CHAPTER 2: WELCOME PRO- ELITES

The Nebula is clear today. The cold winds pass in a flurry, it's not often we experience clouds in Nebula Dive but the Academy has a lot of clouds surrounding it. Despite the gray concrete furnished building it its bright white neon lights the Tech plants gave me comfort and a sense of welcome.

"Hey are you are alright?"

My peace was disrupted by yesterday's savior Knellson.

"Thanks to you" I chuckle.

"I was just following V.P.'s orders V.P. may look like a strict and emotional android but it cares for elites." He says with a comforting smile.

"Only we are not yet Elites" I reply with a scoff. "But we are sons and daughters of those Gods, which reminds me aren't you the daughter of Betelgeuse?" He asks looking for a response. I try not to show the darkness I felt in my heart but he could notice how I couldn't answer him quickly. It was true I was that woman's daughter. I clench my jaw and part my lip to respond but we are interrupted as- 

V.N flashes a message on each of our wrists: "ALL ELITE CANDIDATES HEAD TO THE SKY SIMULATION DOME" 

We both look at each other and head towards the dome at our own pace. Sky Simulation dome was located it the lowest underground floor of the Academy. Since Nebula Dive is way above the ionosphere we can't access actual clouds but the academy creates the simulation by copying certain features and mixing clouds from Earth's atmosphere with ours. 

How do I know this you ask? Of course, I asked V.N.

Finally, we reached the underground floor via the express elevator. The doors open and we are greeted with a bright light. The sunrays. It would be disrespectful to call it simulation since it felt real to the feel of my skin and as the winds blew in low and high pressure my feet felt it was above the ground as I walked on the fake white clouds. 

I look forward and notice pairs of eyes looking at me few with interest, some hatred or jealousy, and some with amusement and adoration. 

"Just!!"

A 16-year-old exclaimed. That's when I realized most of the eyes of adoration were for Knellson who was standing behind me and all the negative emotions for me. I spot Lock he is pretty social there are a total of 20 of us. All 20 clan representatives are here.

"Call me Knell young man," Knellson said interacting with the boy. I watch the interaction unfold. 

"Jealous much?" 

Lock whispers mockingly as he stands next to me. "Are you jealous?" I reply sarcastically. 

"Of course I am, everyone is jealous of him we all want to be where he is"

"You right" I had to agree. "But I will soon surpass him don't worry"

"Before that, I'll surpass you" challenge seeps through his tone.

The whole dome went silent when he heard two androids approach Vasilikós Aesop (V.A.) and Vasilikós Harriet (V.H.) both were teachers of History and Ethics.

"Welcome PRO ELITES we will now commence orientation for PROs" V.H.

"First we will start with introductions of each clan representative" V.A. adds.

That's all for introduction now we will introduce you to Advance Ascendancy Academy's System. Mixed bloods are referred to as CONs they will join the academy after a month and train to be CONs and PROs where they will assist you in the future as for you, all you need to train to become POSErs by manifesting your individual power gifted by the cosmos and hence Elites if you can't become Elites your siblings will as for you people who are an only child you must become Elites no matter what."

V.H. glanced a look at Knell while saying the last line.

As for me, I didn't care I'm here to be powerful enough to take what's mine.

"You must be Gods, You must guide and rule the humans like your forefathers did you are children of Elites Mother Cosmos Bay had created your ancestors only for this purpose to protect the weak humans are nothing without you so help them"

V.A. said coldly. It was funny how these spoilt kids were taught humans are similar to ants. If only they would have the humans how I have. I couldn't help but clench my fist and look down and notice another person clenching his fist it was Knell. I don't think much of it and pay attention to the pride-inflating speech.

"Sooner or later enemies from different planets and galaxies will strike you are born to fight great wars and heroes...blah blah-..."

"Excuse me can I excuse myself I need to take nap"

Lock says rolling his eyes which makes the dome a pin-drop silence but Knell starts laughing. The Androids look displeased.

"Fine we will move on to the next information the CONs will soon be welcomed and soon your intensive training will start, you all have AAA chips in your wrists it will show you the schedule and your progress it is nothing but competition from now" V.A. continues 

"You must refrain from bullying the CONs they are spawns of weak humans and they stand no chance against PROs they will come from Earth the first time to Nebula Dive so be kind."

"With that once again Welcome PRO-ELITES"

V.H. ends the orientation with that. I can feel the heat in the room nobody here wants to be the last in the AAA hierarchy everyone wants to be at the top. There are girls and guys aged from 16-26 in this room and only a few have what it takes to be a...
