chapter - 8

Kavin was sitting on the couch in his room working on a laptop. Purvi opens the door slowly peeping inside the room. She slowly entered the room, closing the door behind carefully. She sat on the table in front of the couch where Kavin was sitting working on a laptop. Kavin very well knows of her presence in the room. Being a gangster he has a very sharp sense. He even can sense it in his sleep. He knew she was sitting in front of him but decided to stay quiet and see what she was up to. She clears her throat to gain his attention but he continues his work ignoring her. Now she gets irritated and takes his laptop from his hand and keeps it aside.

" Pihu yaar mein kam kar raha hu." Kavin says.

" Mein kab se yaha aap se baat karni koshish kar rahi hu lekin aap lage pade hai iss faltu sa laptop toh mujhse  jyada  important hai, hai na." Purvi says.

"Ara pihu sa jada kuch important na tho hai aur na he kabhi hoga. Acha ab bolo Kya baat hai. " Kavin held her hand and made her sit on his lap.

" Aap ko meri friend reshma yaad hai." Purvi circles her hand around his neck.

" Tumhari college wali new friend." Kavin asked.

" Haan wohi." Purvi says.

" Tho Uska Kya. " Kavin raised his eyebrow at her.

" Uska kuch nahi actually Reshma, priti, ritu, Reshma ki sister mansi aur mansi ki do friends sakshi, Neha they all are planning a night over at reshma's place. So they insist that I should join them ,toh." Purvi tells.

" Toh?" Kavin asked.

" Toh mein jao plz. " Purvi made the most innocent face which melted his heart.

"No you can't." Kavin denied.

" But why?" Purvi asked.

" Jaan din mein tum college mein busy hoti ho aur mein office mein. Aur office mein pura din meeting's aur kam sa bhuat frustrated hota hu shaam ko ghar aata hu I only want to see you be with you aur tuma reshma ka ghar jana hai." Kavin says.

"O god, kittu mein bas 1 raat ka liya ja rahi hu. Humesha ka liya nahi bas ek din ki baat hai maan jaya na plz." Purvi request.

" Ok but this is the first and last time isska baad mein permission nahi dunga. " Kavin gives her permission after thinking for a while.

" Yeah.... You are the best." Purvi hugs him.

" Ok.. Ok but you have to promise me a few things. " Kavin says while hugging her back.

" Kasa promise. " She pulled back from the hug , still sitting on his lap.

" Yahe ki you should stay at her home and won't step outside aur mein tuma Kal subha 6 baja wapas lana aaunga." Kavin says.

"Ok." Purvi agrees. She gets up to go. He pulls her back and joins their foreheads.

" Mein tumhe permission di thi uska badla mujha bhi kuch milna chaya hai na." Kavin moves closer, decreasing the gap between them and the next moment Purvi feels his lips on her. Kavin was kissing her passionately and she also responded with the same passion, making him smile. After a few minutes of passionate kiss they broke the kiss breathing heavily. Kavin rested his forehead on her. Whereas Purvi was blushing hard her cheeks flushed bright red. Her phone rings showing the ID of reshma calling. She runs to the balcony, blushing , making Kavin chuckled.

"You reached your destination." Google Map says. Kavin stops the car in front of ' pearl housing society'.

"Pihu are you sure tum ya sleepover karna hai." Kavin asked, looking towards her.

" Kittu we had this discussion before." Purvi replied.

" Ok, But be safe, don't go outside and call me if there is any problem." Kavin says.

" Ok, Now may I go." Purvi asked.

" Hmm... Good night jaan, enjoy yourself. " kavin pulled her in a hug. After a minute they separated and Kavin kissed her forehead.

" Good night, Aur aap ghar jakar soa jana. Laptop lakar kam karna maat bheat jana." Purvi said.

" Ok madam." Kavin said, saluting her and she laughed at this. Bidding him bye she moved inside the building and Kavin headed towards home.

Purvi rings the bell and reshma opens the door and jumps on her to hug her. They both move inside.

" Purvi ya hai Meri sister Mansi aur uska friends Sakshi and Neha. " Reshma says.

" Hii. " Purvi wish.

" Hello." Mansi and Sakshi wish.

" Aur ya hai meira mom and dad." reshma says pointing towards a couple in their late forties.

" Namasta uncle, Namasta aunty." Purvi touched their feets.

" Namaste beta. Khush raho. " Reshma's parents blessed her.

They were talking normally while sitting on the couch and Purvi's phone rang. Of course it was kavin who else would call her at night. Purvi smiles looking at caller ID.

" Hmmmm......" Reshma , priti and ritu give her a mischievous smile.

" Excuse me. " Purvi excuses herself.

" Haan, Haan jau jau karlo baat balcony is right there. " Reshma says teasingly.

After 15 mins Purvi came back hanging up the call. She sits in place while everyone looks at her.

" woh ghar poach gaya tho wahi batan ka liye call Kiya tha aur kuch nahi." Purvi says.

" Haan toh humne Kab kaha kuch aur baat hai." Ritu asked.

" Ya fir pati dev ka bilkul man nahi lagat tumara bina." Priti attended.

" Aur nahi toh Kya adha ghanta nahi hua aur abhi sa phone Chalu." Reshma says.

" Esa kuch nahi hai tum log jada dimag mat chalo. " Purvi blushed deeply.

" Ara - Ara bas karo tum sab kitna sataoge bechari ko. Naye - Naye Shadi huye hai uski aur tum sab sa usa yeha bula liya tho phone tho aayaga he na. '' Reshma's mom says. Purvi blushed and everyone laughed.

" Acha Chalo let's go guy's ." Mansi says.

" Tum logo ko kisi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh bata dena. '' Reshma's mom says. Wishing good night to the girls, Reshma's parents move to their room. While girls move to reshma and Mansi's room.

It was around 1 at night. Girls were sitting on bed with blankets over them, lights were off and they were watching horror movies. When suddenly Purvi's phone rang. All shouts at the sound of the ring.

" Guy's chill mera phone hai. " Purvi says, checking her phone.

" Haan kavin boleya. " Purvi says, picking up the call.

" Are you ok kuch problem tho nahi hai na. You are comfortable na. " Kavin asked several Questions.

" kittu relax, I'm perfectly alright. Aur Abhi tak Q jag raha hai aapko kal office nahi jana hai Kya. " Purvi says.

" Kya karu tumhare bagair nind nahi aa rahi. " Kavin says, sounding sad.

" I miss you so much jaan. " Kavin says.

" I miss you too kittu." Purvi says.

" Ok aab tum enjoy Karo aur mein bhi try karta ho sona ka. " Kavin says.

" Good night." Purvi says and they hang up the call and continue watching the movie.

All girls were sleeping now except Purvi as she was not getting sleep. She realised it was because Kavin was not beside her. She checked the time it was 2:30 am. Finally she decides to call kavin. Kavin picks the call at the very first ring.

" Hello pihu you OK Kya hua. " kavin sounds panicked.

" Relax, I'm all good, it 's just mujhe neend nahi aa rahi plz mujha lana aajaya. " Purvi says.

" I will be there right now." Kavin says while smiling brightly.

Purvi Informs reshma and others that she is going home and kavin is coming to pick her up. At first they were not ready to let her go at the odd time of night but she somehow convinced them and they agreed.
