CHAPTER THREE

 "Paige please, I am sorry!"

Leon said trying to reach Paige as she walked to her elevator.

"Please stop following me Leon…I am not in the mood and everyone is staring at us."

She said pressing the elevator.

"Then forgive me and I will stop following you around."

He pleaded. 

"If I do will you leave me alone?"

She asked and Leon nodded.

"Okay I forgive you…now leave me alone."

She said waking in the elevator and pressed the ground floor. When she got there, a man who she dreaded to meet stood at the glass doors with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"Not again!"

She said to herself as she walked toward the receptionist.

"I am heading out Miss Beatty have a nice day."

She said smiling.

"You to madam, see you tomorrow."

She smiled back and Paige walked towards the man.

"Aidan! To what do I owe this pleasure?"

She asked with a fake smile.

"Paige! How are you?"

He asked all smiley, one of the things Paige hated about him. Although Aidan was a rich handsome tall man that everyone seemed to be flustered about, Paige didn't like him for her own personal reasons.

"I was doing just fine before I saw you face."

She said returning the smile with a fake smile. He laughed aloud.

"You always like joking around."

He said.

"I wish I was Aidan, I wish I was."

She said looking at him intensively. He smile still stayed plastered on his face.

"So why are you here?"

She asked more seriously than she was before.

"I came to take you out"

He said and Paige smiled.

"I can't today…I am going home and I am sure my brother is waiting for me."

She said walking out.

"Paige! Why are you always like this?"

Paige stopped and turned.

"Why is everyone today asking me the same damn question?"

She asked as she saw Leon walking towards them. He stopped and looked at Aidan before looking at Paige. He greeted Aidan and with a smile he greeted back.

"You know what? Stop coming here okay…I no longer want to see you face….and for your information I will never change so stop forcing me to do it…I am not interested! And I am fine with the way I am so if you can't deal with it the door is always open!"

She said opening the door and slammed it behind her. She was so tired of everything.
