1 Opportunity

Alex was bored with his life. He was a 25-year-old accountant who spent his days crunching numbers and his nights watching Netflix. He had no friends, no Passion hobbies, well reading if I may put that there. He often wondered if there was more to life than this mundane routine.

One day, as he was walking home from work, he saw a strange sight: a man dressed in a green cloak and holding a golden staff. He looked like he had stepped out of a comic book. The man approached Alex and smiled.

"Hello, mortal. I am Loki, the god of mischief. And I have a proposition for you. How would you like to see the wonders of the Marvel universe? To visit Asgard, Wakanda, Xandar, and beyond? To meet heroes and villains, gods and monsters, friends and foes? All you have to do is accept my offer. And trust me, you won't regret it."

Alex scanned his surroundings, looking for hidden cameras or pranksters. He couldn't believe his eyes. Standing before him was a man in a green cloak and a golden staff, who claimed to be Loki, the god of mischief. He burst into a loud guffaw, clutching his stomach.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Oh man, this is hilarious! I haven't laughed like this since my birthday!" He wiped a tear from his eye and looked down at the supposed god. "Hey, I'm sorry, dude. It's just that life has been a little too hard on me lately, and this... this is just what I needed. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings in any way."

Loki glared at the mortal with contempt. He felt a surge of anger and indignation. How dare this puny human mock him, laugh at him, treat him like a joke? He was Loki, the god of mischief, the trickster, the master of lies. He deserved respect and awe, not ridicule and pity.

Alex felt a surge of fear as he saw Loki swing his scepter around, conjuring unknown magic. He tried to back away, but it was too late.

"You shall face the consequences of your actions, Alex Wills!" Loki shouted, his voice echoing in the air. "How did you know my name?" Alex gasped, his eyes widening. "I know many things, mortal. And I do not take kindly to being mocked and laughed at. Especially by a pathetic worm like you." Loki sneered, his eyes glowing with malice.

Alex felt a crushing force push him down to the ground, forcing him to kneel and then bow before the god. He struggled to breathe, to move, to speak, but he was powerless. He realized he had made a terrible mistake. He had angered a god, a real god. And he was going to pay with his life.

'This is murder. This is murder. This is murder.' The thought repeated in his mind, like a mantra of doom. He glimpsed a blinding flash of light, and heard Loki's final words.

"Vanish from me, you puny human."

Alex felt a sudden jolt of pain, followed by a blinding flash of light. He heard Loki's voice in his head, saying "Vanish from me, you puny human." Then everything went dark.

He didn't know how much time had passed, but he soon became aware of a new sensation. He felt warm, wet, and cramped. He heard muffled sounds and felt rhythmic movements. He realized he was inside a womb. He was alive, but in a different body.

He tried to remember who he was, where he came from, what had happened to him. He recalled his name, his age, his job, his life. He remembered the encounter with Loki, the god of mischief, who had offered him a chance to see something or do something I don't know. He remembered how he had laughed at him, and how the God had punished him with magic, magic's real!

He wondered if this was some kind of trick, or a cruel joke. Was he really in womb, or was he in a coma, or a simulation? He had no way of knowing for sure. He decided to wait and see what would happen next.

He felt the womb contract around him, squeezing him harder and harder. He heard a woman scream, and a man shout. He realized he was about to be born. He felt a sudden push, and then he slid out of the womb and into the world.

He opened his eyes and saw a bright light. He felt a pair of hands lift him up and place him on a warm chest. He heard a heartbeat and a voice. He looked up and saw a woman's face. She had brown hair, green eyes, and a smile. She said, "Hello, my baby. I'm your mommy. And this is your daddy." She pointed to a man who had blond hair, blue eyes, and a beard. He looked familiar, but Alex couldn't place him.

The man said, "Welcome to the world, son. We're so happy you're here. We've been waiting for you for a long time. We love you so much." He leaned in and kissed the woman and the baby. He said, "You're perfect. Just perfect. You have your mother's eyes, and my hair. And you have a name little one. We named you after my father. You're Gile Tray Leiston."

(Nope no Starks here lol)

One month had passed since I was reincarnated in the Marvel universe. A series of events had taken place while I was adjusting to my new life. I was in the Marvel universe, for crying out loud! How crazy was that? I was terrified and thrilled at the same time. I didn't have enough knowledge to survive in this dangerous world so How am I going to live? Wait, I did have some knowledge. Hehe, watch out, world. Here comes an overpowered baby. Knowledge was the key to survival in this world. But those fanfics didn't do it justice so now hehe, let's see what I can remember...

For five minutes straight nothing how could I not remember anything from hundreds of fanfics, I can't even remember one. I'm so dead not fully tho because I have this bad boi.

Now, what was present in front of me was a translucent screen that floated in the air. It was like those systems in those fanfics, but the question of the day is how did my nanny not see this?

Huh it finally moves! A question...

The question on the screen was simple, but intriguing. It said:

[Do you want to activate the Marvel Military System? Y/N]

I had no idea what the Marvel Military System wasor does, but it sounded awesome. Maybe it was a way to access the knowledge and power of the Marvel universe good good. Maybe it was a way to make my life more interesting and fun. Maybe it was a way to escape the fate that that God had planned for me .

I wanted to activate it, but I didn't know how. I was a baby, after all. I couldn't talk, or type, or touch the screen. I could only stare at it, and hope that it would somehow sense my intention.

Then, I had an idea. I remembered that in some fanfics, the system would respond to the user's thoughts. Maybe this system was the same. Maybe I could activate it by thinking 'Y'.

I decided to give it a try. I focused all my attention on the screen, and thought as hard as I could:

'Y. Y. Y. Y. Y.'

To my surprise and delight, the screen flashed and changed. It said:

[Marvel Military System activated. Welcome, User. You have been chosen/ forced to be the protagonist of your own Marvel story. You will have access to various features, such as quests, skills, items, shops, and more. You will also have the opportunity to interact with the characters and events of the Marvel universe.
