Assassin from Abyss

Ruthless and sharp as a dagger, he cuts through enemies and obstacles in his way as he pierces through layer after layers and delves into greater depths to seek his goals. He is helped in his journey by Epoch , an artificial intelligence installed in his brain , who is both an asset and a liability. A ticking time bomb .. He is a true rogue at heart. ) Author here : I am a fan of world building and character caricature so if you expect action at initial chapters you wont find any until you read a bit more . Last thoughts
Kaiser was unable to awaken his bloodline on the third day. He was devastated , he punched on the surface of the jade flagon, despite the pain, until his hands bled profusely, in an attempt to trigger the activation of his beast bloodline.
Kaiser kept on hitting until cracks started forming on the flagon surface but the skin on his hands had peeled of and blood came oozing out and started forming a small puddle on the floor . Due to this heavy blood loss, Kaiser suddenly fainted .
It was half an hour to midnight when Kaiser gained consciousness .
He checked to see if there were any changes in his body in the hope being transformed during his unconsciousness . But he could not find any changes , his skin color was the same , he could not grow or retract claws and neither his canines seemed to have grown. Kaiser felt dejected, he knew it was a false hope that he was giving himself only to delay the inevitable but deep inside, he knew he could never had awakened his bloodline since his father was a human.
"As per the decision of the clan elders I will be thrown in the Screaming Sea" thinking about what he had learned about the screaming sea, after his mother died, sent shivers down Kaiser's spine "Death is acceptable but such cruel way to die is not acceptable " Kaiser thought .
Several thoughts spun inside Kaiser's mind ..
He thought about the life he has lived this far inside the bubble that his mother made for him until the bubble busted and he was left alone .
Kaiser thought about the faces of the members of his mother's clan who had come to observe his awakening ritual with smug grins on their faces , they knew he would be unable to awaken any beast bloodline. They have just come to enjoy his failure and then to end his life by indicting the punishment their elders have set on him before his birth.
He remembered his two uncles Rodon and Anastas giving him hope ,before the ritual, that if he would shed blood, that may trigger any dormant bloodline in his genes.
He had met his two uncles the day after his mother died . They had come in search for his mother and were devastated to see her dead . They helped Kaiser with the burial of his mother's body and comforted him .
They had asked him questions relating to his birth and how much Rasvet had told him. Kaiser opened up to his two uncles and said all his mother told him that evening before dying, except for the letter . He felt that it would tarnish his mother's name if anyone got to know that his mother had committed suicide.
So, he had kept silent about the letter even to his helpful uncles .
Kaiser took out a red pill hidden inside his fingerless gloves and thought out loud "My life was meaningless.. I have been a curse to my mother… she loved me with all heart but in the end I was the reason behind her death…if only I had the power..." tears started falling down Kaiser's eyes " Oh what I would give ..for power ..for power to change my future ….to make my mother happy…and get out of from this hell" .
Kaiser gobbled the red pill and a chilling sensation spread from his mouth and throat to his chest which soon engulfed his whole body and he fell down dead with grievance in his eyes as midnight fell on the lands of the Black Earth.
...(sigh) .. Kei felt as if he was watching a movie with three dimensional goggles as the memories of Keiser surfaced in his mind playing like an animated slide show . " This dude had a hard time" Kei thought , he felt a tinge of empathy for Kaiser as his life was decided even before his birth but hated the idea of him committing suicide .
" He could have tried to survive till the end but then again, I would not have revived in his body then" Kei thought.
" Also his mother's suicide seemed fishy in some way but who knows? No one can understand women " Kei thought as he wryly smiled.
"It all seems so staged ,our death at exact time ,my transmigration in his body ..it all seems as if someone is playing the puppeteer here with our lives, harboring a hidden motive " Kei thought. His yakuza instinct, sharpened over time by trading with criminals and law enforcers, tinged.
"But this can wait, first I need to get out and then…" Kei's thought stopped midway as he realized that although he transmigrated into Kaiser's dead body, his life still hung by thread , as to the outside world, Kaiser was undergoing the awakening ritual, failing which would result in a cruel death as punishment.
The door of the room swung open at that instant.
