First Travel

The moment Black walked through the portal he was greeted by the familiar sight of an empty void, now that he understood what was happening he got comfortable.

Suddenly, he was caught off guard by a beeping sound that resounded in his head. 

-Beep!

[The host has initiated world travel, does the host wish to start from the beginning? 

Warning: Stats and levels will be set to when the host was level 1 while Oaths, Abilities, and Race will be sealed until the host returns to his world or drinks a vial of his own blood. However, certain titles and cards will remain.]

Black read the window with a bit of contemplation. "Start from the beginning? Are there any benefits?" Black asked.

[Answer:

Affirmative, if the host chooses to start from the beginning a chain of quests would be initiated, aligning with the host's desire and containing various rewards.

This will as well cause fewer problems for the development of the host.

Example: Host chooses to save the people, a quest involving saving lives would begin.]

"So this would be more beneficial in the long run." Black muttered.

[Affirmative.]

Black already had his answer, the thought of losing progress and his race bothered him a bit but he wasn't truly losing them, and he would be rewarded in the end anyway. It was more efficient.

Though, what truly gained Black's attention was the detail of his blood. "Explain what you mean by drinking blood."

[Answer: 

The host is advised to think of it as character slots. Whenever the host travels to a world, he has the option to start anew which leads to the creation of a slot. When the host leaves said world, the slot belonging to it will be sealed until return.

However, taking blood from slot #1 then drinking it on slot #2 will temporarily give slot #2 the strength and abilities of #1 for a certain amount of time depending on the amount of blood taken.

Example: If the host made a new slot in another world and then left, that slot would be sealed until the host returns or drink a vial of that slot's blood. When the host returns to said world, the host would automatically use the slot belonging to it.

The host is also able to temporarily combine slots by creating a mixture of their blood.]

Remembering the fact he had given Kari some of his blood Black went quiet. Sensing Black's distress, the system brought up another window.

[The host is advised not to worry, the host's blood is useless for other beings.]

Black closed his eyes along with the system windows. "Guess I'll start from scratch." 

The moment Black's words fell, the void around him shattered and he found himself at the back of an empty cave looking towards its entrance, roars ringing out in the distance.

[The host has entered Bleach, please enjoy your stay.

Warning: World Travel has been deactivated until the host obtains the World Exit Key or survives 6 months, good luck.]

Upon reading the message, Black was left confused, but given his situation, he didn't have much time to dig further into it. Black looked towards his chest and saw a chain connected to his heart. 

Grimacing, Black grabbed onto the chain and took a deep breath. He knew he couldn't waste any time, he was currently in Hueco Mundo or to be exact, the Menos Forest.

He knew by now some hollows must've sensed him and was most likely on their way, and after what the system had told him he knew there was no backing out either.

However, he didn't panic, he remained calm. 'This is the first step.' Black repeated these words to himself mentally, gripping the chain in his hands harder.

With all his strength, Black began to pull causing a rush of pain to run throughout his body. He felt as if he was tearing his own heart out, but he continued to pull.

"AHHHHHH!"

-Crack!

The chain broke, and soon a wave of negative emotions hit Black replacing all of the pain he felt, memories flashing through his mind.

The death of his parents, his adoptive parents abandoning him, the countless years of working shady jobs that left him feeling empty, and lastly leaving his sister behind.

Everything he felt during those times hit him all at once.

Without any warning, Black's body began to glow and his cries grew quiet. Before he could regain himself, he exploded causing a cloud of dust to fill the cave.

When the dust settled a dark sphere was floating in Black's place, a headless black figure with a hole in its chest resembling a rabbit forming around it until Black's head appeared, his mouth gaping open.

A white substance then shot out of his mouth and wrapped itself around his face, forming a rabbit-like mask with fangs.

Black punched the cave's floor being hit by an insatiable hunger. He felt as if his mind was corroding, but he was able to steadily push it back.

[Quest initiated!]

Black ignored the notifications and made his way out of the cave, even though he was now a hollow he still wasn't in the clear.

The first thing he saw exiting the cave were countless towering silver trees that pierced the thick layer of sand replacing the sky. The layer of sand had multiple holes in it allowing light to flow in.

Noticing that none of the hollows had arrived, Black started moving in a random direction hoping for the best.

Black could be seen resting against a small tree releasing a tired breath. Now that he was out of danger he had the time to think.

'System, why do I have to stay here for six months? This didn't happen when I entered Bell's room.' Asked Black.

[Answer: 

Whenever the host chooses to start from the beginning the ability World Travel would be set on cooldown for 6 months or until the host obtains the World Exit Key.

When the host was sent to Hydra Bell's room it was due to the ability, World Travel, awakening. 

This had caused a forced travel not initiated by the host, leaving the host without the choice to create a new slot and able to leave whenever he desired.

When the host obtains the World Exit Key, he would be able to enter and leave said world whenever he wishes.]

"I see, so the key is important..bring up the notifications from before, I didn't have time to read them." Said Black.

"That's not that bad." Said Black after reading the windows, the only thing that disturbed him slightly was the fact he couldn't obtain chests from killing or cards from leveling, though that was only slightly.

"What are soul points and weren't I able to level from eating before?" Black asked.

[Answer:

Soul Points are currency to buy items and abilities of Bleach from the shop.

The ability, Devour, the host speaks of only gives a small amount of xp while this will cause a complete level up depending on the number of hollows eaten, allowing the host to place the remaining investment points into whatever stat he wishes.]

After reading the window Black decided to look at the shop; it was one of the things that truly caught his attention seeing it had been updated.

The familiar sight of a purple window containing items appeared, though different from before there was now a tab called 'Racial Abilities'.

Black opened the tab causing 3 black cards with skulls in the background of them to appear. 

[Racial Abilities:

[Regeneration II:

Allows the host to regenerate far faster than the average hollow. ( -100 Soul Points)

Claws: 

The host gains the ability to grow sharp claws. ( -100 Soul Points)

Poisonous Claws:

The host is able to lace his claws with a poison that momentarily paralyzes and corrodes the target. ( -250 Soul Points)]

"I'm broke." Black said flatly.

"How can I earn points?" Black asked, to his question a window appeared containing a list of shinigami and hollows.

[Low Ranked Hollows and Shinigami = 50 Soul Points.

Menos Grande = 350 Soul Points.

Adjucha 1,500 = Soul Points | Shinigami Lieutenant = 3,000 Soul Points

Shinigami Captain = 10,000 Soul Points | Vasto Lorde = 25,000.]

Black closed the notifications when he was done reading them and then opened his inventory to see if his stuff was still there, however they were gone.

"System, where did they go?" Black asked.

[Answer:

When the host chose to start from the beginning, his items were stored and sealed as well. The host is advised to put the items he wishes to keep in the system bank to transfer them.]

"Why wasn't I notified of the bank?" 

[I'm sorry host, the host's never asked.]

Black released a sigh reading the notification. "Don't worry, now how do I check my abilities?"

[Answer:

To view abilities and cards a campfire is required.]

"I see, thank y-."  Before Black could finish his sentence, he quickly shifted his head to the right.

-Bang!

A long black hand with sharp claws broke through the tree, causing it to fall over. Where the tree once stood was a hollow around Black's size with a rat mask on its face.

[Hollow: Level 5]

'Looks like my all seeing eyes of god are still here.' 

"ROARRRR!" 

The hollow roared then rushed blindly towards Black, its movements unrefined and animalistic.

'You'll be the first..here I thought I was done with using my legs.' Black thought, lifting his right leg and taking a stance, something he remembered seeing from a certain monkey king.

When the hollow entered his range Black released a quick kick to the hollow's neck at the very last second. 

The hollow started to panic realizing it was barely able to keep up with Black's movements, but it dodged just in time on instinct and pure luck.

Instead of pulling his leg back and preparing for another kick, Black hooked his leg around the hollow's neck and brought it down towards the ground using all of his strength.

-Bang!

The hollow crashed face first into the ground causing a small bang to resound through the area. Before it could stand back up Black lifted his leg then stomped the hollow's head further into the ground leaving the hollow motionless.

Black then lifted the hollow and ripped its limbs off causing the motionless hollow in his grasp to thrash around. Once the hollow was limbless, Black began to feast.
