from the melting sand, compressing it further and also adding some pigments that he created into certain parts of the vehicle as the kids watched amazed in the safety outside of the barrier.

Had he not put the barrier in place, the light emitting from the sand might have been damaging for their eyes, but then again, they weren't human, and while he knew everything about Tihoro and Urosu he didn't inspect Anas body so he couldn't be sure.

The shadows started to move with the slow rotation of the star that brought life to this planet, Edric couldn't go too fast or there could be some defects in his creation, after three hours he started cooling his body in different speeds, and twenty minutes later his creation was done.

(Oh, would you look at that)

He got rid of the barrier and then dropped the results of his work on the water, it splashed on the water and showed its magnificent sight.

It was a massive glass submarine showing its splendor to the world, but that wasn't all there was to it, if you were to look closer you could see that the interior of the vehicle was filled with countless arrays of complex patters, akin to a human's neurons.

That's right, he had borrowed the ruin's technology, as well of giving it a much needed (at least from his perspective) improvement.

He said as he looked at the kids, and then he put his hands in his creation while levitating and fed it with some of his essence, then the top of the submarine started moving until its exterior looked like that one of a ship.

As the kids reached Mozus a section of it opened up like a sliding door and a set of stairs extended from it.

[WELCOME ABOARD CREW]

[Woah, it can talk?!](A)

[How is it even doing that?!](A)

[It's using essence](E)

As Edric said that he started entering Mozus, he had made the ground on the inside rough enough to be able to walk comfortably, and it had a slightly darker shade than its walls, which were completely transparent just like windows.

[Over here, these are your rooms](E)

He showed them automatic doors leading to three rooms that had red, black and white floors respectively. They were big enough to comfortably house them, although there weren't any beds.

Mozus also had other types of rooms, such as a kitchen, a shower room,a storage room, a living room and, of course, Edric's room. There were also stairs to the deck, were it could be piloted and instructed.

Edric explained this to the kids while he started walking towards the helm.

[Well then, it's time to start moving](E)

He said as he reached the helm that was simply a glass square, he then dragged his finger across it in a forward motion.

[ESSENCE PROPULSION ACTIVATED]

And so, Mozus started going deeper into the ocean, at first with a slow pace and then slowly accelerating until the shore was far away.

[It certainly is fast enough to be a good vehicle, even if this planet is quite big]

Edric admired his creation as he put it to use, and then he tapped the helm two time and Mozus started descending, changing once more into a submarine.

[STEALTH MODE ACTIVATED]

And the sight that unfolded was something truly astounding.

Blood red algea and black sands created a unique habitat filled with the most unique of aquatic fauna, such as transparent eel like creatures, color changing sepia, colorful schools of fish and unique mammals with transparent chests that showed their lungs, all of these were using essence in unique ways to move, fight, camouflage and co-exist with themselves.
