CHAPTER 3- LENTICS

That's when,"All the students come over here now"Miss Linda said loudly.

"Angeli.. na... "But before Lesan could say anything, Angelina went to Miss Linda with the rest of the students.

"Huhh.. "Lina sighed,she quickly approached Lesan who was standing right next to Angelina.She stood right behind him.She wanted to tell Lesan everything but Angelina was standing quite near to both of them, preventing her from telling him everything.

"So students, what did you learn in today's class?"Miss Linda asked everyone.

"Ma'am,we learned that we should keep our environment clean and green"A chubby girl said.

"Correct answer Miss Paine,the class for today has ended, so you can all return to your classroom"Miss Linda said.

Every student started making their way to class.Everyone was exhausted and rushed to get into the air conditioning.After reaching the class everyone sat in their respective places.But Angelina still had not returned to the classroom.

"Where is Angelina?"Lesan asked Lina.

"How do I know, wasn't she with you?"Lina looked around the classroom and,"Lesan I have to tell you something...",Just then Angelina came inside the classroom.

"Ahh...there she is"Lesan said.

Angelina's facial expressions were a bit strange, as if she was upset about something.With her eyes fixed on the notebook in front of her, she sat calmly next to Lesan.

"You have a much better notebook"Lesan said,which was not true at all, the cover of that notebook had a picture of a buffalo which could hardly be deemed better to anywhere else;but Lesan just said this in an attempt to talk to her,to which Angelina did not respond,instead, she continued to stare unblinkingly at the notebook.

"What's so special about her notebook?"Lesan asked Lina.

"Can't you see that she is contemplating something"Lina spoke nervously while closely observing Angelina.Since there was no teacher present, the classroom was rather noisy,a boy was being bullied by Rick and his pals Tyran and Jallian, whose physically resembled gorillas.It was Merin, the weakest boy in the class, who looked very scared.Slowly lifting her head, Angelina turned to face Rick.

"He's Rick,he often irritates pupils a lot"Lesan said.

"Can't do it anymore"She rose from her seat and went up to them.Lina and Lesan were observing them.Rick had Merin's collar in his hands.

"I think you should leave him"Angelina said in a firm tone.

"And why would I leave him"Rick said, twirling Merin's collar.

"I'm telling you for the last time, leave him"

"It would be better for you to leave,I won't say it again"Without glancing at Angelina, Rick said.

"I don't like people who don't listen to me"

"Ohh.. really,Tyran just tell this girl what happens to those who don't listen to Rick"Tyran turned to face Angelina.

"Maybe she needs my help"Lesan began approaching Angelina.

"Lesan no" Lina said but Lesan ignored her words and stood between Angelina and Tyran.

"If you tried to touch her.... "However, Lesan was unable to finish his sentence because,"Get out of my way,you fool"

'𝘗𝘢𝘸' Lesan was sent to the floor after Tyran struck his cheek with a hard punch.

"Enough"Angelina said loudly.

'𝘗𝘢𝘸' Tyran is struck in the stomach by Angelina.The entire class suddenly went silent as they all turned to see Tyran, who was sobbing in agony on the floor.Rick released his hold on Merin's collar,looking at him as though he could not believe his eyes.The whole class felt the same way.

"Are you okay?"Angelina asked Lesan.

"Yea I'm,ohh.. be careful!"

"How dare you!"Jallian attempted to strike Angelina, but she quickly deflected his blow by catching his hand in the air and,

"I think you should go to your place and sit down"She said to Lesan,"And",She turned to face Jallian, who appeared to be very perplexed,"I feel like you need this"

'𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘬',She kicked Jallian hard in the face, causing him to fall to the ground and hit a bench,there was light bleeding on his lips.

"And now it's your turn"She then turned to face Rick, who was visibly terrified.

"Look.. I.. I.. "His voice was trembling.

"I don't raise my hand on the coward"

"Thanks for saving me"Merin said softly.

"You are one of many individuals I have helped along the way to greatness"She said.

"Ah... be careful!"Merin said.

"Not again"Rick was attempting to strike her from behind when she grabbed his hand,"Why don't you stop attacking people behind their backs?"She violently wrenched Rick's hand, causing Rick to scream.

Angelina grabbed up the golden pen that Rick had in his hand before it dropped to the ground and,"So you wanted to hurt me with this,Is that gold?"she looked at the pen for a while,"Fake,fake things are selling a lot these days",She put the pen on a bench and,"So if I ever catch you bugging someone again,I'll make a paste out of your bones",She then returned to her seat and sat down.Lina slid a little on the bench, she wanted to run away but after seeing Angelina like this, she could not feel her feet.Lesan also came and sat on the bench,He appeared to be trying to convince himself that this stunning girl had just fought up three lads by herself as he continued to stare at Angelina.Just then Mr. Hammenberg who was Lesan's maths teacher enters the class.

"Good morning class.... "He paused, though, and took a look at Rick, Tyrion, and Jallian, who all appeared to be exhausted.

"What happened to them?"He asked.

"Sir actually in the last class, these individuals showed an excessive concern for the environment"Lesan said.Nobody in the class objected to Lesan's lies.

"Oh.. nice,I thought these three were sitting here after being beaten up by someone.Anyways,where were we in the last class"

Shortly before the end of the class, a peon came inside the classroom, he had a yellow paper in his hand, on which the written thing either makes the students very happy or very sad.

"I wish there was some good news on this"Novo whispered.

"What's that?"Angelina asked Lesan.

"A notice"Lesan said.

"You mean a letter of information,is it still used?"

"Aaa..yes"

"What happened to her"Angelina said looking at Lina.Lina was just staring at her book very carefully.

"C'mon Lina exams are a long way off, so you don't need to worry about them right now and see a notice has arrived"Lesan said.

"The exam is are not near, but it will happen sometime or the other,and sir will read the notice, so it is not required to watch to what is being said"Lina said firmly.

"Fine"Lesan said.

Mr. Hammenberg was holding the notice and attentively reading it.Then,"Attention please"With a throat clearing, Mr. Hammenberg said,"I,your principal, Mr. Covil, would like to let you know that the Vatican has been warned to expect heavy storms and rain in the next days.All public spaces are to be closed for the upcoming two days, followed by two days of school closures, according to government directive,thank you"As soon as sir finished reading the notice, a wave of happiness spread among the students.But unlike the others, Angelina didn't enjoy this notice.

"I knew something like this would happen"She whispered.

"At least we got a break because of the storm"It was Florence, the most talkative girl in the class.

"Holidays, I think with the storm, you all need something else that can make these holidays more fun, homework" Mr. Hummenberg said.The entire class objected, but Mr. Hummenberg ignored them all and assigned the entire chapter as homework and said,"I'll check your homework in our next class,stay safe"

When Lesan peered out the window, the sky was clear and the sun was beaming, but it doesn't take long for the weather to change,because the weather also changes at the behest of someone....

In the evening two elderly women sat on a bench in the Vatican City's most beautiful park(Lentics); one of them also had a very cuddly white puppy.They were talking among themselves, but there was another woman sitting on the bench in front of them, not moving, just staring at a bag on her lap.The elderly woman's pet dog then began to bark at her, drawing the attention of the other women to her."Look, today's folks don't even leave their faces in any way; who draws stars on their faces?"One of them remarked.

"Nowadays, getting a tattoo is a requirement"Another woman remarked,"Oh..you've probably heard that there could be a really powerful storm tomorrow"The weird woman raised her head in disbelief as she heard this.

"Yes, this has never happened before.The rainy season is still far away then how is tomorrow supposed to rain?"The woman took her dog in her arms and said.

"Maybe God is warning us of doom"

"Maybe....now we must go, it's evening and Daisy has to take a bath"She said while petting her dog's head.

The two of them departed the park.That strange woman was staring up at the sky, which was filled with the sun's final, serene rays and appeared pretty lovely.However, she was now receiving warnings from her thoughts about the storm, and she was aware that the storm's creators were now on the hunt for her...
