Chapter 51

Amanda didn't try to push him.

'Is this what he wants?' She thought.

It's not her first time kissing someone before.

Edmund had kissed her one time.

But it never felt as comfortable as this one.

Chase didn't even try to do anything.

Guess he knows how to respect someone's morals.

Unlike any other guy she knew.

They both collapsed on the sofa with Chase on top.

They continued for minutes and paused for moments to catch their breath.

Chase stopped, breathing hard.

Amanda gasped.

They stared down at each other then Amanda looked away.

Chase got up and helped Amanda to her feet.

"About my reward, I'll think about it." Chase winked,

"Yeah, just remember what I said." Amanda shrugged.

"So, are you in for dinner tonight?" Chase asked,

"I guess so." Amanda stood up.

"I'll be at your house at 6 pm." Chase put on his coat,

"Don't bother, I'll wait at the nearest subway." Amanda went for the door.

"Bye." She smiled and left.

Chase slumped back down on the couch.

He thought about what he would wear tonight.

Then his phone rang.

"Chase! It's me. Listen, do you want to go out to dinner with me? I'll handle the check." Francesca said on the phone,

"No." Chase replied flatly and hung up.

His phone began to ring again.

He hung up without hesitation.

But it stubbornly began to ring every time he hung up.

So he blocked Francesca's number and the ringing stopped.

He remembered something and began to dial Kishley's number.

"Yes, cousin. I hope it's not the elephant in the room. I'm not in the mood right now." Kishley groaned,

"Kish, please inform the guards and the employees that Francesca Smith is not allowed to enter any property of mine. It won't be a big deal for you."

"I hope so!"
