The Argents

"Did my brother tell you to keep an eye on me?" Ryan asks.

"No. Despite you wanting to kill you're dad, he still trusts you."

Ryan smirks.

"I'm guessing you don't share that trust."

"You haven't given me a reason to."

"Ouch. That kinda hurts a bit." Ryan sarcastically says.

"You drop in on Jacob after three years, you tell him that you want him to help kill his father, and now you're pulling crap like this with the Sheriff. Let's just say your actions don't inspire confidence."

"Look, I appreciate a judgmental tone as much as the next guy, but I don't need a lecture."

Ryan turns to walk away, but Tiffany superspeeds in front of him.

"Do you know how much you're asking of him?"

Ryan scoffs.

"I know. Of course I do. But you've seen what our old man has been doing. What? Do you just want him to continue living his life in this town and ignore it?"

Tiffany stays silent for a moment.

"Putting him down, is the best option."

"I'll help all I can. For Jacob. But don't act like this is for anyone but yourself."

"You're wrong, Vampire queen. I'm doing this for my family."

Ryan walks off into the darkness as Tiffany watches on in silence.

Later that night, Sheriff Donovan, Michelle Forbes, and the two hunters meet in the Sheriff's office.

"Did this Ryan Cage hurt you, Michael?" Michelle asks.

"No. He just asked about who knows about the supernatural, and if we know where his father is."

The two hunters think to themselves for a moment.

"You think Ryan and his brother are trying to protect their father?" Forbes asks.

"I'm not sure, but we need to find out if they really know where's Xavier, before someone else ends up dead." The man hunter says.

The girl hunter let's out a sigh.

"We need to question Jacob. He'll be easier to find than Ryan."

"I just got a text from Trixie. They'll be in the library studying."

"We can mobilize a team, and question him without any casualties."

Michael thinks for a moment.

"Ok. But make sure, the kids aren't hurt. Or find out about any of this."

The hunters nod and leave.

Meanwhile, Jacob, Hailey, Johnny, and Trixie are studying in the library with Jacob sitting with Hailey and Johnny sitting with Trixie. Johnny then notices Trixie shivering.

"It's freezing in here" Trixie says rubbing her hands together. Johnny then scrambles in his bag and finds an orange sweater. When he hands it to her, she looks at it awkwardly.

"I'm wearing blue" Trixie says. Johnny just looks at her confused.

Johnny just looks at her confused.

"Orange and blue, not a good match" she explains.

"It's the color of the Mets" Johnny argues.

Trixie smirks at him and Johnny puts his sweater in his bag. He then pulls out a Reaces peaces candy bar. Trixie shrugs and takes it as Johnny smiles.

"You know sometimes two things that you wouldn't think would go together are like a perfect match. Or, you know. Two people." Johnny says referring to him and Trixie.

"Yeah, I can see that."

Johnny is suprised by her answer.

"Really?" Johnny asks.

"Definitely. They are really cute together." Trixie says pointing at Jacob and Hailey laughing at the other table.

"Oh yeah. So cute. Adorable even." Johnny says as he slumps down in his seat.

"It's official. Chemistry sucks." Hailey says, laying her head down on the table.

"Yeah, my brain is officially fried."

The two share a small chuckle with each other.

"How bout we take a break. Tell me about yourself?"

Jacob smiles.

"Well, I'm a big reader, love the Harry Potter series. The Goblet of Fire is my favorite, hands down. I also love comic books. I'm a huge chess player. I used to play piano. My favorite movie is Blade."

Hailey let's out a small chuckle.

"Easy." Jacob jokingly says.

"Sorry, but your favorite movie is a kickboxing vampire movie." Hailey says with a smile.

"I think you mean a fantastic kickboxing vampire movie, but, I digress. I think Full House is the best TV show of all time. Huge Denzel Washington fan, I can watch Training Day a million times. One day, I want to be a veterinarian, love helping people whenever I can. I have two older siblings, a brother and a sister, and I love them both dearly."

Jacob stops for a minute, almost hesitating for a moment.

"My mom, passed away a few years ago. From an accident."

"Oh, Jacob, I'm so sorry." Hailey says with compassion.

Jacob smiles, pain still in his eyes.

"It's ok. I know she's in a better place. It hit my dad pretty hard though, sent him off the deep end, haven't seen him in awhile, but I hope one day I can... bring him back. So, what about you?"

"Well first off, my favorite movie is the Titanic."

Jacob jokingly scoffs.

"Hey, if your favorite movie can be about Wesley Snipes killing vampires, mine can be the greatest romance movie of all time."

"You mean the cheesiest movie of all time, with a stupid ending. That board was clearly big enough for two people."

Hailey laughs.

"I respect your opinion, even though it's wrong. But anyway, my favorite show is I Love Lucy. Robert De Niro is my all time favorite actor, The Godfather is amazing. I want to be a nurse, helping people is something I want to do. I have one older brother but you met him, he's a deputy and he's only two years older than we are. Our parents died in a car accident when we were pretty young. He's taken care of me ever since then."

"I'm sorry to hear that- about your parents, I mean. Do you... ever miss them?"

Hailey smiles.

"Yeah I do, even though I barely remember them. Do you miss your mom?"

"Everyday of my life, but I like to think that she would be proud of who I've become." Jacob answers with a hint of sadness in his voice.

Hailey then holds Jacobs hand and they stare into each others eyes. At that moment Jacob smells wolfsbane and hears foot steps towards the door. Hailey asks Jacob what's wrong but Jacob doesn't answer as he hears multiple guns loading to shoot. Jacobs eyes go wide.

"Everyone get down!" Jacob yells.

At that moment, a group of men kicks open the door. Johnny and Trixie duck behind the book case and Jacob picks up Hailey and jumps to where they are.

"No eyes on the target yet." One of the men says.

"What the hell is going on? Who are these guys?" Trixie whispers.

"Hunters." Jacob whispers to himself.

"What?" Hailey asks.

Jacob looks at Hailey, not answering the question.

"You guys run to the exit, I'll distract them."

Jacob tries to go, but Hailey grabs him by the arm.

"But, they have guns."

Jacob grabs Hailey's hand and smiles.

"It's ok, I'm gonna be fine."

The three then agree and take off to the exit. One of the hunters aim their gun at them, but Jacob jumps out, grabs the gun and headbutts him. He then grabs him by the shirt and throws him into another one. Another hunter tries to shoot, but Jacob dodges, grabs the gun, hits him across the face with it. The last hunter aims his gun at the young werewolf. Jacob puts his hands up, but slowly walks towards him.

"Don't move kid." The hunter demands.

Jacob ignores and keeps walking. The hunter tells him one more time, with Jacob still not listening. The hunter then pulls the trigger, but Jacob catches the bullet and kicks the hunter across the room and into the wall.

Jacob then opens his hand to reveal a burn mark. He drops the bullet and it quickly heals. Jacob then turns around and gets shot in the shoulder. He falls to the ground and clutches his bullet wound. He looks over and sees the two hunters who are working with the Sheriff and the Principal.

At that moment, Hailey, Johnny, and Trixie run back into the library, worried about Jacob. They see him on the ground bleeding and rush to his side.

"Are you ok?" Hailey asks.

"Yeah, it's just a flesh wound." Jacob says, trying to get up.

As he does, he cringes in pain and falls back to the ground. He lifts his hand and reveals his wound is glowing blue.

"It's glowing. Is it supposed to be glowing? Why is it glowing? How is it glowing?" Johnny asks erratically.

"Who are these guys, Jacob?" Trixie asks.

Jacob hesitates for a moment, then tells him.

"Danny and Jessica Argent. Apart of the most dangerous family of werewolf hunters."
