Vol. 05 Ch. 25 – New Member Birthday

Angeloid was created by Arthur who took a reference from the anime Sora no Otoshimono. The word Angeloid is derived from the words Angel and Android so they are a series of hybrid machines that are given life from biological engineering because they have organs, fluids, etc. What is known is, despite their fragile appearance and human characteristics, they are endowed with great strength, speed, and combat knowledge as well as being extremely difficult to be harmed by the actions of ordinary humans.

The first Angeloid that Arthur created was Ikaros, where Arthur designed Ikaros to have versatile abilities and fighting power that focused on long-range combat. The Devil Fruit Arthur chose for Ikaros was a paramecia type Weapon-Weapon Fruit. With all the data that Arthur had input regarding any type of weaponry which he remembered from his previous life it certainly increased Ikaros' abilities. But Ikaros cannot turn into a weapon that has fantasy abilities like the Servant's Noble Phantasms in the Fate Series. Maybe if she succeeded in awaken it but maybe she could.

And this time, Arthur resurrected a second Angeloid with his [Soul Art], Nymph was Arthur's second angeloid. After she opened her eyes and looked at Arthur, she knew from her subconscious that Arthur was her creator, master, and father.

Arthur: "Happy birthday, Nymph." Arthur smiled seeing Nymph open her eyes and get up from her capsule bed.

Nymph: "Master, give your orders."

Arthur: "Nymph, system diagnosis."

Nymph: "Starting system scan… Motor system… check. Sensory system ... check. Biological structures operating normally. Power system ... check. Sound Interference system ... check. System all green, master. "

Arthur: "Ikaros can provide the database she has collected so far so that Nymph doesn't have to spend a lot of time gathering data. I also want to implant Ikaros' wings into you because it takes the Weapon-Weapon Fruit ability to make those wings capable of making you fly. " Arthur cannot do a total check while still on a ship sailing in the water.

If Arthur's Ikaros can have normal expressions different from Ikaros in the Sora no Otoshimono series, Arthur's Nymph will have different wings from Nymph in the Sora no Otoshimono series. Arthur only needed to take off Ikaros' wings in flight mode which used the power of the Weapon-Weapon Fruit and put them on Nymph's back, but Arthur asked Ikaros to change the wings from pink to blue. That way Nymph has wings that can fly and Arthur creates new wings for Ikaros. Arthur thinks it's easier than using Art-Art Fruit that's must need precise imagination.

Nymph: "The database download process is complete. So… shall I call father or master? " Nymph who had obtained the data from Ikaros, as well as Ikaros's memory, made her ask about her status.

Arthur: "It's up to you, you can make your own decisions because it's your own life. So, you already know about this world and definitely know about Devil Fruits, did you manage to have the devil fruit ability? How about the mastery of your devil fruit? " Arthur didn't care about his nickname as long as it wasn't strange but he was more curious about Nymph's devil fruit ability.

Nymph: "My radar ability is higher than Ikaros according to the data, I have no problem using it now to detect sound vibrations being transmitted through the water. Even though it is a little troublesome because of the water currents, but I can process even predict the possibility with my Processing Capability. It's similar to Kenbunshoku Haki detecting the presence and predicting movement according to the data I received. " Nymph closed her eyes and focused on her radar system.

Arthur: "What about your offensive abilities?"

Nymph: "I can shoot a sound beam of high power energy from my mouth that is strong enough to attack an opponent. And I can also isolate the voice so it doesn't get out of my target range."

Arthur was very happy because Nymph's ability with the Voice-Voice Fruit Devil Fruit was able to make her hear a lot of sounds like Kenbunshoku Haki when she focus, maybe she could hear the Voice of All Things if she could awaken it. And Nymph also can use her voice as an attack like [Paradise Song] in the original series Sora no Otoshimono and has abilities like Corazon's Calm-Calm Fruit. Nymph Processing Capability is also higher than Ikaros but her body fighting power is lower than Ikaros. Nymph managed to have the strength and capability according to Arthur's plan so that she could become a support member for ART Pirates.

Baby-5: "You can continue your experiment later because you have to eat right away, your body needs a lot of energy after using [Soul Art]. I will prepare food for all of us and you can introduce Nymph to the others. " Baby-5 interrupted their conversation because she was worried about Arthur's limp body.

Nymph: "Tch, don't disturb my conversation with master." This remark of Nymph made Arthur and Baby-5 a little surprised.

Ikaros: "Nymph, your words are not good. Father needs to eat to replace the energy he uses. Follow me to come out, I will introduce you to others. " Ikaros immediately pulled Nymph out of Arthur's Lab room.

Baby-5: "Arthur, she reminded me when you were little. When you are focus working on something you will get angry if you are disturbed. " Baby-5 smiled as she felt Arthur's shadow on Nymph.

Arthur: "Everything needs time for the process, let's go out and meet the others and I need a lot of food." Arthur, who was better than before, tried to walk out after Ikaros and Nymph.

Baby-5: "Of course. What do you think Nymph likes? "

Arthur: "Try making a cake or some sweets for dessert."

This time, they placed a table on the deck to eat as they had to stay alert during the trip to Fishman Island. They couldn't stop lowering the anchor like they did when sailing in the sea. Arthur: "I didn't expect you to meet Surume." Arthur spoke while chewing his food so that his body looked back to normal again.

Bepo: "Captain, we met octopus, not squid." Bepo denied Arthur in his high voice.

Robin: "Arthur, you can officially introduce our new member." Robin, who had finished eating, spoke while wiping her mouth with a tissue.

Arthur: "Oh yeah ... you guys must have heard it from Ikaros but I'll introduce her again. She is the second Angeloid I created, her name is Nymph, her ability is more towards support-type members with her Devil Fruit, Voice-Voice Fruit. And she is officially a member of ART Pirates. Kanpai! " Arthur officially announced Nymph status and raised his drinking glass high.

Everyone: "Kanpai!"

Even though they had raised their glasses and cheered together but their movements stopped and no one drank as they were stunned to look at Nymph. As they talked about herself, Nymph was ignorant and focus on the strawberry whole cake that Baby-5 prepared for dessert. She doesn't care about the others as long as she has strawberry cake in her hands.

Apart from Surume and Seaking, there is no other interesting thing. Maybe what they were facing was a very dangerous thing for the other Pirates but all those things didn't matter to Arthur and the others. Nymph easily mingled with the others during this trip and the members of ART Pirate also accepted Nymph happily. Apart from being cute and clever, angeloid powers should not be underestimated by ordinary humans. They happily talk until finally, they saw an island inside a large bubble and bright light that is not normal to find at a depth of 10,000 km.
