Chapter thirteen

"Never mind. Forget my question." Owen tried to change the topic when Steven answered.

"And if I am? Are you going to avoid me?"

He can't find his voice to answer those words from Steven. Why did he asked him if he can't stand the answer? But he need someone to focus his attention to forget his feelings for Leon.

"N-No. It's alright." He said.

"Really?"

"Yeah.."

"Do you know what you're saying right now? Owen, I'm admitting the fact that I'm interested in you and you said it's okay. Do you know what's that mean for me?"

"It means, it's okay for me if you're interested in me. And also.. I'm allowing you to take me as yours from now on."

"Haha! Are you trying to use me as your scapegoat?" Steven is laughing on the other line.

"I am." Without hiding his intention, he said it. "I also want you to help me forget him. Will you help me?"

Steven remains silent for a while and he heard him sigh many times.

"Owen, if I take you mine, I can't easily let you go if you feel want to stop and want to go. So I think, it's better if we just stay more closer from now on."

Owen finally breath a sigh of relief after hearing those words from Steven. Actually, he was feeling hesitant after realizing the possible result of his careless decision. But it's great that Steven knows what really is in his mind.

"That's fine with me too." He said. "I'll go to your studio now" he continued.

"Wait for me beside my car, I will also take my absence for today."

"Sorry?"

"I said, I'll go with you.."

Owen, blinked three times before he said okay and ended the call.

He just standing there waiting until he saw Steven running in the hallway while looking at him. Owen skipped a beat for 2 seconds when he saw him smiling at him and waving his hand that is holding a phone. He didn't blink until Steven finally stopped in front of him.

"Hey, are you going to just stare at me like that until I kiss you or we have to start moving to go to my dance studio?"

When he heard it, he came back to his senses and finally blinked and turned his head to hide his blushing face.

"Let's go." Owen tried to open the door yet it hasn't unlocked by Steven.

"Pfft! Oh my God! You're so cute when you're blushing." Steven started to tease him and even pinch his check. "I feel like I wanted to own you than being close to you." He whispered in his ears.

"Enough with teasing! Just open this door.! He can't take it anymore so he shouted but not too loud.

Steven laugh while opening the door and letting Owen to get inside before he walk towards the other side of the car and get in. They got out from school campus.

Inside the classroom where Leon and Angelica left by their classmates. Angelica is trying to convince Leon to accept the recruitment from Star Agency.

" they said you like me, so why aren't you listening to me? It's for your future too!"

Leon raised his eyebrows and look at her with the hint of irritation in his eyes.

"Hey, I told my classmates that I like you so they can stop troubling me and also to stop them by keep asking me about my personal life. It is not because it is my true feelings for you. So stop assuming and stop acting like you're my girlfriend now. I hate gays, but I also hate manipulative people like you." He left her stiffened and won't be able to strike back at him.

Leon tries to look for Owen but found him standing beside Steven car while blushing in front of Steven before entering the car. What was that? What did he witness? Owen is blushing while Steven is laughing?

"You can make that kind of expression in front of others but not in front of me? Huh! Owen.. Owen.. Owen.. You're starting to irritate me. And that Steven? He's getting in my nerves!"

He went to the principal's office to give his plans for the upcoming event and also told him to excuse him for today.

"Are you going to practice basketball?" The principal asked him.

"No, but that's also one of my plans for today. I'll be back after completing the name lists of all participants."

Leon is actually planning to go to Star Agency to accept the offer and try to get his advance payment, so he can buy the big house for him and Owen as he promised him.

"Alright, You can leave " the principal approved.

"Thank you.."

After getting out, he immediately contacted the person who keeps calling him to recruit him as a model.

"I'll accept your offer but in one condition. I need my advance payment to buy my own house. Is that possible?"

The person who answered the phone became speechless after hearing those and asking himself.

"Is this what they called Karma for forcing the man to accept the offer?"

Leon is handsome, and not only that, he already popular in social media for having 1.2 millions followers on his Facebook and Instagram. Although he rarely posted his photos, and only Posted the things that Owen owned inside their house.

"Well, if you signed a contract with us. I think we can help you buy your own house for advance payment. We will also provide you your own car and bodyguards in the future." The man on the other line answered.

"Alright. Prepare a contract in one hour, I'll be there." He said.
