The next morning I woke up feeling a lot better. I head straight for my bathroom to take a bath. I washed my hair with my regular lavender shampoo and took a quick hot shower.
I let the warm water run down my body as I thought about everything Blake had said to me.
It's not like I had anything g else worthwhile to do with my time and it wouldn't hurt to just give it a chance.
I got out of the shower, using a towel to dry my body and the blow dryer to dry my hair. I got out most of the water from hair the head back to my room.
I threw on ripped shorts with white crop top and my pink flats, yeah I know I'm not much dressing up.
I put on some eyeliner, a little powder on my face and lipgloss.
I ran down the stairs with the hope of starting breakfast.
I wanted to help Christina out a bit after how I behaved last night.
I turned on the coffee machine and took the fruits from the fridge and placed them on the table.
Welcome to my home where that's all we eat for breakfast, except for Ari who has the appetite of an elephant, damn that girl could eat.
I took out a yogurt with eggs for her.
I was just about to get my cup to take my coffee when I bumped into dad.
"Oh, good morning daddy" I smiled.
"You look happy today" he hugged me.
"Yeah I guess"
I turned around to see a yawning Christina walking into the kitchen in her bathrobe and wiping her eyes.
"Oh Hun, I'm sorry I slept in"
She froze when she saw me.
"Oh Gem you're up"she stated.
"Yeah I wanted to help you out, knowing I have a little brother on the way, and I truly am sorry about yesterday, it just happened."
I know I give Christina a hard time sometimes, but can you blame me. She wasn't my mother and I don't think I've gotten over losing my mom.
"Don't worry, weren't we all teenagers once" she smiled.
"Hey I wanted the Apple" Ari's voice disturbing our conversation echoes through the house.
"You snooze you loose" Capree said sticking her tongue out.
Capree was an enemy to everyone in the house, it was a hobby of hers to annoy everyone.
"Honey just take something else" my father cooed.
"Fine, but I'm gonna get her for this"
"Ari you need to hurry if you need me to take you to school" I told her.
I took a sip from my cup glimpsing next door.
"On second thought, Capree will have to take you, I have something to do"
I placed my cup in the sink grab my bag and left the house.
I skipped over to the house I haven't been in two years. I knocked on the door, and of course it didn't take long to open.
Standing in front of me was 4ft 1" tall blonde hair Paige.
"Oh, Hi Gem can I help you?"
She asked with that signature smile her entire family sports.
"I'm here to see Siege" I informed her.
"Right this way."
She dragged me inside and as usual the house was chaotic.
I spotted Mrs. Anderson sitting around the dinning table with her coffee mug and her newspaper.
"Well hello Gemini, it's been a while i haven't seen you"
Try two years.
The house looked the same, the family photo still hang in the middle of the living room. The sofa was the same from when Blake and I use to hang out.
I smiled seeing a touch of pink stain on the sofa from when Blake and I were making potions one day.
Everything was the same.
" I know I've been busy with school" I lied.
" Oh I understand, you're here to see Blake I suppose" she smiled at me.
"Actually I am ".
Before I could move again I almost bumped into a Brunette, not much taller than me.
"Oh Emily this is Gemini, Gemini this is Emily, Drake's girlfriend" Paige stated.
"Nice to meet you" I said looking around the house for Blake.
She just smiled at me.
She had brunette hair and olive skin, she was skinny and had piercing blu eyes. She was sporting an over sized T-shirt I could tell it was one of Drakes'. Her hair was tossed in a messy bun.
She looked like they had just done the nasties.
But what more could I expect, it was Drakes' girlfriend.
I mentally rolled my eyes.
"Blake should be up in his room Gemini" Mrs. Anderson said breaking my chain of thoughts.
"Thanks".
With that I jogged up the stairs.
" Heeeyyy Gem, long time no see" without turning around I knew that it was Drake.
"What can I say, I try to stay away from nuisance" I spat.
"Ouch that hurts" he said holding his chest. "You know Blake told me you two were dating but I just couldn't believe him"
"And why's that?" I asked
"Because..... You're not really his type" he said with a sympathetic look on his face.
"Screw you Drake"
I continued my journey to Blake's room.
"Hey don't worry maybe you can change him", he yelled from behind me.
I got to Blake's room and I pushed the door open .
"Don't you know how to knock Gem" he said as I entered the room.
"Whatever Blake"
He was shirtless showing his perfectly toned chest. Damn he was hot. The tattoo he got on his chest two years ago caught my eyes, immediately the tears began. That tattoo meant the world to him Izabella.
"Oh My, I'm so sorry" he quickly
threw on a shirt.
"I'm not gonna cry" I said trying to hold back my tears.
It was hard, Blake and I would have had a life together but that wasn't our fate.
Seeing him here now, it broke me. But I had to be strong.
" Ok good. So why are you here?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I accept your offer"
A smile prominent on his face.
"On one condition" I said holding up my index finger.
"What's that?" He questioned.
" You mention nothing of what two years ago to me or anyone of the sort" I made myself clear.
"Deal."
I stood there looking at him, his gaze holding mine.
He pulled me in by the waist.
There was an explosion in my stomach, something I hadn't felt in years.
"Thank you", he said as he placed a soft kiss on my forehead.
