CHAPTER 10 THE UPCOMING FESTIVAL

Alfie is still in the living room because he is thinking about what is good to do in his altea coffee shop but he can't focus on his thoughts because the woman he saw is obsessed with his thoughts.

So he got up from lying on the sofa and opened his social media to entertain his mind and eyesight because he always had in mind the face of the girl he saw.

When alfie just opened it, he saw in his father's post on his page BALINAO FESTIVAL the letter he read.

"When is it?" Alfie asked himself because he was suddenly excited about the said festival to be held.

"Sir, your juice" merna said to him.

"All right, please just put it there." He said and it was still staring at his cellphone.

"What are you reading sir" merna asked him which stirred his mind.

"Manang, there will be a party here" he said to merna.

"That looks fun sir" said merna.

"Of course it's really fun, all the people here will attend" said alfie and the girl he saw entered him.

"Oh hey sir just call me first if you need anything" said merna.

"Okay manang" he said to merna who while he was still on the cellphone he was still focused on his eyes.

He stood up and looked for his father to clarify what the right day of the fiesta was.

His father is the mayor of Balinao and his mother is the Governor of the city.

He had not yet gone far to his father's office but he saw his grandmother watering her favorite plants.

"Grandma, why are you doing that, you might get tired of that" he reminded his grandmother.

Then he took hold of this water pipe and he continued what his grandmother was doing.

"I'm the grandson, then I'm with manang belen" said her grandmother then belen came.

"Señorito I'm here in that" then he took the water pipe he was holding and it was he who continued to water the plant.

"Grandpa, just go where you're going, we'll do something else here" said his grandmother.

"Asrah do you think that suits me?" SHe asked her friend while looking at the clothes she wanted to wear.

"Are you sure?" She was playing with a friend.

"No best, you and I used to be the one to perform now" She said and returned to the closet what she was going to wear for the Fiesta.

"Best, I'm going to university so I can register for the up coming cheer dance" a friend reminded her.

"I support you best" she said to her friend because her sports are volleyball and chest while her friend is good at dancing.

"Best company me" said asrah.

"I'll say goodbye first if mom agrees" she said to her friend.

"Okay best do you know I want to find an apartment so we can avail" said asrah.

"That's a good idea best, I'll also look for an apartment next to each other" then it caught her friend's attention.

"Let's go downstairs so I can say goodbye to my mother" She said to her friend and they went downstairs so they could say goodbye to her mother.

And when they got down she saw her mother preparing their lunch.

"Looks like you're in a hurry?" The mother asked.

"Mommy, can I go with asrah. She's going to school so she can find an apartment" She explained to her mother.

"Yes, auntie, so that Shania and I can choose a nice apartment." Asrah added to what she said to her mother.

"But eat first" said her mother which shania was glad to hear from her mother.

"Yes, thank you" she said then hugged her mother.

Meanwhile, Asrah joined them in their embrace.

"Thank you aunt, I'm sure shania and I can find an apartment next door" said asrah who made her mother smile.

"All right, let's sit down" said her mother as she was preparing their lunch.
