Krel- "What was what? Are you ok?" She looks around the room.

Shi- "Yeah, I was just surprised by a… thought?" I close my eyes and smile weakly.

"I'm going out now, it seems like they gave up on looking for me." I start walking towards the door and wave goodbye.

Krel- "Wait, I'll take you to where you can get some clothes." I stop.

Shi- "Well? Are we going or what?" I take a few more steps but freeze when I see a patrolman. I turn around slowly so I can go back inside but I run into Krel, we both fall down which attracts the attention of the guy.

He aims his gun at us, so I stand in front of Krel to protect her. I close my eyes and wait. To my surprise he lowers his weapon and continues his round. I just stand there confused.

"W-what just happened?" Krel stands back up.

Krel- "Well, it seems that he wasn't aware of what you did." She drops a heavy sigh.

"I really thought that we were both dead there for a moment, Thanks for trying to protect me I suppose." She brushes dust off of her pants.

Shi- "Phew, I guess I got lucky. Where are we going from here?" 

Krel- "Well, we've got to go across the city. We should be able to get there in a few days." I click my tongue and nod.

Shi- "Fine, but you have to tell me if your town will be willing to accept someone with my lack of... What would I call it... status?" A blue screen pops up, and this time it has something new.

Krel- "It's alright, my town is a little small."

Shi- "Heh, yeah… Innocence! What does that mean!?" She looks at me with a strange expression.

Krel- "I'm pretty sure that it means-" I cut her off.

Shi- "I know what it means, I was just confused on why… Do you think that I'm 'Innocent'?"

Krel- "Yeah! Like a baby puppy!" I'm sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult, prompting me to click my tongue and sigh.

Shi- "Whatever, where do we go?" Krel pulls out a paper and draws the borders of the city, She draws an X for where we are, and then draws a circle for where the base is. I follow the distance and realize that it IS an entire city away. The status menu is still visible, so I swipe at it and it goes away.

Krel- "We have a long way to go, do you need anything from here?" she crumples up her 'map' and throws it on the floor. 

Shi- "Give me a moment, could I try something alone for a little bit?" She nods her head and walks out of the building.

"Alright, time for me to see what kind of 'thing' this is." I breathe in and exhale.

Shi- "I wonder, does everyone have one of these?" I just speak this out to nobody in particular, not expecting any answer.

Shi- "Huh... ok." I press the 'on' button on the 'show HUD' option. A little white bar pops up in the corner of my vision, it shows my level, name, HP, stamina bar, Mana bar under the stamina, and the percent in the middle of the bars. I also press the 'male' button on the 'Physical form' option. What is apparently a male appears in front of me. (Keep in mind that the MC doesn't really understand genders right now, he just woke up.)

System?- "Hello master." A glowing blue guy says as he stands at attention.

Shi- "Uh, you don't have to be so tense." He shakes his head.

System?- "I have to show proper form in front of master."

Shi- "Well, just call me Shi… can anyone else see you in this state?" He shakes his head once more.

System- "Not unless Mas- Shi commands it so." A sigh escapes my lips.

Shi- "Well, it'd probably be best if you hid for now." He nods in agreement.

System- "Understood!" We sat there in an awkward silence for a moment.

"Does master have any questions that he would like to ask me?" This spontaneous question causes me to pause and think for a moment.
