Annie's POV

It's been 6 hours since Riku was here and nothing has happened ever since. The only thing that was changing was Armin's personality, he was slowly becoming like Bertholdt and everyone saw it.

"Riku can't you break the lock?" asked Connie

"Even if I do, there's still a bunch of locks I have to bust." replied Riku

"Don't get too anxious it's not good." said Armin, "The best thing we could do is to stay calm."

"I know that but right now nothing's happening, did you team get the jammer?" asked Connie

"It's not a jammer for one and two the Scouts must have fixed it." replied Riku

"I'm just waiting to kill Eren." said Ymir

"Ymir." called out Mikasa

"How can you still protect him when he said he hated you?" asked Ymir

"Ymir, Eren must have meant it in a different way." said Armin

"Armin, you're just as useless as always." said Ymir

"Ymir listen, we all know about the blood of Ackermans and how they are genetically 'forced' to protect the ones they love. But if you think about it, he must have said it to break Mikasa from doing that." he said

Jean, Mikasa and Connie gave him the unsure look.

"Jean doesn't Mikasa still care for Eren like he's a child?" asked Armin

"I mean yeah but that's cause they're siblings." replied Jean

"But we all know Eren doesn't like that, maybe he's just trying to help Mikasa break from that so that the Ackermans aren't always a slave to someone." said Armin

I looked at Armin and for some reason I wanted to agree with him, maybe Eren was just trying to help.

"What do you think, Annie?" asked Riku, "Do you think he's right?"

I looked at Riku and slightly nodded.

"I hope he's right." I replied

Gabi's POV

"You're going to get out of there soon." I told Falco

"I hope, I can't stand being in a jail cell cramped with a bunch of other soldiers who are all pissed off." replied Falco

Falco looks behind him to look at the 15 other soldiers crammed inside the jail cell with him.

"I told you not to bring me to a bar." I told Falco

"Yea I should have listened." complained Falco

My watch started ringing, indicating that it's time to get back to work.

"I'll come back in 2 hours." I told Falco

"Yea, have fun at work." said Falco

"I can't have fun without you." I replied

"Are you saying Udo and Zofia are boring?" asked Falco while chuckling a bit

"No, but you're more fun to tease." I replied

I left and headed back upstairs where I was posted to take care of the damn satellites.

"This is so boring." sighed Zofia

I just sat on my seat and watched the screen just blink a couple of times before 2nd Lieutenant Louise came in. The three of us in the room stood up and saluted and Louise just saluted back for a split second.

"As you were." she said

2nd Lieutenant Louise, she's apparently the girl who looks up to Mikasa Ackerman a lot ever since she was saved by her during a battle right before Russia attacked Eldia. She met Mikasa a couple times and Mikasa took her under her wings for a bit before Louise actually joined the Survey Corps. But I'm sure Mikasa wouldn't want to see her all caught up in Eren's ideology to destroy the enemies.

"How's Falco doing?" asked Udo

"Complaining a lot." I replied

I took a sip of my coffee but then a dot appeared on the radar. I put down the coffee and began to check the signal but then the dot began to grow larger in size.

"Ma'am I got something coming in from the north." I said

Louise came over and checked my computer screen, she looked at it for a second before her eyes widened.

"Get command on the phone now!" she yelled

Udo quickly grabbed the phone and called command while I zoomed into the dots. It ended up in the ocean but it showed a whole naval fleet.

"It's the IMT..." I whispered

"We got bogeys coming in from the north! We are under attack!" yelled Louise through the phone, "What do you mean negative? It's on our fucking screen!"

That's when the sirens outside began to blare loudly.

"Deploy every available personnel out there now!" yelled Louise

"But ma'am, half of our forces are being contained." replied Udo

"Then get me the other half!" she yelled

I quickly grabbed my gun and cocked it but then a shadow flew over us, I looked out the window and I saw at least 8 boeings dropping IMT terrorists onto the streets.

"Paratroopers!" gasped Zofia

"You three follow me!" yelled Louise

I quickly left with her and we began to head over onto the streets with a squad of Scouts.

"Protect the civilians!" yelled Louise

The IMTs began landing on the roofs, streets and cars and began blasting their weapons.

"They're shooting the civilians!" yelled Udo

I began firing back, making sure I don't shoot the civilians.

"Get Eren Jaeger!" yelled Louise

Annie's POV

"What the hell is going on!" yelled Jean

I heard a loud siren outside, indicating there's an attack.

"Riku don't you think that now's a good time to break the lock?" asked Connie

She kicks open the door breaking it.

"Let's go." she said

We all left the jail cell and began to break through security gates until I heard gunfire coming from the hallway. We were just about to turn the corner when I saw IMT terrorists turn the corner.

"Oh shit!" yelled Jean

I thought I was going to die but someone from behind the IMTs began to shoot at them, killing them.

"Ma'am!"

I watched as three men became visible.

"Alpha 1-2, what the hell is going on?" asked Riku

"The IMTs came out of nowhere." replied the man named Alpha 1-2, "We need to get to the kids, they're killing everyone."

"Brooks, Ashley." I gasped

"Fine, Annie you're with me, Jean get the others to the nearest armory." said Riku, "We'll get the kids."

They nodded so we split and began to make our way up towards the street.

"Annie, shift!" yelled Riku

I got some space away from Riku and shifted.

Javelin's POV

Annie shifts and then brings her arm down so that I can get on. She started running around the streets and I gasped at the sight.

It was complete chaos, the IMT were everywhere killing anything that moves.

"Annie the orphanage!" I yelled

She nodded and ran as fast as she could towards the orphanage. The orphanage came into view but the IMT terrorists were at the front. Annie began stomping on the IMTs, killing them but then the first floor of the orphanage exploded.

"Annie, bring me to the third floor!" I yelled

She brought her hand down next to the third floor which was burning so I jumped and crashed through the window. I looked up and saw Keegan standing there coughing from the smoke.

"Kids over here!" I yelled

Keegan looked over and saw me so he called out to the others somewhere and they all began to come out.

"Ellie!" I yelled

"Mommy!" she yelled

"Aunt Riku!" yelled Keegan

"Quick, everyone get on Annie's hand!" I yelled

There were so many kids, Mikasa's kids, Annie's kids, Sasha's kid, Ymir's kid.

"Mom!" gasped Ashley

I began helping them get onto Annie's hand before the fire grew. Once they all got on board I climbed onto Annie's other hand and she ran off to a safe place.

"Ellie are you okay?" I asked

"I'm fine mommy." replied Ellie

I hugged her and sighed in relief.

"You'll be safe soon." I said

"Where's papa?" asked Ellie

"He'll be here soon." I replied

"Annie!"

Mikasa landed on the roof next to us.

"Mom!" called out Damion and Joshua

"Damion! Joshua! Are you two okay?" she asked

"Yea we're fine." they replied

"Mikasa what's wrong?" I asked

"The IMT are everywhere, we need to find a safe place for them." replied Mikasa

"We'll find one." I replied

In the distance I saw Eren in titan form fighting. I also saw Porco and Pieck fighting nearby and they seemed to be busy but they noticed us and made their way towards us and came out of their titan forms.

"Riku? What are you doing here?" asked Porco

"No time to explain, Porco, Pieck I need you two to do something. There's an antenna 2 miles west from here, you need to take it out so that we can communicate." I said

"I'll go, I can last the longest in titan form." said Pieck

"Okay, we'll get the kids to safety." I said

"Get them to my place, Milo's in the basement safe and sound." said Pieck

"Let's go then." said Mikasa

Annie made her way towards Pieck's house which took about 5 minutes until she stopped at a house that was nearly out of Shiganshina.

Annie lowered her hand so that the kids could get off and she came out of her titan form and embraced her kids.

I quickly entered the house and made sure there were no hostiles inside. I looked for the basement until I moved a shelf and behind it was a hidden door.

I pushed it open and inside was a boy, Milo, it's been a while since I've seen him and he was pretty scared.

"Milo, it's okay we're not here to hurt you." I said

"Who are you?" asked Milo

"Milo, it's me Annie." whispered Annie

"Aunt Annie!" gasped Milo

"Milo your friends will be staying here. Don't worry everything will me fine." said Annie

Annie and Mikasa then helped the kids down to the basement.

"Hey Ashley make sure you take care of your friends okay? I'll be back and it'll all be over before you know it." said Annie

Ashley nodded so Annie hugged her and Brooks.

"Damion, you're the older brother. Take responsibility and take care of your brother and your friends for me." said Mikasa

"Don't worry I'll stop any bad guys that come to harm them." replied Damion

"I know you will." replied Mikasa

"Hey Emma." I called out

I pulled out one of my sidearms and handed it to her.

"Take care of them." I said

"Why her? Give me a gun as well." said Keegan

"Your sister has a better shot than you." I bluntly replied, "I'm trusting you with this Emma."

"I understand, I'll do my best." she replied

I nodded and Emma took the gun.

"Annie, Mikasa, let's go." I said

Annie and Mikasa nodded so we left the basement and closed the door and put the shelf over it.

But before we left I picked up the home phone and began to dial in a number.

"Jammer's down, looks like Pieck succeeded." I said

"Hello?" came Kit's voice

"Logan it's me." I answered

"Riku?! Are you okay?! What about the kids?! What's going on?!" he asked

"Not enough time to explain but the fucking IMT is here." I replied

"Well, Eldia isn't the only place being attacked, the southern parts of Africa are also being attacked so that no reinforcements can reach you in time." replied Kit, "We'll try to get to you as fast as we can. Please stay alive."

"I will, the kids are safe so don't worry." I replied

"Okay, wait wait. Incoming!"

I heard Kit yell and the phone cut off.

"Kit? Kit?!" I yelled

I threw the phone in frustration.

"What happened?" asked Mikasa

"I was just on the phone with Kit but something's attacking them." I said

"No..." groaned Annie

I just sighed and shook my head.

"Let's just get out there and stop the IMTs for now, that's the mission." I said

"Mikasa!" I heard Jean yell

Jean and the others began to enter the house.

"Are the kids safe?" asked Sasha

"They're in there." replied Mikasa

"What should we do now?" asked Armin

I saw that all of them had ODM gear on.

"Armin, you're the commanding officer in this room, what's your call?" I asked

Everyone turned to Armin but he looked away.

"I-I don't really know." replied Armin

"Armin, think like you always do." said Annie

Armin began to think, the distant gunshots and screams echoing in the air.

"Eren's out there fighting on his own. Let's support him." said Armin
