CHAPTER FIVE

The next day Amy walked in with her uniform still on rushing into room Paige was.

"P! You are fine…I was so scared you were dead when you didn't pick my phone to come to the party."

Paige looked at her friend. This was all so new to her she had to process.

"Which party?"

She asked confused.

"You were supposed to meet me at Vin Coffee Shop so we can go to Mark's party…don't you remember?"

Paige shock her head.

"Don't say you forgot your crushes' party…you had been waiting for this party for like forever…you wanted to confess to him."

Paige looked at her shocked. She couldn't recall a time in her past when she had a crush on Mark.

"Mark? Mark Miller? "

Amy nodded smiling.

"I have a crush on Mark Miller?"

Amy stopped smiling.

"What do you mean? You have been talking about him he transferred from our school last semester."

Paige looked at Amy with a questioning expression.

"That can't be true…that boy is not even handsome, how can I have a crush on such a boy?"

Amy couldn't contain her shocked face.

"You're kidding right?"

Amy asked.

"Definitely not! I would never fall for such a face, what are you talking about."

It was now Amy's turn to be confused. Who was this girl? Where was her friend?

"The accident must have done something to your brain."

She said in a whispering tone.

"I heard you Amy."

She said calmly and Amy looked up at her.

"What?"

Amy asked trying to recall something.

"What did you just say?"

She asked again.

"I heard you?"

Amy nodded.

"You have told me that again…I just can't recall when."

She said trying to recall.

"In the office yesterday afternoon when you came to visit."

Paige said to herself but Amy didn't hear what she said.
