Chapter - 23

Kavin return to his room at night from his study room. He slowly opens the door thinking purvi must be sleeping and not to disturb her sleep. He gets inside closing the door behind him slowly. But to his surprise he found bed empty. He look around scanning the whole room and finally found the balcony door open. He moved towards balcony and there she was sitting on swing, swinging it back and forth with her legs and her hands placed by her side looking towards sky admiring the moon. He move close to her and sat beside her. She shifted her glaze at him giving her charming simle and snuggle close to him. He smile and wrapped his one hand around her shoulder holding her close to him in his embrace.

" Tum tho soa rahi thi na? " kavin asked caressing her hairs.

" Aapko pata hai na mujha akela neend nahi aati. " Purvi replied snuggling close to his heart.

" Chalo it's too late now soa jata hai kal college bhi hai tumara. " He says glancing at his wrist watch.

" Lekin abhi mujha bilkul bhi neend nahi aarahi. " She says .

" Tho. " He asked looking at her who was already looking at him.

" ummm, kittu mujha na long drive par jana hai abhi. " She came out of hug looking at him with pleased eyes.

" Pihu raat ka 12:30 baj raha hai abhi soa jao hum Saturday night chalta hai. " He said and take her inside.

" Plz na kittu plz. " She said making a puppy faceand that's it now he can't denie.

" Ok, tum nicha chalo mein car ki keys aur wallet lekar aata ho. " He agreed to take her on long drive.

" Ok, lekin jaldi aana. " She says going out of room. Kavin goes inside closet and come out wearing a hoodie jacket and carring Purvi's jacket in his hand. He collects his wallet and car keys from bedside table drawer and went downstairs.

Purvi was waiting for kavin near stairs checking out her mobile. Kavin came decending down the stairs and stood beside her 

" Chala. " Purvi asked as she saw kavin standing near her.

" Phela yeh pahan loa. " He made her wear her hoodie jacket. She smiles at his care.

" Let's go. " He held her hand in his and lead her to the car.

" Sir any problem?" The security head came near them.

" No vishal just taking her for drive. " kavin replied. Vishal look at him in shock for a minute registering his word and why not anybody could be shocked if he see kavin doing all this romantic things as this is not kavin's image. He is rude, arrogant, ruthless man for world.Kavin looked at him rasing his eye brow at him.

" O...ok sir I will also come with guards as it's too  late. " vishal says and kavin nods at him.

" Kittu yaha bhi guards like seriously. " Purvi makes irritating face.

" Pihu safety first. " kavin says in serious tone. She stamp her feet and sit inside the car. Kavin too settled down on driver seat.

" So kaha jana hai. " He asked starting the car.

" marine drive. " she replied getting excited. Making him chucked at her excitement.

They reached Marine drive talking and laughing all the way. He came out of car and open the door for purvi. She came out holding his hand. She walk forward observing the night view of Marine drive. Wind brizz hitting her face making her hairs fly on air which spreads a beautiful smile across her face. Kavin who was standing behind her observing at her every expression keenly. Her smile and happiness giving him impulse peace to his heart.

Purvi turns behind to see kavin who was staring her without blink. She smiles at him mischievously and move close to him and messed his hairs with her hand bringing him out of his dream land. He groans in irritation and she run laughing at his irritated expression. He too runs behind her. In no time he catch her from behind holding her waist lifting her up and twirling her around making her laugh to fullest.

Now both of them were sitting close to each other.Purvi was  looking at the water feeling the calmness of it. Her head was resting on kavin's shoulder and arms wrapped around his arms. He was sitting face to the roads. Their eyes were closed absorbing the silence and peace of night.

" Ghar chala." kavin asked breaking the comfortable silence as it was hour they are sitting like this.

" Hmmmm." she hummed in response.

Kavin stood up and held out his hand for her which she accepted smilingly and placed her hand on his. He helped her to get up and they both headed back to home.
