Chapter 12, Haruka's Family

When I came to, I was in my room at the shop, lying on my bed. By the scent on my body I've been washed and cleaned, probably one of the humunculi, Takeshi or Ryusei-san did it.

I smell incense burning so I can say Takeshi has been here, there's a glass of water and a pitcher filled with water on the side of my table. I feel magical powers putside, two, it's the two humunculi. There's a few more in the shop, two of which beling to Takeshi and Dahlia.

I can't move an inch, my body is completely depleted of magical energy. It might take a while, but atleast I can float and hover a bit. I might recover quicker if I made my body less dense but that would mean looking more like a ghost. But for now, I'm hungry, I'll go into the shop and have Daichi cook something.

I dispersed my body and flew out the window and entered the shop via an open window. Inside, for some reason Elias-sama, Linlin-sama, Dahlia-san and Dres-san are talking with Takeshi, Jason and the three girls. Even Fay-san is here. Priscilla-san as well, what could be the reason for so many people to gather here. Eugen-san is with them too.

Not long after I entered through the window, Aishea-san, Rosa-san and Elsha-san came in carrying what appears to be papers. Behind them, the two guards, Nana-san and Fran-san were talking with Ver-san. Why is everyone gathered I wonder.

"So, where is he?" Fray-san asked.

"Despite being a young lord, he should learn to be punctual." Linlin-san said.

Just then, a young man, about my age came into the room, he had short silver hair with silver eyes and snow white skin. He was dressed in formal clothes showing he was someone with social status. Behind him, two men followed, one was an elf, with green hair, white skin and orange eyes, he was dressed in hunter clothes. The other was a beastkin, a tiger to be exact, he had orange hair with black stripes and cat eyes that were orange with white skin. He was dressed in armor.

"Is it true?!" The young man exclaimed. "A Titan was spotted?!"

"Yes." Linlin-san answered. "A ten meter tall one. Not a purebred Titan but still a Titan nonetheless."

"How did you kill it?" The elf asked a little doubtful.

"Haruka killed it." Takeshi answered.

"That spell he used, what was it by the way?" Dres-san asked.

"Ask him yourselves, it's not my place to say." He said and I crept behind him and pushed him without him noticing and he of course moved forward. "Oi! Who pushed me?!"

"There's no one behind you." Hime-san answered. "I-is there a ghost??"

"Don't wring me out as a dead person." I answered.

"Haruka?!" They exclaimed.

"Where are you?!" Jason exclaimed.

"Right beside Takeshi. I've reverted to my original form so I can recover faster." I answered. "I told you didn't I? My body is made from magical power, if necessary I can return to being it to heal faster."

"How long have you been here?" Elsha-san asked.

"Not long." I answered as I sat down. "Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything. I'm so exhausted I had to return to my original."

"Haruka, you aren't human?" Linlin-san asked.

"Let's save that for another time. Can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Go on." Elias-san said.

"May I ask who the young man is?" I asked as I floated to the kitchen.

"Lord of this land, Klaus Grande." He answered. "The two are his bodyguards, the elf Leonard and the beastman, Trois."

"I see." I answered as I came back. "Nice to meet you."

"Why do you have a tea cup with you?" Ryusei-san asked.

"I was hungry, that was my original for coming here." I told him. "That Titan really drained all my energy. Takeshi, thanks for saving me."

"Don't mention it. If you die, we'd lise the last heirs to the Heroes' main family." He answered. "You better not do that again!!"

"What was that spell anyway Haruka?" Misa asked and I sighed.

"Well... er... how should I put this...?" I've been meaning to tell them but... it's kinda hard to phrase it. "Long story short, it's a power in our family that lets us use our clans full power."

"That's kinda lacking." Takeshi scolded me.

"Want to tell them the long story?" I asked.

"Fair enough." He answered.

"Anyways, the spell drains all our magical power causing us to be exhuasted. Usuallu, two people with opposing bloodlines would use the spell. They'd join hands to deactivate the spell thereby lessening their exhaustion. To deactivate it, two family members capable of using the spell must join hands." I answered. "But since Takeshi and I belong to somewhat related lines, the burden wasn't shared and I took the full exhaustion of it."

"What do you mean opposing lines?" Elias-san asked.

"Spirit, Human, Beaasmen, Fairy, Elven, Dragonkin and the like." I answered.

"Why don't you just tell them?" Shizuku-san asked.

"Very well." I sighed.

"Tell us what?" Veronica asked.

"My name is Haruka Morganite Tsuki, one of the heirs to the Heroes' Nation, Tsuki's Throne." I smiled and it took a while for them to swallow it.

"Ehhh?!" They all exclaimed.

"Haruka, you're royalty?!" Aishea-san asked.

"Ah there's no need to be formal. I prefer it if people close to me talk normally to me." I answered. "That's right. I'm half of the heir to the throne, my brother is the other half."

"Half?" Eugen-san asked.

"I'm made from magical power, I serve as the vessel for the true heir's magical power, memories, emotions and such." I told them. "My brother, serves as the heart, qhen the two of us meet, we recreate someone who had been lost when ge was born."

"I see... what does that have to do with your line?" Fray-san asked.

"The Heroes' Family has a large lineage, I main family and around fourteen or so major sub families." I answered. "Takeshi is part of the Spirit-Hero lineage. Born to a Hero's relative and a Spirit. Each of the major sub family line represents a race. Spirit, Elven, Giant and more."

"Haruka, you belong to the main family then?" Ver-san asked.

"Yes. Me and Haruki are the last of the Pure blood Hero Line." I answered.

"Pure blooded?" Elsha-san asked.

"A bloodline can be diluted over the generations right?" Takeshi asked. "Those who aren't pure blooded are often those who haven't inherited the power of the Hero."

"The Major Sub Families are families that have been chosen by the Heroes as leaders." I told them. "Special as they are given the right to govern over certain lands in our nation. Each has been given a duty by the Hero."

"With that aside, about the Titan." Taleshi said and just then the doors burst open with a strong gust of wind. "What's going on?"

Just then, at the door, a figure came into view. Dressed in a brown vest with a green shirt and black pants tucked into his boots, a man with golden hair, light brown skin and brown eyes stood. His muffler flew about in the air as he took off his hat to bow his head.

"My name is Hermes. The Guardian, Hermes." He said with a playful voice. "Nice to meet you, Descendants of my Progenitor."
