When there is only a few minutes left until 10 pm, Vann has already shut down his computer and was already lying down on his bed with the helmet on his head.

As he turned it on, the sound of the helmet booting up echoed in his ears and a few seconds later a robotic voice said to him.

"Vann Roster." Vann calmly told his real name without much of an issue as he knew it was set up by Maxima for security and legal reasons.

[Looking up Vann Roster. Vann Roster identified.]

[Scanning user's body. Scan complete. Vann Roster has been registered.]

[Battle for Supremacy's servers is not open yet. Time remaining: 8:55 seconds.]

[Would you like to go in now and wait for the servers to open inside the waiting room?]

"Yes." Vann said as he wanted to test if the 100% integration rate is real just like what Maxima stated before the game starts.

[Affirmative. Integrating user into the virtual world.]

The moment Vann heard that, a sudden wave of sleepiness hits him making him fall asleep. A few seconds later he woke up feeling back to normal.

When his eyes opened, he saw that he was currently inside a simple white room with the basic things like a couch and a table. While looking around the room, he heard the robotic voice again.

[Welcome user to the waiting room. Please wait patiently for the servers to open. In the meantime, you can access the Internet by bringing up the menu.]

[Tine remaining: 7:12 seconds.]

After listening to the voice, Vann turned his attention to himself, making random movements or striking weird poses with his entire body.

In just a few seconds, his eyebrows shot up in surprise while muttering in amazement. "It's true. It really is 100%."

A smile full of excitement appeared on his face when he found out that he was feeling completely normal, like as if he was currently in the real world and not inside a virtual one.

Previouly, all the VR games that he played gives him the feeling of slight discomfort and disconnection from his body. Even in the case of VR games that have 99% integration rate, that feeling still remains even if it was miniscule.

But now there is totally none of that, which proved that Maxima has indeed achieved the concept of a real second world.

With his curiosity appeased, Vann goes inside the forum website for BFS and passed time reading comments of other people. Most of them are in amazement as well as they talked about how realistic the virtual world of BFS is.

Time passed quickly until the moment has finally come.

"Yes." Vann replied in excitement.

[Affirmative. Connecting user to Battle for Supremacy.]

Vann disappeared from the room and shortly after, he appeared in a grand white hall. He immediately saw 8 big statues arranged in a circle in the middle of the hall. Each statues depicts what seems to be the main classes in the game.

As Vann continued to look around, he saw nothing else in the grand hall aside from those statues so he walked closer until he reached the center of the formation of statues.

The moment he got there, light suddely shined down from above the hall. Upon looking up, he saw a beautiful angel with long white hair and silver eyes, her body covered in a long white gown and there are 3 pair of wings made up of glowing white feathers on her back.

'What a grandiose entrance. And there's fan service, as expected of Maxima.' Vann commented in his head, already used to how Maxima designs their games after playing multiple games of theirs.

Still he didn't hate it. In fact, he liked it since after all he was a man and what kind of man would he be if he hated seeing beautiful girls. But of course, he wouldn't admit that, not even in his mind.

As soon as the angel touched the ground, she said with a poker face. "Welcome otherworlder, to our world we call as Myriad Realm. I am Rachel and I will be your guide to help you in the beginning of your journey in our world. Before we start, may I know your name?"

At the same time that she finished her words, Vann heard a system notification in his ears and a blue screen appearing in front of him.

Without thinking too much, Vann decided to stick to a name that he uses most of the time for his IGNs. "Vex."

Rachel waved her hand as a blue screen appeared in front of Vann, showing his current appearance that reflects his real self.

After thinking for a moment, Vann decided to change his face but not his body. After changing his face, he still has average looks, the kind that can easily be forgotten but is somewhat different from his real appearance so others won't easily know his real identify.

"Well then, let us move on to picking your basic class. There are 8 basic classes as you can see by the statues in this hall. Please take your time picking." Rachel said as another screen appeared before Vann.

Vann looked at the classes presented to him in deep thought.

Defender - the most toughest and resilient of all the class. Specializes in taking damage and controlling the enemies.

Fighter - the class with good defense and a powerful offence. Specializes in constant dps and a high chance of survival.

Assassin - the fastest and deadliest of all. Specializes in dealing burst damage and killing enemies in a short time.

Ranger - the class that has the sharpest eye and powerful ranged attacks. Specializes in scouting and dealing damages from afar.

Mage - the class with the highest firepower. Specializes in dealing massive damage to multiple enemies from afar.

Summoner - the commander of the battlefield. Specializes in controlling multiple creatures to fight.

Enchanter - the class with a good offence and great controlling abilities. Specializes in buffing allies and debuffing enemies.

Healer - the lifelines in the battlefield. Specializes in keeping their allies alive by giving heals and shields.
