Currently, the Dancing Nyphm Auction had started accepting guests, however, there were not many people entering right now, after all, there was still some time before the auction started.
At the door of the auction house, a row of attendants stood there.
Mei Yue had only just arrived at the auction's door when a beautiful attendant came forward and greeted him and asked respectfully, "Guest, may I know if you or here for bidding or selling."
"Both, I mean I have something to sell. since it is very precious so please call your manager." Mei Yue thought for a while and said to the beautiful attendant; as a sinister glint entered Mei Yue's eyes.
"Guest, please follow me." The attendant's attitude became even more humble when she heard what Mei Yue said.
She led Mei Yue into the auction house and brought him to a small room.
The room has a big table in the middle of it and chairs were surrounding the table after saying something to Mei Yue about sitting and waiting, she left.
A few seconds later she returned with a middle-aged man following behind her.
That middle-aged man arrived in front of Mei Yue and sat down on a chair, then said smiling, "Guest, I am the manager of this auction house. My name is Fang Jingfei. May I know what you want to sell?"
Hearing the man a sinister smile couldn't help but creep out of Mei Yue's face, thankfully since he was wearing the Veil of Eternal Beauty it hid his facial expressions perfectly.
Without waiting still smiling sinisterly, Mei Yue simply placed a hundred Spirit Crystals on the table in between them.
Seeing the Low-Grade Spirit Crystals on the table, causing Manager Fang Jingfei's eyes to shine brightly.
"Low-Grade Spirit Crystals!" Fang Jingfei took a spirit crystal from the table and exclaimed loudly in surprise.
This was another plan Mei Yue had, a very sinister plan to utilize his first ability, devour. Since he had wealth he needed strength and what better way to kill people and devour them, for this, he had the perfect bait, spirit crystals doting on the seven sins of human nature, and the strongest one, greed. Though there was a chance this plan might and might not work either way, this was a win-win for Mei Yue.
Another reason is Spirit Crystals were just too eye-catching, he can't buy anything here using spirit stones.
So he was technically killing two birds with one stone.
"Guest, can you sell these spirit crystals to us, Dancing Nymph Auction house? We will give 10,000 gold coins according to its original price!" asked Fang Jingfei to Mei Yue looking at him with some expectation.
'Mhmmm this is an interesting development and might guarantee my plans work perfectly.' Mei Yue thought for a few more seconds before speaking.
"How bout this, we put this batch up for auction, and I'll give the Dancing Nymph Auction my remaining spirit crystals." Mei Yue countered as his smile became more demonic.
Fang Jingfei was initially disappointed but after hearing Mei Yue's counter offer hope rekindled in his heart.
"Deal!" Fang Jingfei shouted without thinking.
Mei Yue put his dainty hand up stopping Fang Jingfei.
"I have a condition, as seeing I'm giving up the rest of my supplies, it would put me at quite a disadvantage plus with your backing, a batch of spirit crystal is worth even more than market price. So I'll give you my last batch on the condition of doubling the market price to a total of 20,000 gold coins." Mei Yue said calmly.
Fang Jingfei calmed his mind as he sat down in deep thought as at some times his brows would scrunch up and down. Mei Yue's words made complete sense as with the spirit crystals being in the hands of the Dancing Nymph Auction they were worth much more than the market price, as the market price was just the base value.
At first, he tried to fool Mei Yue into selling the first batch to them as he would lose quite a lot of money, due to selling them in the auction they will sell for much more than 10,000. Though it seemed he had fallen into Mei Yue's trap instead.
"Deal." This time Fang Jingfei accepted this more calmly and professionally.
"Good." Mei Yue nodded as he brought out his seemingly 'last' batch of his spirit crystals.
Suddenly another hundred spirit crystals appeared next to the first batch.
Fang Jingfei nodded toward the attendant, prompting the girl to hand a bag to Mei Yue.
Opening the bag he counted the coins, and found all 20,000 gold coins in there.
"Then our business is done, I would like to participate in the auction obviously." Mei Yue said as he put the pouch in his 'spatial ring'.
"Of course, please take our esteemed guest to the VIP room and serve her well." Fang Jingfei directed that last part toward the attendant.
"Yes, please follow me, dear guest."
After saying this that beautiful attendant led the way to the VIP room on the second floor.
Seeing the back of Mei Yue, Fang Jingfei murmured, "Which power does this girl belong to, to take out 100 Low-Grade Spirit Crystals directly for auction, and still have 100 more."
The attendant brought Mei Yue to a room on the second floor.
The room was clean and tidy which gave a comfortable feeling. The room was vast and was more than sufficient to fit a group of ten.
Mei Yue being the only person here.
Mei Yue walked around the room and through the window in the room, he was able to see the auction platform below, which was extremely convenient.
After he sat down on the sofa, the attendant started pouring hot tea for Mei Yue, then prepared some refreshments before saying, "Guest, if you need anything, please call me. My name is Zhang Bolin and I will be standing outside the door." Saying this, she left the room and closed the door.
Seeing she was gone Mei Yue took out the space pouch they gave him and dumped 20,000 gold coins on the table in front of him before a feather appeared in his hand furthermore Mei Yue used his ice element to coat the space pouch before stabbing it.
The ice-coated feather pierced through the pouch, like butter before hurriedly putting it into the heavenly crown. Mei Yue waited a few seconds before trying to take it out only to find it didn't exist anymore, which caused Mei Yue to smile.
What Mei Yue did was destroy the spatial pouch, causing it to explode due to the space within it.
After that was done he looked at his immense wealth of gold before putting it away too.
Shifting his gaze back to the room's window, which allowed Mei Yue to see people that could be vaguely seen walking into the hall with large strides and finding a seat in the general area.
As time went by, more and more people arrived.
Before long, the hall was filled with a dense crowd of people.
"The seats in the hall are 100 silver coins each and there are approximately a thousand seats there. This Dancing Nymph Auction house is able to receive 100,000 silver coins just from the seats in the halls. And there are also those private rooms.
Just from the seats of the entire auction house, this Dancing Nymph Auction house would be able to receive money until their hands go soft." Mei Yue could not help but be astonished, even though he got into the VIP area without having to pay a cent.
In next to no time the lights in the auction hall dimmed down and the platform suddenly became lit in a warm light, as Mei Yue noticed a beautiful woman slowly walking up the auction platform.
The Auction was about to start...
"Welcome everyone to our Dancing Nyphm Auction house. I am the chief auctioneer of this auction." An innocent voice rang out and drew the attention of the hall. The curtain on the stage was slowly pulled to the side, revealing a gorgeous lady.
That lady immediately drew the attention of the crowd, excluding Mei Yue.
She appeared around twenty-five years old. Her elegant, narrow eyes and exquisite face were extremely seductive, along with the innocent aura surrounding her.
The most unnecessary thing about her was the skin-tight clothes that she was wearing. They were rather low cut, allowing people to see her pale tender skin beneath.
If that was all then it would have been fine but the most frightening thing was her deep cleavage which seemed to invite the people to reach out.
People were looking at her like she was a golden treasure, swear Mei Yue could see some guys drooling.
That woman seemed to be used to the crowd's reaction and did not seem uncomfortable at all.
Seeing this sight Mei Yue was glad he had the veil.
Suddenly she announced grandly, " I am Li Huang. I hope all of you will look after me as I have taken charge of this auction."
After saying this Li Huang gracefully curtsied slightly.
A huge uproar immediately exploded from the crowd below.
Looking at the scene, everyone was already following Lin Huang's pace. Which caused her to smile, as she waved her hand, and said, "Now, let the auction begin."
