Be a Good Master and Cultivate!

"18, 24, 15, 34… How come all the genius disciples are all below the minimum?" Fu Yang commented as he looked through all the results from his Aptitude Seeking Mirror. A year ago he discovered a Mystic Realm and became the inheritor. Together with his discovery, he found a cultivation book that could help him reach the Emperor Realm. Unlike other cultivation books that needed swords, vast energy, intelligence, etc. His Cultivation book needed him to find disciples. However, the minimum threshold was 70 of Aptitude Value from the Aptitude Seeking Mirror. Although the Cultivation Book gave him a chance to soar, he remained stuck at the First Nascent Realm since the time he discovered the Mystic Realm. "Now, it seems like I can't resume cultivating without getting myself a disciple first." _____ Hello, guys! I am the author of this novel, Shateralyn! Even before the sun rose up in the sky, Fu Yang already changed his pajamas to his Light Blue Sports Attire.

He used his amplified voice in order to wake his disciples and son up.

"Wake up! Today we will formally start training!"

Yu Feng was the first one to come out from his room with his sport attire adorned with intricate red and gold motifs. Having been informed of upcoming training session by his master during dinner, he had risen earlier than the rest.

Seeing his master in the living room, he greeted him politely.

The two stood in the living room while waiting for the others.

Soon after, Fu Cheng came out with his Violet sports attire.

Now, Shi Wen was the only one missing. Knowing that Shi Wen wasn't going to wake up any sooner, Fu Yang ordered Yu Feng to wake him up.

Following his master's order, Yu Feng entered Shi Wen's room. As soon as he came in, he saw the angelic sleeping face of Shi Wen.

Yu Feng approached Shi Wen and carefully extended his arms towards him in order to shake him to wake up.

Disturb from his sleep, Shi Wen slowly opened his heavy eyes in order to know who the culprit was.

Seeing his Senior Brother, Shi Wen was startled awake.

"Senior Brother?! Why are you here?"

Looking at Shi Wen all surprised, Yu Feng was sure that he forgot what their master's words was yesterday.

"Have you forgotten what master said yesterday?"

Being reminded by his Senior Brother, Shi Wen lightly slapped his forehead and stood up from his bed in order to change his pajamas to a sport attire.

Yu Feng helped Shi Wen change his clothes seeing that he put his pants inside out.

"Sorry to trouble you, Senior Brother."

Having troubled his senior brother, Shi Wen couldn't help himself but immediately say sorry out of habit.

"You don't need to apologize. When you are troubled, you can say it to me and I will help you."

After Shi Wen finished changing, the two of them went out of Shi Wen's room and arrived at the living room.

"I'm sorry Master, I overslept."

Hearing Shi Wen's words, Fu Yang can't help but sigh.

'This child likes to apologize too much.'

When his two disciples and son are now finally here, Fu Yang started explaining what they would be doing for today's training.

"First, you should focus on developing the body. Specially for the two of you, Fu Cheng and Shi Wen. Before starting the journey of cultivation, you need a very strong body. So for the next month, wake up early and jog the whole Elder's Subdivision."

Hearing his father's explanation, Fu Cheng clenched his fist. Finally, he will now be able to start cultivating.

He will prove to his father that he didn't make a wrong choice by accepting him. He will make sure that his father will not abandon him just because he was a trash.

However...

The reality was too harsh. After jogging on a few street, fatigue started to consume his whole being.

His will was strong, but his body can't keep up with him. Every step became a test of endurance, each breath a desperate attempt to replenish his dwindling reserves of energy.

His earlier light body, become a baggage too heavy to drag.

He persisted in his jog, knowing that to abandon it right now would only result in disappointing his father.

But not long after, his ears shut and his sight black out. As his body couldn't persist the fatigue anymore, he fainted.

Looking at the passed out Fu Cheng, Fu Yang looked at his Energy Phone and recorded Fu Cheng's information.

"It's seems like his limit is at 5km. Sigh, my son you really need to train your stamina and endurance."

He lifted Fu Cheng and lay him in an open lawn of an Elder's house.

Settling himself beside his son, he patiently awaited for the arrival of their other two companions.

As Shi Wen's legs were smaller than Fu Cheng's, he had Yu Feng follow him so he will not be left behind.

It wasn't long before he spotted the shadowy figure of Yu Feng carrying Shi Wen.

"Master, Shi Wen passed out at 2.3km."

Upon hearing this information, Fu Yang promptly recorded it in his Energy Phone.

"Hmm... These two really need to train their body otherwise they would not be able to start cultivating at all."

Yu Feng nodded in agreement, recognizing the wisdom in his master's words. Developing one's physical body before embarking on the path of cultivation served as the most solid foundation for any aspiring cultivator.

Relying on tonic to strengthen the body, will just bring down the quality of one's strength in the future.

More importantly, their body are in a stage where receiving training is appropriate already.

Shi Wen is 9 years and Fu Cheng is 14 years old, their age are just right to receive physical training before Body Cultivation.

"While waiting for the two to wake up, let's start your training. As you are in the Early stage of Foundation Realm, you need enlightenment and training. For now, show me one of your skill."

Finally, the moment arrived for his own training. His sole motivation for joining the Heavenly Cosmic Sect was to receive guidance from a genuine cultivator.

"Master, since I possess no personal skills as of yet, I shall present to you something I acquired from the internet: Fist Basic Skill."

After explaining where his skill came from, Yu Feng started showcasing his Fist skill to his master. He tried his best to match his hand movements from what he remembered from his cultivation book.

With a single sweeping motion, his fist landed its strike.

Upon completing his movement, he eagerly turned his gaze towards his master, awaiting a reaction. However, what he encountered were disappointed eyes.

"Yu Feng... It's seems like you didn't grasp the profoundness of the skill. You looked like someone mechanically replicating someone before you."

Hearing the harsh comment from his master, Yu Feng couldn't help but cast his eyes downward. He was really ashamed.

Earlier, he had truly believed that he did well, only to realize that he looked like a monkey in front of his master.

"Yu Feng look at me. Let me demonstrate the true essence of the skill you just showed me."

In stark contrast to Yu Feng's earlier movements, Fu Yang's strike contained strength and grace. It didn't look messy and each strike were on point.

"And that's how you do it. Now try it. Don't just blindly remember my moves and copy it. You also need to put some power behind it."

Following his master's advice, he tried the same movements but this time he didn't seek a perfect replication of the movements. This time he tried unleashing his strength in his personal way.

"This time was good, now practice it like that until you can perfectly control your power."

"Yes master."

As Yu Feng and Fu Yang were engrossed in their own training, Fu Cheng woke up from his slumber.

He tried recalling what happened and it seemed like he fainted due to fatigue.

Hearing noise near, his attention was drawn towards the noise and there stood his father guiding Yu Feng.

Each strikes of Yu Feng become better and better. Whenever, Fu Yang some imperfections he would demonstrate it again to Yu Feng.

Seeing the sight, Fu Cheng felt some disappointment, not towards anyone but himself.

Right now, he was far too weak. He need to get his body stronger so that his father will also guide him on his cultivation like Yu Feng.

There was no time to be jealous. Becoming stronger was his main priority.

Finding a new inspiration, Fu Cheng vowed to become stronger.
