Enters the Dragon of Destruction

With not much of choice, Grandeeney opened her wings and started to fly. Shun jumped onto her back with Wilson in his arms, and they left the angry Zeref behind as his magic continued to go berserk and kill the life on that island.

"Isn't it bad to leave him like that? You both looked close."

"Naah. Zeref has seen worse days. Anyway, change the direction to the right. I think that was the original direction in which Igneel flew in. You should know where he was going, right? I will heal you after we get some distance away from this island and Fiore."

"Very well… I also wish to know all that has happened. And what has my little daughter been doing in these years."

"Hmm… I wouldn't really indulge in the wishes stated by a Dragon, but since Wendy adores you so much and the same seems to be true for you, I suppose I don't need to be worried about you ever being on the opposing end of her or me."

There was no need for him to elaborate. Grandeeney knew what he meant. The Dragons naturally held some contempt for the humans.

That was one of the reasons that the Dragons were split into two categories. Ones that didn't wish to hurt humans and ones that wanted nothing but the destruction of humans or toy them to death.

It took Shun nearly 2-3 hours to completely heal her and send her off with the explanation of how much he knew from what Igneel told him and what he wanted her to do.

After noting that it wasn't something that would harm Wendy and others, she decided to nod. She was a little fearful right now, her pride prevented her from showing this to Shun.

As she continued to fly alone, she had a strange feeling as if Acnologia was nearing her by the minute. She tried to shake off the feeling but soon enough, her eyes widened in surprise.

All her senses screamed at her to fly fast. Faster than ever done before. She knew it was coming.

Acnologia was coming!

He knew she was here!

How he knew that she will never know. Was she letting off more of her presence than she thought? Did it have more exaggerated senses than the pure Dragons? Or was it just it's the determination which took him to a Dragon.

She shook her head as a bitter smile appeared onto her face. Now wasn't the time for these useless questions to look in her mind.

She used the Wind Magic to boost her speed as much as possible. Due to her strong Wind Magic, Shun could sense her coming towards his direction from far away and wondered 'Didn't we split up just now? Does she want to ask me anything more?'

Suddenly, his eyes widened in shock as he sensed another darker power behind Grandeeney.

"What the heck is that thing!?" His shout surprised Wilson.

Wilson tugged his trousers and asked him, "What are you doing about? What happened? I can't really see anything in that direction."

Shun had half a mind to turn around and run away. While his other half of mind told him to stay, if he ran away, Grandeeney would be killed.

Wendy wouldn't be happy about that.

"If that thing is Acnologia, I now understand just how much I have been underestimating it. Igneel really stands no chance against that thing. And what the heck is it? A moving void!? Even Zagnivol didn't have such weird magic. It's like it will swallow everything around it."

"Will the Azure Flames even work on that thing?"

Wilson remained confused about what he was talking about and just thought 'He is going crazy...'

Soon enough, Grandeeney was visible to them. Shun didn't make any movement as he continued to stare in that direction.

His eyesight was a lot better than Wilson's vision. He could see it. The thing following Grandeeney.

Just like how Shun had caught sight of Acnologia. Acnologia also caught sight of Shun with his sharp senses.

He narrowed his eyes as he didn't understand why, but a strange excitement started bubbling within him. From what he could sense, this human was a Dragon Slayer. His enemy!

A feral grin broke out on his face as he switched his target from Grandeeney to Shun.

From what he could sense, this boy was more of a threat than Grandeeney. He could always kill this Dragon later. First was to eliminate this threat.

Shun switches his targets from Acnologia to Grandeeney and says to her, "Go take a detour and get to Igneel's position. I will hold Acnologia here."

"You want me to run!? I came back to ask for your assistance, not throw you in front of Acnologia."

"Believe me… Leave for now. Acnologia is far more powerful than I expected. I will have to use my full strength."

"Your full strength? You think you can hold off Acnologia with your own strength. Don't let your arrogance be your downfall. From what you told me, you aren't Igneel's match as well."

Acnologia was getting closer, and Shun was getting a little nervous now.

He gritted his teeth for a few seconds before his eyes flashed with a Bluish Colour. The aura around him suddenly exploded.

"Not enough… Still not enough. I need to make it even denser." He muttered to himself as the Azure Flames danced around his body.

"Azure Flame Mode: Wrath of the Dragon. 2 Times." He started releasing an incredibly dense and noble aura.

Even Grandeeney felt like her wings had lost all power as the aura touched her slightly. Shun noticed that she wasn't leaving yet.

He moved. His speed was so fast that other than Acnologia, he was just a blur for Wilson and Grandeeney. Grandeeney wasn't able to react when he got near her and kicked her towards the left direction as if she was in the way.

His kick contained such intense power that she flew far away. Soon enough, her figure was out of their sight.

Shun then focused on Acnologia who was grinning like he had found a toy.

Acnologia let out a huge and loud roar. This was its Roar attack. The signature attack of a Dragon.

Shun's eyes widened at the considerable Roar. He couldn't even dodge it since Wilson was still on this inhabited island. This Roar would certainly destroy Wilson.
