Sleeping.

After they finished their meal, Edric built simple beds for all of them to use, and he made mattresses out of a plant similar to cotton he had gathered before.

Even though none of them needed to sleep, he still decided to do these beds because he thought that it would be beneficial for the children, and perhaps even for himself.

He then walked inside a room and put Anas inside the bed there, Anas was confused but then Edric taught Anas how to sleep, explaining to him why he should do this.

[We don't need to have fun, but we still do]

He looked at Anas as he spoke.

[We don't need to rest, but we do... We need to enjoy the things we do and be happy so that we don't regret not doing it]

He patted Anas' head and spoke softly.

[Close your eyes and calm your breathing... Just relax]

He continued to pat Anas until he fell asleep, and he looked at the sleeping child with a smile.

He then looked at the two beings he had created using nothing more than bones and essence.

They had become almost as intelligent as a human and also looked similar to one due to him modeling them after humans.

He smiled and then headed to their room, putting them to sleep as well.

The siblings latched onto his hands even after they fell asleep, without letting him go.

Edric smiled and then he turned his hands into a liquid as he walked away from their room.

He headed outside the house and then he observed the darker around him, as well as the bright, countless stars littered in the sky.

He closed his eyes and listened to the animals making sounds in the distance as he sat down on the ground.

Some memories started surfacing his mind, and he felt reminds about his past of a long time ago.

Edric then stood up and decided to sleep as well, even though he didn't need to do it.

He layed down in the bed he made and cloed his eyes.

he relaxed everything part of his body and then started letting his consciousness fade into his subconscious.

And soon enough he fell asleep.

There was a young infant reading a book with extreme interest and an interested look on his face.

his hair was black and his eyes were blue, and he wore glasses.

The book he was reading was one that would normally be read by college students, but the infant was able to read it without any problems, there was a gentle looking woman that looked at him with a proud look in her face, and soon enough a man entered the room and he also observed proudly the behavior of the child.

The child finished reading the book and then he saw the two adults and started smiling.

[Mom! Dad!] He said with a grin.

The adults quickly moved towards him and smiled while hugging him.

[Look at our little son, he works so hard!] Said the woman with a dumb smile on her face.

The man looked at this exchange with a smile.

the child's stomach made a loud sound, and both of the adults laughed out loud at this display.

The woman then said.

[You must be quite hungry after working so hard, let mom cook some dinner]

the child smiled and then he had a meal with his parents, leaving the book in a wooden stool.

the child was living a very happy life alongside his family, even though he would later be known as the greatest genius in humanity.

Edric woke up after having a good dream, and then he noticed that the children were still sleeping so he decided to be silent and head outside the house.

he made a chair out of wood and then he looked at the blue sky, waiting for the children to wake up with a smile on his face.

He felt like he had lifted a weight on his chest, and he felt like he had completely regained all of the emotions he had once lost.

He felt happy about the future, and the things that would happen in it.

Edric felt happy.
