Chapter 25: Elina

Asher silently laid on the bed in the room that Sunny assigned to him as he thought about the witch named Elina. He felt fear anytime he thought about her, all the supernaturals he had met all wanted him for their selfish wants, except for Shawn.

" Hang on there Shawn, I am coming to save you." Asher whispered as he thought about Shawn. He wanted to save Shawn from the dark witches but he didn't have enough power to do that so he would work with Sunny for a while and get money. With the money, he was sure that he would get information on the dark witches.

His eyes suddenly widened when he felt someone walk into his room, he could not see anybody but he knew that someone was in the room with him. He closed his eyes and he prepared to sleep, pretending like he didn't know someone was watching him. He knew the person wouldn't hurt him because Elina resided in the house and she looked like a powerful witch.

Wait… Elina, maybe Elina is the person watching him, she displayed this kind of power when they came into the house. Asher sighed, he knew that witches always meant trouble for him and Elina wasn't an exception.

Two hours later, he couldn't sleep because he felt it was inconvenient that Elina was still in the room with him. He had to inwardly compliment her patience.

" Show yourself Elina." Asher said slowly as he climbed down his bed before standing on his feet. Seconds later, Elina came out the shadows in the room and she stared at Asher with amusement.

" How did you know that I am in your room?" Elina asked as she smiled, the smile on her face gave Asher chills. She smiled like a predator that just saw her prey in a vulnerable state.

" That's none of your business." Asher said before sitting on his bed.

" Yes, it's none of my business but remember that I will still get to know your secret." Elina said with a bright smile on her face.

" It's no secret, you are just to blind to see it." Asher added and Elina chuckled in response.

" You know what I wanted to do when I came into your room?" Elina asked as she sat beside Asher.

" Do I need to know?" Asher responded as he looked at her.

" I wanted to pin you to the bed then bind you before I do naughty things to you." Elina said slowly as she licked her lips, Asher just shot her an indifferent look.

" It's not like you can do that to me." Asher said with indifference.

" Really? I have always loved challenges." Elina said as she giggled, Asher facepalmed as he looked at her. Are all the witches on this crazy?

" Get out of my room." Asher said.

" Alright I will leave, you have a lot to do tomorrow." Elina responded and she went out of the room. Asher sighed after Elina left the room and he slept.

The next morning, he woke up early and he took a shower after brushing his teeth, then he wore the new set of clothes that Sunny provided. He exited his room and he headed to the living room, getting there he saw Sunny sitting on a couch with Elina standing by his side. They were talking slowly but they stopped talking when they noticed Asher's presence in the room.

" Good morning Asher." Elina said as she flashed a smile, Asher scowled as he heard Elina greet him.

" Good morning." Asher greeted the both of them and he sat opposite Sunny.

" Are you hungry?" Sunny asked.

" No." Asher responded, he hadn't felt intense hunger since the time he took blood from an animal.

" Alright, so the first assignment today is to go out and plan where you will meet with a client tonight." Sunny said.

" I recommend public locations but you can choose any location you see fit, it's your job." Sunny added.

" I will get to it immediately." Asher said and he stood up.

" Take the blue sports car in the garage." Sunny said as he threw the car keys at Asher.

" I can't drive." Asher said and this surprised Sunny and Elina.

" I will drive." Elina said.

" There's no way I am taking you with me." Asher responded quickly.

" But you can't drive and you need someone to do the driving." Elina said.

" You have a job to protect Sunny." Asher said.

" I will be fine, let her drive Asher. You will need the car." Sunny said and Asher heaved a defeated sigh.

" We are leaving now." Asher said and he headed to the garage. Elina followed him and they entered the car then they drove out of Sunny's house. Asher thought about places he could pick to make the exchange that will take place that same night, then Elina interrupted his thoughts.

" Have you decided where we are going?" Elina asked.

" No." Asher responded and Elina parked the car immediately.

" Why did you park?" Asher asked.

" You don't know where we are going and you expect us to just keep going?" Elina sneered.

" Alright." Asher said as he retreated back into his thoughts, this was the first time he would be doing something like this. He didn't have any experience with things like this so he made sure that he thought carefully about it before making a decision.

" Let's go to a club." Asher finally said, he knew that a club was always rowdy and nobody would notice some guys selling illegal drugs.

" Good decision." Elina said and she drove towards a nearby club. Getting to the club, Asher realised that the club was the same club he met Lana. The club was in the werewolves territory and Elina chose the same club, there was no way she wouldn't know that the club belongs to the werewolves.

Asher looked at Elina and he sighed, maybe she is testing him but he wouldn't mind going to the club, he can mask his vampire smell after all.

" Why did you choose this club?" Asher asked.

" I felt like, you don't like the club?" Elina asked.

" I like the club, we don't have to enter, I have chosen this club as the location for tonight." Asher responded as he smirked, he planned on taking revenge on the werewolves that owned the club.
