A TIP OF THE ICEBERG

Next morning at the Raven Academy,

It seemed as if all traces of their existence were erased, I couldn't find anything about them at all; even when I asked the guys who are always trying to curry favor from him, Nothing. I wished and hoped that it was only the result of the doctors' medical report of me being exhausted both mentally and physically, that caused hallucinations but a part of me believed that it all happened.

A week later, all that occurred seemed to be nothing but a bad dream because all through that week I was able to check and question every person who mingled with Michaels and his goons, but all I got was nothing.

I decided to search about what Michaels and his goons were using the information I got after killing them, the only information I was able to get off the internet was vague descriptions of monsters like them being mentioned in Texts of old, Archeological sites where they found ruins and very vague links to something about them being demons who served a great and mysterious evil being nothing more.

I kept thinking about what he meant by "Me and My kind" so I searched for what these demons hated, hunted and love doing but instead all I got was information on the gods of old and more myths and legends which only fueled my curiosity.

I decided to search deeper and I found it, information on the gods, demigods, demons, worshippers of the dark evil being all demons served, rituals and other scary things. I was starting to freak out a part of me thought it was better to stop searching more about this but another side of me wanted to find out more and learn the truth hidden in the words "My kind".

The first thing I saw was a quick overview and story of the gods:

The first was the creator of the universe "Dienendra" also known as the "Sky father" the most powerful god.

The divine mother "Queen Itsaso" mother of the sea who was married to "Aedus" the creator of deserts and volcanoes, the scorcher of lands.

The god "Rai" son of "Aedus and Queen Itsaso" controller of fire and lightning called the "Thunder god".

The goddess Aeriona the goddess of love and beauty, with beauty that became downfall of mortal men and destroyed kingdoms and empires.

"Aeldra" the lord of the forest, and healer, "Alvar" the seer of destiny guardian of the sacred history, "Sindile" god of ailment and diseases, Healer of all Diseases. "Adio" the god of Moral uprightness, said to always be clothed in white. "Chayce" the Lord of The Hunt, Hunter of hunters, scout of the gods, avenger of the accused and those seeking justice.

"Travaris" the god of crossroads, messenger of the gods, the trickster. "Aira" goddess of wind, sudden change and the most powerful sorceress, "Oba" the goddess of marriage, daughter of "Queen Itsaso" who was married to "Rai".

"Cathair" the medical physician to the gods, the god of physical health. "Azmera" the god of Harvest and agriculture. "Apace" the god of Direct movement.

The more I read on the gods and their mortal descendants the demigods the more I felt something stirring inside me I just couldn't stop. I read more diving deeper before suddenly pulled into a shroud of darkness.

Scared, i just discovered that all I knew was but a tip of the iceberg...
