Chapter 6: Weapons Acquired

When Knox woke up at 5 am he did his daily routine and workout for a few hours along the way Morgan join.

After that, he check his status, and sure enough, everything that has to do with physical all went up by one but it seems that it can only go up by one.

I don't know if it has to do with limited workout equipment or it has a limit on how much it can go for a day but for now, I have to wait for the system to wake up before I could get an answer there are only 7 days till then.

Knox sighed and took out a few canned food it was a beef ready-to-eat canned food.

He gave 2 cans to Morgan's family and 1 for himself.

"You better eat up I don't want you running out there tired and hungry not with my life on the line," Knox said after giving the food to Morgan.

Morgan thanked him and he also knew that it is a bad idea to go running around with nothing in his stomach.

"We will leave in 30 minutes, we can't waste the daylight and we also need to pack up soon to leave this city before the night comes," Knox said.

Morgan ate fast and readily talked to his worried family but he assure them that he will be back.

"You ready?" Knox asked and Morgan nodded.

"Here give this shotgun to your wife and remember to tell them to let no one inside," Knox said solemnly and gave the shotgun to Morgan who then gave it to his wife.

"Remember Jenny let no one inside nobody, not even a child," Morgan said.

"I understand Morgan I know I won't let anybody in I can't risk it, for our children," Jenny said while holding her belly.

"I know it's cruel but we have to do this to survive," Morgan said while hugging them Morgan follow Knox on the roof.

"So what do you think," Knox said while looking at 50 or so scattered Walkers.

"You are right we can only stay for today it seems like the walkers are going outside the city luckily this store is on the outskirts of the city," Morgan said.

Knox nodded and hand Morgan a knife.

"We will go as planned, first we go to the pawnshop and look for guns make our way to the gun shop, and get a car to carry the loots, and if we have the time or the weapons to spare we make our way to the gun show."

Knox said and look at Morgan who then nodded.

"First we need to gear up," Knox said and took a lot of magazines and duck tapes out of his backpack.

"Wrap them tightly and make sure it is thick enough," Knox said and also put it on.

Although he is strong enough and is pretty sure that a Walker can't bite through his skin it is still safe to be more vigilant.

Knox left his backpack on the roof and get an empty sports bag in his inventory while Morgan was going down the side ladder.

All that he carries is an Axe a few water bottles and two empty sports bags.

After Morgan got down he immediately attracted 2 Walkers.

Morgan took his knife and kick one Walker and go for the head and quickly dispose of the other one.

"Not bad, at least better than yesterday," Knox said and smiled.

"Yeah but I think that this knife is a bit short," Morgan chuckled.

"We need to lessen the walkers in front but we also need to leave a few of them just to repel living people to go near the store," Knox said.

They started to attack a smaller group of Walkers and leave about 10 of them near the store.

It didn't take long Knox killed about 38 and Morgan killed 11 or so.

Finally, they start to make their way to the pawnshop which was not too far a few blocks away from the shop.

Killing Walkers on the way Morgan starts to adapt and efficiently dispose of the Walkers.

They made a few stops and saw a pharmacy Morgan asked if they could stop by and get a pregnancy test and Knox agreed.

Because he also saw that next to the pharmacy theirs a gym

While clearing the pharmacy Knox didn't forget to touch every medicine to put them in the inventory after they were done and left the store.

Knox said that he will watch the outside while Morgan searched for the things he need and a few vitamins.

Knox went to the gym and quickly get all the machines everything went into his inventory and went back to the pharmacy.

"You got everything?" Knox asked Morgan.

"Yeah I got as many as I can," Morgan said.

"Well let's continue the pawnshop is not far from here," Knox said

after a while, Knox and Morgan finally rich the pawnshop.

"It's not much but they are all grouped so will have to do it fast or other Walkers will be attracted," Knox said to Morgan.

"Ready?" Knox asked.

Morgan nodded

Knox holds his Axe Tightly while Focusing on the furthers Walker.

He finally saw a group of 3

Knox ran fast into a Walker in an instant beheading 3 in the blink of seconds.

Morgan who was behind was stunned and quickly killed one.

After Knox beheaded the 3 Walkers the others were alerted.

Without the delay, all the idle Walkers came at Knox and Morgan.

Knox didn't hesitate and lunge at the Walkers killing one after another Morgan who was by Knox's side was killing the Walkers too but in much fewer numbers than Knox.

After a while of hacking and slashing the Walkers finally there are a few more left.

Getting it done Morgan was very tired and was breathing heavily but Knox seems like he didn't take much effort and was not sweating at all.

In total Knox killed 74 and Morgan manage to kill 24

"Damn, Knox how are you not tired you killed more than 3 times of what I killed," Morgan said while breathing heavily.

"You need to do more exercise man cardio is the key," Knox said while handing a bottle of water to Morgan.

"Take your time I will open this pawnshop and watch outside while I clear the inside," Knox said.

But Knox knows that there's no one inside because of the map and he just wants to limit the Guns and ammo so he can put it on his inventory.

Knox reaches into his bag while taking out a bolt cutter from his inventory.

Cutting the locks and opening the door Knox saw a lot of useful things on the wall there were a few guns.

A 35m rifle, a Blaser R8, an AR-15, an AR-18, and on the cashier desk you can see a bunch of pistols.

Knox looked at the other side of the wall there he saw a lot of melee weapons.

You can see a lot of middle ages weapons like Morningstar and such and also a spear.

After putting some guns and melee in the inventory and putting a sharp katana by his side he called Morgan. (image in the comments.)

PS: After they got out of the city they will have a time to skip just a few days and I don't know if I should put the 1st female lead in the next chapter or not thoughts on the main comments let me know what you think.
