Arthur POV

I walked to the body and looked at him with a frown. 'Fuck sake'

'Resurrect'

"HAHHHH" A large gasp came from the once dead guard. His throat was no longer crushed and his eyes were watery as he looked around the room we were in. He looked anguished and scared when he made eye contact with me. "Y-YOU!?" He shouted whilst pointing his finger at me.

"Me?" I said, using my thumb to point at myself.

He was laid out on the floor with his mouth aghast. "You brought him back to life again? How is that possible? You didnt use any special equipment?" Serafall said to me with wide eyes. "Imagination~" I said with a grin before continuing. "But you realize he insulted me and then assaulted me right?" I finished with a questioning tone.

Sera looked at me before nodding "I understand that, and you have every right to retaliate, but-" she started, but I quickly interrupted her. "A wise man once said, 'everything before the word 'but' is horse shit'. I do believe it corresponds with what you were saying." I said to Serafall. 'Though it was Jon Snow that said it, and he certainly wasn't wise. Eh. Fuck it'

Sera rose her eyebrows before sighing and gesturing to the still shaking guard on the floor and spoke. "Fair enough then. I don't think he deserves t-" I couldn't be bothered to listen to her excuses for a man that threatened me and attempted to assault me.

I gazed down towards the man on the floor who was looking me in the eyes, unblinking. His trousers were stained in his feces, and urine surrounded his body. 'He was so scared he shit himself?' Serafall was still talking but I spoke to the guard, interrupting her explanation as to why I shouldn't do anything to the quivering mess of a man. "You disgust me." I said, sneering to the man laying in his bodily fluids.

"Y-you're just a wanna be noble!" The guard said sternly, but still shaking. I could see Serafall look between the both of us before addressing the guard. "Enough! You will apologize to Arthur right this insta-"

*BANG*

*Thud*

The guards body dropped to the floor, a 50 AE sized hole between his eyes. Brain matter was splattered on the nearby walls and floor with blood surrounding the unmoving body of the dead guard. Sera's eyes went wide and she looked to me aghast. "What?" I asked her.

I heard pattering footsteps nearby and saw guards running to our position. "Lady Serafall! Stand back and protect yourself!" I heard one of the guards shout. A magic circle appeared near us and Sirzechs and Grayfia appeared from it.

"Lucifer-sama!" Another guard shouted. The guard that was on the floor had ran away from me, seeing his companion had been killed. I didnt bother to stop him.

"Arthur! What's happened here?!" Sirzechs asked me seriously. Grayfia eyes roamed the scene and then made eye contact with me. She was staring at me, waiting for an explanation "Oh Luci! Yeah, this guy here" I said pointing to the dead guard on the floor before continuing "Threatened me before attacking me! I was only trying to talk to Serafall. So to keep myself safe, I retaliated. Admittedly I accidentally harmed him...Well... He died. But I resurrected him! And believe it or not, the little prick had the audacity to insult me again! Even after, out of the kindness of my heart, I brought him back from death! So I killed him again. He said I was a wanna be noble." I said angrily.

"What do you mean your resurrected him after killing him" Sirzechs asked me with his eyebrow raised. "I killed him, by accident might I add once again and then brought him back to life. I only brought him back because Serafall didn't seem happy about him dying."

The Lucifer narrowed his eyes before accepting what I said. Deciding not to ask anymore questions based on the magic I used to bring him back he quickly changed the subject. "I understand that he insulted you and attempted to attack you. But was it necessary for you to kill him? Lady Leviathan or myself could've handled it for you if you'd asked." Sirzechs said accusingly. 'Is this man serious?'

"So you're telling me that, if this person had attacked you and spat on your name, you would give him a punishment rather than end his life?" I asked with a frown marring my face. Grayfia's eyes stayed on me during the conversation. Though she lowered her defense when I told the Lucifer of what had happened between me and the guard.

"I would detain him and give him a trial for his punishments" Lucifer replied. "Then you are a more forgiving man than I am Lucifer. I cannot and will not allow any being, whether its a human, devil or a fucking God to act as if they have any right to push me around for no reason. If it is a small matter, than I can let it slide, but if someone dares to raise their hand at me, I will put them down." I said to him seriously. "I've been in the underworld all but an hour. And in that time, I have been pushed around by the guards at the gate, which I let slide as they have no idea who I am. Have come into the building where I have witnessed THE Lucifer, overreact and put his wife and my love in danger, as well as receiving threats from him personally, which does not give me a favorable impression. Following that meeting, I have come to see my personal friend, Serafall, only to get insulted and assaulted by the guards at her door for no reason." I exclaimed to all around me. I was growing angry at the introduction I had received to the devils as a whole.

Serafall had the decency to look ashamed, whereas Sirzechs looked angry that I had exposed his earlier outbursts over his sister. 'This piece of shit. When I get a good enough reason I'm going to fuck you up' I thought to myself, examining the reaction of the Lucifer.

Seeing that no one made to speak, I shook my head and sighed. "Right. I'm going to head back home and relax. I wont be visiting the underworld anytime soon. Bye Serafall." I said to them, before holding walking forward into a portal that appeared, leading to the ORC at school.

I appeared in the ORC and looked around the room. No one was in, so I decided to lay down on the couch and rest for a bit. Nabe had gone back to the house to fulfill her duties. I put on some headphones to listen to music, taking solace in being alone.

I was brought from my thoughts and listening to music when I noticed an aura from behind the door to the ORC room. Akeno walked in the room, unaware of my presence and looking to be focused on her own thoughts. She walked past the couch I was laying down on and walked over to the tea pot. Her shoulders were slightly hunched and the usually happy smile on her face, replaced with a natural frown. A far cry from the normal happy-go-lucky, seductive Onee-san that people close to her know her to be.

She most likely would've detected my aura as soon as she entered the building if I hadn't completely erased my presence. My thoughts fought with each other. I didn't know whether I should talk to her or continue listening to my music until she noticed me and spoke first. I obviously already knew what weighed her down, but I was unsure if at our current friendship she would feel safe enough to confide in me.

She walked to the tea pot and began brewing some for herself. "Hey Akeno" I spoke to her. The tea pot rattled as she jumped at the sudden voice in the room, before she spun around with wide eyes and glared at me, caught lacking and completely unaware of someone else being in the room. She didnt look very happy with my sudden appearance. Though the annoyance didnt show for long, it was gone in a second.

Her body straightened and she smiled, her upper lip twitching gave away the happy façade she threw on . "Hello Arthur. How long have you been here?" She asked in a sweet tone. I smiled kindly at her with an ounce of sympathy "Since before you walked in. I just got back from a small meeting" I replied to her. The annoyance faded from her face and the exaggerated smile fell away, now a small smile. "Oh" She said simply before turning back to the tea, her hand moved upwards to the tea pot, the shaking in her hand was visible. I chose to wait until she made her tea to talk again. I pulled myself up from slouching on the couch.

She made tea for both of us and turned around to look at me with two cups in her hand. I patted the seat next to me and she looked conflicted for a second before accepting. She handed me the tea and I took a sip. "Its very good, thank you" I complimented her. She smiled and nodded at me before looking down at the tea in her lap.

"Are you alright?" I asked her simply. She cringed before looking at me with another smile. "Yes, why do you ask?" She replied, not revealing any other emotion other than fake happiness. I felt the smile on my face falter before it came back again. 'She's not ready yet. That's fine'

"I was just wondering. Why aren't you in lesson?" I asked and she looked to me before smiling. "I have a free period. Rias went to talk to the student council president, she'll be here soon." I nodded my head at her answer and we sat in silence until Rias arrived.

The door opened and Rias walked in. She looked to me and Akeno with slight confusion before looking to me. Our eyes made contact and she smiled "Hey Arthur. Done talking with lady Leviathan?" I smiled grimly at the thought before replying to her. "We didnt really get to talk. You devils are a funny bunch" I said to her with humor. She rose her eyebrow at me in confusion. "Oh and whys that?"

"Hm well. I got to the underworld and was instantly insulted and threatened. I was then threatened again as soon as I made it in the Maou's building or whatever you want to call it, this was your brother by the way, he then proceeded to but Nabe in danger along with his wife. After the meeting with him I went to meet Serafall like I told you I would, and when I got where she was, I was insulted and assaulted. I killed the person who assaulted me and they looked at me like I was the one in the wrong for defending myself." I said. Getting annoyed over the inconsiderate pricks in the underworld.

Rias and Akeno's jaws were slack with surprise. They both looked like they wanted to speak, even opened their mouths to speak a few times, but neither did. Finally rias spoke "That's...You killed a devil?" she said.

"I tell you that I was insulted by basically every devil I met, even assaulted by one of them and you choose to ask me about the devil I killed in defense of my being and honor?" I ask with surprise
