Awakening of the Dragon God

The Dragon God of this world had grown angry and fearful at the same time. His descendants were supposed to reach apex power in the world and suppress all other races into submission! It was supposed to be fun and worthwhile watching everything play along! Yet, every single strong being consisted of only humans in these eras! This was so frustrating! "Alright, that's it. I need a dragon who can display the true power of our race and suppress all the humans that took over the world. I need someone that doesn't have a beast's mind. I need someone that is willing to take risks and blast through life-threatening situations for supreme power. Someone who showcases to the world what a True Dragon is once again." " Time to check out that place and fix what has been once broken." Sam was an assassin who finally got to retire after his arm got broken without any possibility of healing again. His life ended in a sudden tragedy that he actually expected to happen, but before he could go to the afterlife, he was pulled away by a being that spoke about reviving his race. Follow Sam on his journey as a dragon to conquer the human race and reach the apex in a world where people thought dragons were mere useless lizards that were good in nothing. However, an unexpected situation in that not even the dragon god saw it coming occurred, and the strongest system of extraordinary origins chose Sam as its host. The cover isn't mine. Helping Hand!

The atmosphere tensed quite a bit as Sam looked at the narrowed eyes.

He realized that the next words would be the most important since the Dragon God never really blinked or moved as far as he knew. Considering that this was his first eye movement, he knew that it was something he shouldn't miss at all.

" Create your own path to rise as a True Dragon, doesn't matter what you think of; just remember to never focus on magic as your main attacking method and cultivating process since that path will lead you nowhere against humans."

" One more thing I wanna clear out before I send your soul to Cardica. You are no more a human, do not get entangled with the mentality of humans and risk getting killed because you didn't like the fact that you have to hurt your own kind. You are now a dragon, not a human, keep that in mind; this is for your own good and safety."

He then paused for a moment and sighed," I know that words aren't gonna help you much, but I'm sure it will at least prepare you for what's to come. Humans are your enemy, you have no saying and choice in the matter, I'm only warning you because I can't afford to have you get killed on your first days and get me to risk summoning another human."

Sam knew this well; as a matter of fact, he was a little bit worried about that point.

' Even though I killed people to repay debt, it was never my decision to do so, and that's why I didn't complain, bu..' Before he continued thinking, however, he got interrupted.

" Oh, you killed humans to live; that will make it far easier then. And I can even make it much easier for you."

Swoosh!

Sam's head rolled down the invisible floor in the void; blood spurted out like a fountain from his neck.

" Huh?"

Sam grew confused as he watched the world spin around him; he wasn't feeling fear because he didn't know what had happened, and he didn't feel angry because he had no reason to.

All Sam was seeing was the stars and the gigantic eyes that, from time to time, were in front of him, and other times were gone; it was like he was quickly changing his line of sight, even though he never moved his eyes.

His mind began losing consciousness, the world began spinning inside of his brain, and he finally reacted, his face full of terror.

But no matter how many times he tried to yell or ask what happened, no voice came out, and after a second, his thoughts dissipated into the void, his brain ceased working, and his eyes became lifeless.

Shing!

Sam's body appeared again in the void, yet, even after a few minutes, no words came out of his mouth.

" Did I ju.."

Sam's voice stopped as his hand went to his neck. His entire body was straining itself as it became harder for him to breathe.

And then, Sam lost it.

However, he couldn't be blamed for his poor reaction. Take a human from a street and kill him, then revive him. Then see how they react.

The Dragon God waited for some time and then spoke again, waking him up to reality. Plus, they didn't have much time left; there was a risk he might really be found out if he kept dragging this any longer.

" Keep that feeling in your heart and mind, and never forget it. That's the feeling of death. And that same feeling which will only last for a second or so before you are forever gone from the living world will hit you again if you become careless and don't make ruthless decisions."

Before Sam could even speak and point out something, the Dragon God had already answered, predicting it.

" Your death in your world was erased by him, which means that all the feelings of that point were gone. It's not something that I can control since I'm not on his level, but then again, that's why I had to kill you and make you feel it once again."

" That was a little favor from me. Now It's time for you to go on your journey; hope that will help you and you didn't waste my time for nothing, dying for the sole reason that you cherish your mortality like countless people out there."

Sam knew that his time was ending, and he had no time to think about what just happened, so he quickly asked about his third question before he got sent into this world called Cardica.

" What about my third question?"

The Dragon God instantly answered like he was prepared for it," You better save that one for later, get some knowledge about the world, experience life there, and if you manage to survive, I'll answer your question the moment you reach the fifth realm."

" Oh, and I gave you three objects that will help you on your journey, use them wisely."

The Dragon God's tone changed once again, but this time, it was a tone full of majestic and arrogant aura, sending shivers down Sam's spine.

" Human, send terror in the world of Cardica and show the world what a True Dragon is capable of. Kill all the humans that dare to oppose you and torture the rulers of the world for eternity. Destroy, kill, massacre, and revenge your new race. Push yourself to the limit and embrace danger, live in a thin layer of rope that constantly threatens your life, or else you will never become strong enough."

Swoosh!

Then Sam vanished from the void, appearing in a random place inside the world of Cardica.

" Farwell, young dragon, and hope you don't disappoint us!"

After he said these words, the Dragon God's eyes closed as only darkness filled the void again; not a speck of light could be seen in the surrounding hundreds of kilometers.

Only then did a faint voice could be heard, quite unsure about what he was saying.

" I feel that I forgot to tell him something important. Hmm, Did I really forget? Agh, I'm really losing my mind in this cage. Well, even if I forgot something to add, that wouldn't change anything since I can't interfere in his world anyway. Don't blame me, Sam. Your god is really out of shape."

" Hahaha!"

Only loud laughter filled with hope and faint happiness got left behind as the Dragon God again became quiet, never to speak or move again.
