Rest in Bliss

Saana's face showed that she was so gobsmacked by seeing what had just happened ,that she had forgotten to scream, and her mouth was kept wide open in utter bewilderment .

She had assumed that Markus was lying blatantly to save her and had succeeded when the lady offered to let them both go. But what Markus did was beyond her imagination .

As the shock phase went away, she looked at the headless body still sloshing out blood and at the severed head lying on the floor faced in her direction. The protruding eyeballs and tender smile on the lips of the severed head frightened her and she stood up wrapping Kervyn' s apparel around her naked body .

She felt disgusted seeing the blood and pus of Kervyn on her body .

"We are saved Saana " Kei said seeing Saana stand up .

Saana looked towards him and asked "Markus, why did you kill her? "

She felt a vibe of hidden danger seeing Markus sitting relaxed on the floor after killing the lady but also suddenly felt attracted to his deviant personality.

"No, No I am sorry , I don't doubt you its just that I did not expect all of this to happen, and the lady also seemed genuine in her offer to let us go . But let's go back now , I don't want to stay here anymore . " Saana replied .

Kei stood up and came near Saana standing just at a face length from her .

The fire in the hearth burnt brighter as small crackling sounds were heard .

"I am pleased to see that you are alright " Kei said as he leaned in to kiss Saana . Saana was unable to resist , she also gave in, and they kissed passionately for a moment .

" You might want to go take a bath , go across the hall and to the left , there is a washroom there and here take this new garb ." Markus said looking at Saana's giddy face .

"Yes I will go change " Saana said as she took the garb and went inside the washroom . She hanged the garb on a notch and started washing herself to clean off the blood and pus on her body .

When she had almost finished bathing she felt a pair of hand on her waist .

Surprisingly, she looked around and saw Markus standing behind her without any clothes . She wanted to scream but somehow could not. His muscular physique and the red carvings on his hands aroused her.

"Have you done this before? " Markus Asked . Saana as if in a trance answered "No." "Then this shall be your reward" Markus said as he kissed Saana, and she kissed back.

He then carried her in the bedroom on the right side of the hall .

Kei held nothing back .

A prism shaped bead , drenched in blood, lying on the floor of the hall suddenly started to glow.
