Gatcha Frenzy!
I wanted to eliminate every enemy in sight, because of that title buff that I got. But for some reason my hand tingled, and my heart raced.
I looked at my trembling hand and how my heart ached. This was the moment I'd been waiting for.
This is it!
The time has come! This was the sign from heaven!
I opened the system and navigated to the weapon and skill banner. It was the perfect time to start summoning!
I swear, if this turned out to be a false sign, I'd go on a rampage, taking down every monster in my path. But for now, let's begin the gacha!
[Do you want to use two of your skill passes?]
"Yes!" I eagerly responded.
The card animation played, and to my amazement, the card was a dazzling rainbow and blue!
"What? A rainbow card! Is this an SSR skill!?" I exclaimed, capturing the attention of my party.
"Ohhh, congratulations, mister," Jayden cheered, clapping his hands. I wanted to protest his use of "mister," but I was too excited to bother.
"Wait, a rainbow card? Is that even a thing?" Matthias asked as he approached me, peering at my screen.

"WHAT THE HELL, IT'S A SSS SKILL!" I yelled in excitement, leaping to my feet and jumping for joy. This was it! Finally, some good luck!
Lady Luck has finally smiled upon me!
I was jolted by the system's sound, announcing my achievement.

[SSS skill is a unique ability granted to only one person. That means no other player can possess the same skill.]
Damn! Having a skill that's exclusive to only one player? How cool is that!
"What!? How did you get that? No way, I'm summoning right now!" Matthias exclaimed, rushing to his skill banner.
Jayden and Gideon watched our ecstatic reactions, amused by our enthusiasm.
And then, the second skill card arrived:

I was a bit disappointed with the rarity, but the flying skill was fantastic! I could finally save myself from accidental falls like the one a couple of hours ago.
But why the heck didn't I get any skills related to my weapon? Seriously? Summoning skills should be for mages.
This system was fucked up!
As for the SSS skill, it was tricky because there was no way I could remember every fictional character or even human being.
Darn it! I should pay more attention to the lore of the game and anime, instead of just playing it blindly or enjoying the naked woman in those harem anime.
For now, let's summon a character from an anime I've watched. He's called One Strike, and he could take down an enemy with a single strike.
He was incredibly powerful!
"Summoning, One Strike," I said to the system.
[Are you sure you want to summon this character? Lack of information about the character can make him defective.]
Well, this was just an experiment anyway. Whoever I summoned didn't matter.
"Yes," I confirmed.
A magic circle formed in front of me, and the character materialized. He had long black hair and wore a hero costume with a red cape.
Holy crap! He looked exactly as I remembered, although there were several missing details in his attire and his face was not symmetrical.
Gideon and Jayden both moved closer to examine my summoned character, a look of wonder in their eyes.
"So, this is an SSS skill? Interesting," Gideon said, rubbing his chin as he scrutinized all the character's details.
"Wow! It looks just like a character from an anime I watched once!" Jayden exclaimed, his eyes filled with excitement.
They were both engrossed in studying the character until suddenly, a voice interrupted their concentration.
"WHAT!? HOW COME ALL MY GACHA ROLLS ARE SSR ONLY?" Matthias yelled, startling me and annoying me at the same time.
Two SSR cards in one spin? That was insane!
"Man, I hope I'm as lucky as you," Matthias said, sounding disappointed.
Good Lord, I wanted to punch him right then and there. He acted as if he was never grateful for what he got, and it irked me.
"SSR is really good, Matthias. My first weapon and skill were both SSR," Gideon reassured him, munching on a piece of bread that appeared out of nowhere.
"Yeah, I got an SSR weapon and an SSS skill too!" Jayden chimed in.
Holly fuck, was I the only one with average luck? Seriously? Everyone on my team got two SSRs, and even SSS skills and weapons in one spin?!
If I could reroll the game, I'd do it in a heartbeat to get the skills and weapons I wanted.
I sighed and told them, "Well, I'll go hunting for a while then." I turned around and waved my hand.
I needed to eliminate as many monsters as possible before the passive skill from my new title expired. This was also the ideal moment to test my character-summoning skill.
Plus, it allowed me to avoid hearing whatever annoying comment Matthias was about to make.
"You don't have 10,000 skill points yet?" Gideon asked.
"No, I'm at 9,200 skill points now. Have you guys already collected 10,000 points?" I replied, turning back to face him.
"Of course! I'm the best mage here! It's not that hard to collect 10,000 points!" Matthias boasted proudly.
Jayden and Gideon nodded in agreement. Darn it, why was I the only one who hadn't met the requirement yet? What was wrong with my luck?
"Stay motivated, Seth. We'll be here waiting for you," Gideon encouraged me.
"Oh, I forgot we never had a formal introduction. My name is Gideon Lambridge," he said approaching me. He then extended his hand for a handshake.
"I'm Seth, just Seth," I replied and shook his hand.
"Ah, me too. My name is Jayden Laurent. Nice to meet you, mister," Jayden said, approaching us.
I smiled and said, "Please don't call me 'mister.' Just call me by my name."
Was I really that old to be called "mister"?
"Thank you for letting me join your party," Jayden said with a touch of shyness.
What? Who approved him as a party member?
Then someone tapped my shoulder. "I'm the one who added him to our party," Matthias said.
"You might remember me from our high school days. We were in the same class, after all. But let's start anew. I'm Matthias William. I hope you're up for sticking together as a team even after this game," he said with a confident grin.
I just sighed, remembering all the traumas and frustrations I'd experienced with him. But as long as my party was strong, I couldn't complain.
"Do you still want to go hunting, Seth? Let's do it together. I've got this urge to move and take down every monster in my path," Gideon suggested, his excitement showing as his muscles bulked up and he summoned his Claymore.
"Yeah, why don't we go together? I've got the itch to wreak havoc and take out everything that crosses my path," Matthias added with even more enthusiasm.
Jayden simply nodded enthusiastically. It was clear that they were all fired up.
This... It had to be because of that title!
