Artifact , return and anger

ok sorry guys I realized I was promoting my HP fic too much so I will stop doing that.

ps. my wifi device was malfunctioning last night so I could not upload this chp.

we entered the new York sanctum or at least that's what it is going to be called in the future and went in the hall that houses the artifacts.

I started to explore the hall for a artifact that class to me but had no luck here either and as we were going to visit another sanctum I felt it, a pull coming from a corner of the hall ,I excitedly went towards their and looked to see it was a really small piece of wood that was about the size of an index finger. it was glowing a little and floating in the air, as soon as I reached my hand towards the glass case in which it was ,it immediately broke the glass went into my hand and as I was about to ask mala what was that ,I started to feel pain , it started mild then suddenly it was so intense that it looked like I was burning alive and that too was just a starting ,the pain continued to intensify and I blacked out.

I woke up to find I am in my room in kamar Taj , I got up from bed and immediately felt something different, actually a whole lot of different like I wasn't in my body ,I looked at myself and found I looked the same ,then I tried using my divinity and in an instant realized what was different about me, my divinity was strengthened a hundred Times and it took me just a fraction of my divine energy to perform tasks that would instantly drain me dry and but that's not what truly made me feel different,no it was the fact that instead of having a flesh body ,my body changed to become wooden, yeah you heard it. as I thought further about it I suddenly paled and hurriedly opened my pants ,then sighed in relief, then searched for mala ( ok I am getting annoyed with the name mala,so I am changing it to Yao).

as I reached the room she usually is , someone opened the door ,it was a new student here whose name I didn't even bother to remember, he seeing me in front of him , hurriedly bowed in greeting I greeted back by just grunting. he panickingly left after that, I looked into the room to find an amused Yao, she said.

Yao:" you know you should stop doing that every new student who doesn't know of you always gets afraid of you by your antics" I replied while grinning,

Jarl:" well it is fun to see them panic like that" and thought 'looks like staying away from Sif for 4 whole years is bringing by sadist outside of sex life ,I should be careful.

Yao:" well putting that aside we have to discuss the problem at hand" as she said that I remembered why I was here and asked her.

Jarl:" so tell me what that piece of wood was? it changed my body completely" she replied.

Yao:" that was a piece of wood from the tree yggdrasil that Odin gifted me to train you, but looks like it that Asgard's prince took that back and as it was an accident I forgive you but if you want to continue learning here then we will have to make a deal again" she said that while having the smile of a business woman , I groaned and asked.

Jarl:" what do want Yao , say it directly don't beat around the bush" she smilingly said,

Yao:"we had a deal that you will save the earth 1 time personally but we can extend that and you will have to save earth 3 times now" I replied,

Jarl:" 2 times and only when I think that you midgardians will not be able to handle the problem."

Yao"ok 2 times but you will protect the earth when I want" now I was getting angry .

Jarl:" don't push it Yao, it's not like I can learn dimensional magic only here , I can go to another place, midgard is not the only one who practices dimensional magic". she seeing me getting angry decided to set the deal as I sujested.

after settling the deal with Yao I stayed in midgard for another 6 years and mastered most branches of dimensional magic.

I am now returning to Asgard and thinking of how to raise my power more , well I know how but am still thinking about how to go about it.

anyway I am right now in a barren plain along with Yao, Yao said.

Yao:" why are you using bifrost to travel you can just open a portal to their" I chuckled a little and replied.

Jarl:" that my dear friend Yao ,you won't understand as you never traveled through bifrost." I then said bye to her and looked at the sky, and said :" well what are you waiting for ,you peeking pervert, open the bifrost heimdall" and sure enough a rainbow beam decended on me and I was among the stars going speeding towards Asgard ,

I landed in the observatory and the portal behind me closed. I looked at heimdall who was standing in front of me and said ,

Jarl:" ah that never gets old" then greeted him respectfully" so how you doing pervert" ok not so respectfully but hey it's not my fault he peeks at everyone.

his eyebrows and lips were twitching anime style as he replied back,

heimdall:" I am doing well my prince" and he is probably thinking' my name is heimdall and I am not not a pervert' ( hahaha some people might get the reference).

after the episode with heimdall I went towards the castle ,this time instead of making my way directly to the castle I wanted to go from the route of commoners district, I summoned a full black pegasus and ride it their,

as I reached their I went slowly taking the route that goes from the market , everyone who saw me made way and bow their bodies slightly and made way for me ,as I was going I saw some soldiers running after a kid who was hiding some vine in his arms ,I dismissed the pegasus back to my a.d. and ran after them to see what was going on. the soldiers eventually caught the kid and apprehended him I seeing that went towards them and asked authoratively.

Jarl:" what is going on here?" the soldiers seeing who it was asking them , hurriedly kneeled on the ground and answered,

soldier 1:" your highness crown prince jarl ,we were apprehending this kid for stealing from a vine store" I looked at the kid who was very scared , probably thinking about his fate. then looked at his body that was malnourished and looked like he didn't eat in days. I approched him and kneeled down put a hand on his shoulder ,looked into his eyes and asked.

Jarl:" you don't have to worry about anything and just answer my questions truthfully and I will release you. ok?" he hesitantly nodded, I asked the first question.

Jarl:"what is your name?" he replied :"i. I. am , my name is Jor " (I don't know anything about Norse names and even mc's name is from a randomizer , I just made up the name jor ,idk if it even is a name) , after that I asked a few questions to ease him a little,then asked questions on the main topic.

Jarl:" tell me why did you steal?" he was hesitant to reply but after seeing me looking at him gently waiting for an answer, he replied.

Jor:" I stole so that I can eat" I had a hunch where this was going so I continued to ask,

Jarl:" and why is that?"

Jor:" because father said I can only eat if brought him a bottle of vine" hearing that I knew what was going on and said to him,

Jarl:" ok can you take me to him ?" he trembled as he heard that, I sensing that said to him,:" don't worry Jor I just want to talk to him for a bit" he then after a bit of more convincing agreed to take me to his father, I went with him the soldiers followings me as we reached a shabby house I then told one of the soldiers :" take the kid with you ,make sure he is well fed and bring him to the castle. and after I convinced the kid to follow the soldier , kicked open the door and entered , from inside came shabby looking man , looking at him I asked just question.

Jarl:" are you jor's father?" ,he as drunk as he was answered without even looking at ,:"yeah so" and grabbed his neck and slowly started sucking all his vital energy he started to squim around shouting his lungs out due to pain but I didn't relent and as it looked like he will die I started to feed him his vital energy back and this was 10 times more painful ,I repeated this cycle for 30 minutes then crushed his head, and looked at the soldier from the corner of my eye and saw him trembling a little but I didn't care and told him to take care of the mess , and returned to the castle.

ps. mc will not adopt the kid I am just writing about him to fill in the chp
