I wondered out into the woods to contemplate life, or lack there of

I found a body in the pond

Their eyes were cold and sad

I asked myself

Is this me?

Is this all that is left in this cruel existence.

A body

Floating in the dark

So I took a seat

The world went cold

Silence is all that exists

Peace, at last

They never found my body

By the time they decided to look

I was long gone

Belly up under this oak

I dream peacefully

Because secrets are best shared, with the ones you love
