Chapter 2: Moonlight Academy

Academies, schools created after the war with the krillians came to a standstill to help train the next generation who will take the fight to the krillians. Students who graduate from academies end up becoming legends.

"Just get in already you prick" The man said as he looked at Aria with an annoyed expression.

'this guy' Aria thought as a visible vein popped on his head before he then walked towards the school gates.

"Hey kid, take this" The man said as he tossed a transparent card to Aria." Show the guard at the gate and he will show you the way to the exam hall.

"Aria stared at the card and he could see basic information like his name, age and specialty. 'every information is filled in except specialty huh!' he then looked at the man's back as he walked toward his car before turning and heading towards the school gates.

Upon reaching the school gates, he saw a woman standing at the school gate wearing the same army uniform that he saw the other man wearing. Written on the top left side of the army top was officer Anna and directly below it written boldly. "Knight"

"hmmmm! Based on then Id your holding you're here for the entrance exam right" Anna said as she looked at Aria as if trying to read him.

"Yes I am" Aria said coldly, his eyes glowing with intensity.

"Then follow me"She then proceeded to open the gates with the click of a button, and what he saw had him amazed. The inside of the school was extremely large with each building built out of the finest and strongest metal ore in the world, it had glass coverings in a few parts as well. The floors and the entire environment was clean and no speck of dust could be found. Compared to how the outside looked, it felt as if he entered a portal to the future when he stepped inside.

"Hello! Are you still with me" Anna shouted as she waved her hands in front of him as he was clearly lost I thought. Waking you from his thoughts he then stared at her with an annoyed expression weirdly.

"Yes goddammit! Are you trying to pop my ear drums?"

"Whatever, just keep following me, if not you might end up getting lost" She then immediately turned before walking away with John following closely behind. They ended up reaching a large hall at an excluded part of the school after walking for over 30 minutes. He could see other applicants gathered in front of the hall as well. Everyone was dressed in expensive since they were all from rich families, they each all had expensive equipment's as well. For example the girl at the front of the crowd that all the male seemed to have their eye on.

"Join the rest of the students, an instructor will fill you in on further instructions"

"Sure, thanks anyway" Aria replied with an indifferent expression.

"Whatever, just make sure you get in that's the thanks I want" She said as she walked away while yawning.

'Of course I will make it in' he thought as a smile crawled its way unto his face as he joined the crowd. While walking through the crowd, he kept receiving disgusted and annoyed looks from the other applicants.

"hey who let this plebian in here!"

"look at his clothes! Hahahahaha"

"what a sad existence"

Aria was used to this kind of reaction from people, so he just found an empty bench and sat down there while yawning." Damn I need a nap" with that he closed his eyes.

"Okay everyone! Shut the f**k up" A domineering voice said as a middle aged an man came out from the doors of the hall. He had sharp features and an attractive face with a scar on his left eye. But what made him stand out was the fact that he was….bald! He had the domineering aura of a king when he stood at the front of the doors.

"You all can call me Sergeant Harrison during your time here! We will be holding a simple entrance exam of three phases. First, we will start off with a simple strength test before moving unto the speed test and last but not least we will test your overall combat experience". He said as he glanced at all the applicants In front of him before continuing.

"In this academy, you all will start of as trainees, the lowest of the low. You will all have six years to graduate but to do that you will have to meet this special conditions. First off, you will have to reach lieutenant rank to be able to graduate. To be able to move up the ranks, you will have to get army points which can be awarded after completing assignments or special missions. The ranks are separated into eleven, they are; Trainee, cadet, corporal, officer, lieutenant, sergeant, commissioner, general, supreme general, commander and supreme commander. To go from trainee to cadet, you will need a sum of 5000 army points, from cadet to corporal is 25000, from corporal to officer is 50000 points, from officer to lieutenant is 100000 points and so on, I trust you can all do math's to find out the rest.

"The second condition is to be at least a king tier specialist. Now I trust you all know the different tiers but I will still list them anyway…"

'Ugh! This guy should just go on with the test already, so boring' Aria thought as he yawned while still seating on the bench.

"…novice is the lowest, then Apprentice, Specialist, knight, king, emperor, Master, Grandmaster, Hero, Legend, Paragon, and Archon. So as is said before you are all going to take this entrance exam so follow me into the hall?" He then walked into the hall with applicants following closely behind him. Aria also stood up and joined the rest of the applicants. In the hall there was a large stage in the front with a large metallic machine on top of it. There were also cameras found round the hall since this is usually broadcasted live. Harrison then made his way onto the stage before staring at the students and shouting in a loud voice
