Assassin from Abyss

He is helped in his journey by Epoch , an artificial intelligence installed in his brain , who is both an asset and a liability. A ticking time bomb .. (The MC is neither a hero nor or a villain , he is a survivor . And in order to survive he will perform heroic deeds or show the world true villainy , whatever is the call of the hour. He is a true rogue at heart. ) Author here : I am a fan of world building and character caricature so if you expect action at initial chapters you wont find any until you read a bit more . The Ruse
Madam Butterfly caught hold of the hilt of the forked dagger ,pierced inside Kervyn' s mouth, and started twisting it.
The sharp blades of the dagger rotated cutting through Kervyn' s flesh inside his mouth and neck causing more blood to gush out from his face .
She then ruthlessly took out the pierced dagger by giving a strong upward pull . The dagger ,splitting apart Kervyn' s face ,brain and skull into two slices, came out covered in blood ,pus and grey matter .
Kervyn' s face and skull were now sliced in the middle and dangled towards the sides from the base of his neck. Blood , pus, and grey matter ,oozing out from Kervyn' s sliced skull and face ,splattered on bedroll and the floor.
Madam Butterfly kicked the lifeless body of Kervyn, and it flew back hitting against the inside reed walls of the house and fell at a corner on the floor.
"That will be no accident, but I don't give a damn " Madam Butterfly thought aloud .
She then looked towards Saana who was still lying unconscious on the bedroll drenched in blood and pus . She took Kervyn' s upper body apparel, lying on the floor, and threw it over Saana's naked body .
As the apparel landed with a thud on her body, Saana's consciousness returned, and her eyes opened slowly . Remembering the terrifying sight of Kervyn' s impaled face ,her mind instantly became alert, and she immediately got up and looked around .
She saw Madam Butterfly standing near her head with a dagger and as their eyes met her throat turned dry.
Just then the sound of loud footsteps was heard, and both their faces turned towards the entrance door .
A male rakshasa with black colored skin and hair wearing a full sleeved apparel entered running through the door . His face was covered in blood, supposedly from an injury on his head as blood was seen still trickling down his face from his head. He halted seeing both the ladies in the room and then ran towards Madam Butterfly .
Seeing the male rakshasa running towards her, Madam Butterfly tightened the grip on her daggers and readied herself to strike at him. She came forward to make a move but stopped abruptly at the strange sight before her .
The male rakshasa noble, running at her, had now lied down flat on his stomach before her with his bare hands stretched out in a praying position.
He said in a hoarse voice " Lady, please don't hurt my wife , I love her more than anything else in this world. If anything happens to her I will die . She is the only best thing that ever happened to me , I cannot imagine my life without her . Hurt or kill me if you like but please spare her life." Saying this the male noble stayed in that position and muffled sobs was heard from him as if he was silently crying .
Saana looked at the male noble lying down and now after hearing his voice identified him as Markus , she previously could not recognize him with all the blood on his face . Her voice was also hoarse from crying and screaming, still she somehow managed to say loudly " Markus your friend Kaiser forced himself on me and tried to .."
"Stop! " Madam Butterfly shouted looking at Saana . Then she looked towards Markus, lying on the floor, and said in a rough tone, "Nice friends you have there ! Your friend was trying to take advantage of your wife . Where were you? How dare you claim to love her if you cannot protect her when she is in trouble? "
Markus looked up towards her ,still lying down in that position.
Tears were rolling down his cheeks as he said,
" Lady, Kaiser is not my friend . I had just met him today . He said he needed my help, but he betrayed me by hitting my head from behind ,outside this house . I felt unconscious and lost a lot of blood . I gained consciousness a few minutes ago and came running here in fear that Kaiser had hurt my Saana ."
Saying this Markus looked towards Saana and said " Saana I am sorry I put you in danger please forgive me . I don't care now what my family or others will say, I will tell them you are my wife and I love you and can't stay away from you "
Saana was still processing what was going on , she felt that there were some loopholes in what Markus was telling but she kept her mouth shut .
She was still wary of the old female rakshasa holding a dagger and felt that whatever Markus was telling ,was to protect them. So, after hearing Markus, she also participated in the ruse and said, " Husband, I am just glad you are safe too . Nothing else matters when you are safe and don't ask me to forgive you , you were just helping a fellow noble but he turned out to be a betrayer . I know how much you love me ;you would never knowingly put me in harm's way ." Saying this Saana buried her face in her hands and started making sobbing sounds.
Madam Butterfly was watching this emotional drama silently .
She thought and conceived the notion from their conversation that these two lovebirds had secretly married , it was obvious considering that the female was a commoner and her husband a noble.
She felt as if she saw herself and her husband in these two young lovebirds and her eyes softened . She relaxed and put away her dagger inside her storage bead and looked at Markus saying " You are pathetic to make your wife cry but you guys have now seen me and will have to face the consequences"
