POV Hibari Kyoya:

Hibari Kyoya was 3 years old when he was told that he was going to be an older brother, he was told that he should take care of him and protect him which translated into: Teaching the new member of the pack how to be a respectable carnivore, sharpening his fangs and claws which I'd gladly do, after all he couldn't have a useless herbivore brother could he?

POV Hibari Masaru and Kimiko:

Hibari Masaru and Hibari Kimiko were a happy couple, they had a wonderful child, the future of the clan was assured and then they were blessed with a second miracle and that's when they think they couldn't be happier, something happened, Kimiko's pregnancy was going well. and it sure was a smooth process, until one of his family's enemies attacked.

But they were Hibaris and Hibaris were carnivores, predators that were after their prey, the idiots only went straight to a massacre for their own, they were fine so someone injured Kimiko it was just a scratch but the blade was poisoned with an abortifacient, the idiots they attacked his family and they retaliated.

When they arrived at the hospital Masaru was a bundle of internal nerves and Kimiko was not better, then the worst happened her little baby was a girl, a little girl with Masaru's grandmother's eyes green like jade, she was too small, too weak and yet they could not love her anymore or so they believed, when the doctors told her that she would not survive, something in them broke and then her little baby happened proved to be her second miracle refusing to give up and winning the battle they all lost their faith in she said it was impossible.

But she was a Hibari and she proved it by living, silencing all the useless herbivores who gave her up for defeat and that is why they both loved her even more, even when they thought it impossible and when those eyes opened and looked directly at them with that beautiful green jade they couldn't put another name to it Meyling (beautiful jade stones).

Their little baby was still with them still a little weak, still very small, but very alive and they could not love her more.
