Bk2:Ch20 Argenti(pt-1)

The cart moved slowly on the road. They started early in the morning from the inn. As usual Eugene had the reigns of the horses while Edan sat in the middle and Rosa slept on the bag. It was all green field on both the sides with one or two cattle grazing on the open filed. It has been three days since they started travelling to Argenti. So far they made stops at the local village inns and one day camping on the road.

“How long is it till we reach the border wall?” Edan yawned and leaned back on the boxes.

“We will be there soon. Why don’t you take a nap like Rosa at the back?”

“How is she sleeping like that?” Edan reached over and hit her on the head.

“Get up sleepy head.” She opened her eyes got up blinked her eyes looking at the scenery in front of her.

Rosa did not retort back only yawned a bit and turned to sleep again. “I am not sleeping; I am just resting my eyes.” She yawned at the end of the sentence.
