CHAPTER 95

Their whole world came crashing down on them, knowing full well they were not alone and that they were nothing special. Only a few words showed them the true face of reality, and this was enough to create self-doubt and a deep understanding of their lives and circumstances. Just a few hard and cold truths were enough for them to change the way they think...

They were not any more special than normal people, and there are hundreds of thousands to millions, if not billions, of versions of all of them among those versions. They were sure there are many that would love to serve Darkseid, and it would be even easier than talking to them; he just had to go in some universe where they were evil.

Or he just had to go to worlds like Kitty, in which everything is doomed; he just had to save them; they would follow him like loyal dogs; they aren't special. His presence makes this place special, just like it could have made any other universe special if he had been born there.

This realisation had their last bit of pride just crumble away, and even women were not safe from this, as they all had bitter looks while biting their lips and tongues, and even Laura Domino and Madelyn had that sad look, but on a very small scale.

As Darkseid got up from his chair and without even glancing at any of them, he said, "The food was good, but now you've ruined my mood so I'll be leaving. I'm recognising that no matter how many times I try you, your stubbornness could rival that of gods and mortals. Mend your ways! Because even if you didn't, I would still go ahead. and that life won't be worth living.

Do you speak big and heavy words? Such as freedom when you yourself are not aware of the meaning of those words, as even I'm also not free, forget about you. You are surrounded by four walls all the time. Freedom is just an illusion in your mind.

A cage of which you know the existence but are unable to escape

I am offering you to escape from this cage and go beyond the world where your own creator drew you and even live him to dust... transcend this cage and reach the origin of the true omniverse and overcome the power you currently have.

Even your own body, whose DNA and biology limit and predetermine much of your capabilities, needs, and behaviour that we will have throughout life, our own mind that is only able to think about things that our senses and compression can perceive, the social norms that limit our behaviour about what is good and evil... even our own moral codes and conduct that largely prevent us from doing what is necessary and / or convenient from what we perceive as correct...

Always, for everyone, and everything... and even for beings like me, there will always be cages in an irreparable way...

However, some like me have the gift, ability, and/or luck to be able to escape from some of those cages, even from the highest-level cage in which they have been placed, and create their own cage with the perfect measures for their needs, decorate it to their liking, have absolute control over it, and do everything they want with it...

A cage that will rise above all others

Right?" Ororo said with some sarcasm another time, but something more convinced and attracted her by Darkseid's words. And she was not alone in this, as everyone in the room was fully affected by his words, especially women who felt butterflies in their stomachs.

Despite the inconvenience that could entail, they were seeing before them an opportunity to find new aspirations and experiences. become more than they are, become special, and who doesn't want to be special?, live forever, and get all the happiness they always thought was theirs. Do something different. Something that always motivates them to do it, even when they all had different ways of thinking and different values and morals, this was something they always wanted after all, who doesn't? and they all know it had to be fast before the almost almighty beings who have gotten bored of the world and its people restart it all.

And just like her, Darkseid also glanced at her, and then he looked at all of them.

On the other side, we see Darkseid Laura Madelyn appear in the same park in which they eat their ice cream, and just a few seconds later Domino also appears behind them through a red tunnel.

Darkseid: "Well, let's continue our date, Shell be." Darkseid said as he started to walk that the whole place was empty, as not even a signal soul could see around the area as people had hidden in their homes. 

Domino: "Aren't 

"You angry?" Domino asked as she was very confused by her looks as she had a small smile when she patted Morgan. On the other hand, Laura and Madelyn also had smiles on their faces as all of them walked together in peace. 

as they all looked at peace. had gone together since.

Darkseid: "Why would I be angry, my love?" asked Darkseid as he glanced at her. 

Domino: "Because he screamed at..." and before she even completed her stance, she closed her mouth. 

Darkseid: "See how stupid it sounds and looks when you think about it," said Darkseid with a devilish smile on his face. "My love and my pride are not that shallow that they would be hurt by the words of someone who doesn't even follow me; do you have any idea how many creatures know about my existence?" said Darkseid while looking at Domino.

While Domino had no idea what was going on, nor did she have any confirmation of the number he had just asked about, and when she looked at two other women in the group, she saw they had the same smile as Darkseid, and she somehow felt dumb here. "Well, Domino, the number is beyond Septillion; they all know about me and fear me because I single-handedly wiped out one of the strongest armies of an empire without doing much."

"I had armies of demons who would devour anything, and just my single order was enough to create fear in the universe. Do you believe that fear creates? Darkseid said as he looked at her, and again, she had some ideas but chose to remain silent. "Well, babe, it's chaos." Fear creates a sense of chaos, and our reactions to that chaos differ depending on the specific constitution of the individual or group experiencing it.

I'm terribly sorry for last few short chapters, I know both quantity and quality on their worsts but I was really tired as you know the year is coming to an end so we literally have to handle ten to 20 tenders per person. while writing this chapter. We Will get back to normal chapter length when we had less work to do.

It would have been so easy to write this on laptop but you know it's not a small thing lest for a middle-class family Sigh forge that see you hope you all are well and soon I would hold a QNA you could ask anything and I would try my best to answer it.

Hope I still get powerstones... Sigh...
