Cove of treasures

That small mountain was in the center as twelve big mountains were surrounding it from every direction. It looked like these twelve big mountains were here just to protect the small mountain.

Arriving at the small mountains, Mei Yue saw that there were multiple caves scattered around the small mountain. Looking at each small cave he counted 12.

All the caves were covered by a light blue barrier, meaning he couldn't enter them just yet but there was one that wasn't covered by any barrier. Looking closely at the barrier he noticed they were very similar to the ones protecting the three memories inside the cauldron.

Seeing this Mei Yue sighed as he understood that if he wanted to enter other caves, he needed a different level of strength, powerful enough to break the barrier.

The light that Mei Yue saw first when he was coming toward the small mountain, was flashing out from the first cave which was without a barrier.

Since there was no barrier at the door of the first cave, Mei Yue didn't hesitate to enter it. Mei Yue entered the cave and after walking for a while his gaze landed on the walls of the cave.

Many bright stones shinned like stars in the night sky as if the sky itself were embedded in it.

Mei Yue almost fell flat on his face, as he looked at the crystals on the wall.

After taking a few deep breaths Mei Yue calmed down.

"Spirit Crystals..." Mei Yue mumbled.

Mei Yue felt as if he had just flown into a treasure cove straight from the heavens.

The cave was a spiritual vein, spiritual veins were caves that produce spirit crystals that were even more precious that gold coins.

Back when Mei Yue was Vanitas Evergarden, he read quite a bit, when one time he was roaming around his master's study he came across a book that had the description of spiritual veins and what spirit crystals were.

When he asked his master if the book was true, his master indeed confirmed the information inside the book was true.

Spirit crystals were a type of crystal that contained the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth. The power contained within this crystal could not only be absorbed by the human body.

Moreover, it was an indispensable material for refining spirit weapons and it can also be used for laying down a powerful array formation as its power source. If spirit crystals were used in setting up the array, it would also greatly increase the time and power of the array.

Spirit crystals had a wide range of uses and were of great value in the market.

From what the book said, Spirit crystals were divided into three grades: Low-Grade Spirit crystals, Middle-Grade Spirit crystals, and High-Grade Spirit crystals.

A single Low-Grade Spirit crystal was equivalent to 100 gold coins which were equal to 10,000 silver coins. On the other hand, a Middle-Grade Spirit crystal was equivalent to 1000 gold coins whereas a single High-Grade Spirit crystal was equal to 10,000 gold coins.

"Well I guess I solved the wealth problem, now I just need to solve my strength problem." Mei Yue thought.

Examining the spirit crystals carefully, Mei Yue found out that the crystals were all Low-Grade Spirit Crystals.

Even though they were only Low-Grade Spirit Crystals, there were countless of these Low-Grade Spirit Crystals in this cave.

Mei Yue extended his hand outward before a white feather appeared within his hand, though this time the tip of the feather was a bit sharper than the ones on his wings.

Using the feather Mei Yue began to dig out the spirit crystals, soon he had accumulated 5,000 spirit crystals if converted into gold coins then it would be 500,000 gold coins.

Looking at the cave once more he noticed that the ones he dug out were slowly reproducing, and there were still a lot more he hasn't taken out.

'Maybe it'll never run out.' Mei Yue thought with a smile before putting away the spirit crystals and exiting the cave.

After walking out he once again saw the 12 caves circling the small mountain and 12 big mountains surrounding that small mountain from all directions.

Looking carefully at those 12 big mountains and 12 caves in that small mountain, Mei Yue came up with the conclusion that those 12 small caves were connected to these 12 big mountains.

The vein of spirit crystals is actually inside those big mountains but the door that leads to the mines of those 12 big mountains were the 12 caves in the small mountain.

The more time Mei Yue spent here the more he realized there were so many mysterious things about the crown he still can't fully understand.

"Forget it. Maybe, in the future, I can get the answer to these questions of mine, but one thing is sure I have to hide it well. If anyone finds out about the Heavenly Crown then only one thing will be waiting for me and that thing is 'torture'." Mei Yue mumbled.

Ignoring this thought, Mei Yue looked at the other caves.

"The first cave has the mine of Low-Grade Spirit Crystals. Let's say that the second and the third cave have the vein of Middle-Grade Spirit crystals and High-Grade Spirit crystals respectively. Then exactly what is in those other nine caves leads to?" Mei Yue thought as he slightly scrunched up his brows.

"More importantly what are in the bigger caves..."

Returning to the grassland, Mei Yue crossed the river but this time he didn't use his wings but simply covered the river with ice and walked river it.

Arriving at the grassland, Mei Yue left the Crown.

Once again he found himself on the bed. Sometime later, Mei Yue came out of the room and went to the restaurant to eat and drink.

The waiter served him the dishes he had ordered. When the waiter was about to leave, Mei Yue suddenly asked "Waiter, when will the auction for the Dancing Nymph begin?"

Mei Yue asked he also gave him a silver coin.

When he was in the world inside the Heavenly Crown, he forgot the flow of time so he became confused about how much time has passed since the day he entered the world inside the Heavenly Crown.

Seeing the silver coin, the waiter's eyes lit up.

He hurriedly took the silver coin and keep it in his pocket and said "Young Miss, the auction will start in another two hours. Do you have any other questions, Young Miss?"

Mei Yue was getting tired of being mistaken for a girl, but it would even be more of a hassle to correct everyone every time.

"No, thank you." Mei Yue nodded to the waiter.

The waiter nodded back finding this woman a bit weird but simply ignored it.
