The training begins.

Gin and Ansu get their badges which are white in color.

Helen: We expect maximum effort during the sector exams!

Gin: We won't disappoint!

Helen: That's what I'd like to hear, next!

Gin and Ansu go back to their spots, so do Razor and Olivia, both have gotten their purple badges.

After everyone is done picking their sector's, Helen's sector has come with the most rookies, having 237, while Tameo has 120, Kon being stuck with 23.

Official: Now that everyone has selected their sector! we shall move into the next point of business, the sector exams! everyone will have one week off so that they can have time to train. Reminder, this one week off is NOT a vacation, and you shall not underestimate the sector exams! now, everyone may leave and begin their training process!

Olivia: Piece of cake, this won't be difficult, I'll train like, one day of the week, and the rest will be spent at the beach!

Gin: Are you not going to train?

Olivia: Who needs training when you are rich? I can easily pass with the power of money.

Ansu: Daddy's money...

Olivia: I heard that! its not funny!

Razor: I'm going to train at my own pace, do not disturb me.

Everyone begins leaving the room, Gin and Ansu make their way to the Authority's special training ground, where the find little to nobody there, people seem to underestimate the sector exams.

Ansu: Is Razor going to be here?

Gin: Most likely not, he said he will be training at his own pace.

Ansu: So you want to start training?

Gin: Buckle up! I'm going to knock you out!

Ansu: Sure! I'm down for it!

Gin: Wait, I have a few questions.

Ansu: Hm? ask right away.

Gin: What is virtue?

Ansu: Virtue is the energy that courses through your body, some people are born with or without virtue, to explore that you need some kind of specialist... think of it as a way to project your energy, out of your body, and make use of it during combat.

Gin: Oh I get it now, but how do I use it?

Ansu: We can't, because we don't know, that's why Helen's sector is the best choice.

Gin: What is arcane?

Ansu: That, is beyond me. I have no idea to be honest. But I heard its a form of fighting.

Gin: Do you have any idea what a virtue master is?

Ansu: I have no idea about that as well, but I can speculate that its a person who is able to control their virtue to an abnormal degree, way better than anyone can.

Gin: I'll probably have to consult Olivia about it, since she passed the written test with flying colors.

Ansu: Anyways, are you ready to spar?

Gin: Of course!

Gin and Ansu get in fighting position, and begin sparing, throwing hands and engaging in combat back to back, Ansu is not able to keep up with Gin's abnormal strength and power, and gets defeating, Gin and Ansu spar until sun set.

Once Gin and Ansu are done sparing, they drink water and cleaned off their sweat with towels.

Ansu: It was fun sparing with you, we definitely got a bunch of work done.

Gin: Yeah, lets head back to the dorms.

Ansu and Gin decide to head back to the dorms, where they find Olivia resting on her bed.

Olivia: You guys are back... how was training? anyone broke any bones yet?

Gin: Nope, and what are you doing, relaxing?

Olivia: Like I said, I'm going to train only once out of this week, but I didn't say which day.

Gin: Did Razor come back?

Olivia: Nope, he left, and I haven't seen him since, he must be training hard.

Gin: Olivia, I have a question.

Olivia: What is it?

Gin: What is arcane?

Olivia: You have no idea what arcane is? ugh, I always have to explain everything... you see, arcane is a form of power that requires your virtue to work, arcane can be split into two parts, charms and curses, charms being the more calm and direct way of power, while curses being a more destructive form of power. How do you not know this?

Gin: Charms and curses... I've heard of them before but I don't know how it works.

Olivia: Lets just say, virtue is the battery that's required to charge your arcane.

Gin: Gin, so without virtue, arcane doesn't work?

Olivia: Yes, but some arcane doesn't require virtue to activate, and it happens constantly or by impulse.

Gin: How do I know if I have arcane?

Olivia: That, I don't really know... but some people find out through experience, have you ever felt something unusual happen to you during a fight?

Gin: Anything unusual...

Gin remembers when he fought the high class officer, and time suddenly stopped for a second, which enabled him to dodge.

Gin: Time stopped for me once...

Olivia: Time... stopped??

Olivia seemed shocked, so did Ansu.

Gin: Yeah but it was for like, one second. I-I think, it was when I was fighting a high class officer, time stopped, for a second. Exactly, giving me enough time to dodge.

Olivia is now unsure if she wants to mess with him, he seems to have the arcane of stopping time.

Olivia: S-So you can stop time??? C-Can you control it??

Gin: Time never stopped for me after that fight, neither did it happen during my sparing match with Ansu, I-I don't know if I can control it or not.

Ansu: Your arcane is to stop time??

Gin: I-I guess so...

Olivia: W-Wait!! I-Its not confirmed! y-you can't have the ability to stop time!!

Gin: Why not?

Olivia: Because its not confirmed yet!

Gin: I guess so, I'm really excited to find out more about my arcane now!

Ansu: I have arcane as well, but I haven't discovered it yet.

Gin: Olivia, do you have arcane?

Olivia: S-Sadly not, but I wish I did.

Gin: W-What about Razor?

Olivia: Razor doesn't have arcane as well, but he is pretty powerful nonetheless.

Ansu: I'm going to go to sleep, I need to wake up early to start training again.

Gin: Me too.

Olivia: You guys have no sense of enjoyment whatsoever.

Gin and Ansu go to bed, sleeping to wake up, and go to the training special grounds the next day.
