The beginning.

-Gadmar kingdom-

Inside of a sophisticated room there was a young noble looking down at a butler, he was sitting in a throne and he had green, long hair. The room was filled with tension and the butler started sweating while kneeling in the ground.

[What did you just say...? Could you say that again?] Said the young noble while he was trying to keep a composed expression, although his hand had destroyed the handle of the throne.

[S-Sir! The new hero went missing!] Answered the butler loudly as he started feeling nervous.

[...And how long ago did this happen, hmm?]

[It's been a few weeks, Sir!]

[...And, why am I only being informed of this now?] The noble was slowly losing his patience, but he knew that the butler wasn't in the wrong here, he had learned to not be too arrogant.

He learned that the hard way.

[T-Thats... Apparently, Our warriors were locked in a magic barrier and they were unable to contact us until it reached its limit and broke...]

The noble tilted his head and grabbed his chin.

(...Is that true? There is only one person that has enough mana and control over it to do that... But she's dead... The hero was also good at magic, but he shouldn't have enough strength to do it)

He was at a dilemma.

(He could have become stronger, but he should be close to his limits... Unles-)

Suddenly the whole planet shaked.

And the winds roared.

As this happened, the whole world fell in chaos.

-Three days later-

There was a massive crowd of people walking towards what seemed like ships, and they started entering them soon enough.

The ship's sails had a shape similar to that of a hot air balloon. After the ships couldn't fit more citizens they started lifting to the air using their massive sails.

One man was watching this with a calm face, and he opened his mouth.

[Times are changing... The earthquakes calmed down for now but it's only a matter of time before they come back. maybe it's finally time to leave our differences with the other species aside]

He turned around and started walking with firm steps towards the distance.

-Demon continent-

A dimly light room.

And inside it, a humanoid figure.

It stood up and spoke.

[I'm growing old... It's time for a new warrior ready for the future]

He looked at his legion of demons.

[I'm not enough... I need someone stronger]

He made a decision.

[There shall be... A new Demon Lord]

Edric looked at the kids and a thought popped up in his mind.

(They're ready to travel)

He smiled.

(We will soon go to the other continents)
