Chapter-11 Because This Is My First...
Around midnight, I walked out of my house from my bedroom window, why I did do that? Well-to-do the hero work, obviously.
Yesterday while I was coming back from Gotham, I bought a walkie-talkie from the shop, and after customizing it via max, it can now get the near police radio wave.
After jogging around the area, a sound came out of the walkie-talkie, it was reported as an ongoing robbery near the jewelry store.
After hearing that, I ran in that direction at full speed after I equipped my hero suit.
'I really need a suitable ride for the long distance but for the short, I can use my leg but still, I am no flash'
While running for a few minutes, I arrived near the ongoing crime scene, there I saw one police car with two police officers on it. They were inspecting if they need backup or not.
While they were waiting for the backup, I walk into the alleyway of that store and used a backdoor, which was locked by the way I had to use some shuttle lock picking to open it and enter inside.
After going inside through my adaptable sense, I saw everything even if it was dark, what I saw was two guys wearing Halloween masks, carrying a gun in their hands standing near the front door.
Through careful observation on my side, I saw they were both inexperienced and scared and anyone can start firing guns at the cops, so I had to arrest them quickly and swiftly.
Slowly, I walked toward them, and soon I got near one criminal who was a little back than the other guys.
After hearing some wind moving, he turned around and saw me, but before he could call the other, I jabbed my hand toward his vocal cord making him unable to talk for a few minutes, and after the jab, I punched his chin knocking him down.
After that guy's fall, I gently put him down and—
"Jay, I think backup is coming, we should --- hey you aren't jay, where is he?" After turning around, he saw me and started panicking and aimed his gun at me.
"Hey, calm down, I am not going to hurt y--- *Bang* AH, this shit hurt *Bang* Ah, thank got this suit is bulletproof but—it's still painful, You didn't...your goanna pay"
After panicking, he shot toward me two more times, and before he could for the third time, I ran toward him and strike him with the knee on his stomach.
"Ugh, AH"
He bent down a little from my kick, and soon I did an uppercut in his chin, and instantly he was KO.
'I should get out of here, outside police might have heard the gunshot, but first I should tie them down.'
I carry them both near together, tear their shirt and made a makeshift rope and tie them together, after doing that I ran out from the same place I got inside.
The moment I got out, I heard police breaking a glass window and coming inside.
'*Phew*, that was something for the first time, I need to be careful the next time,'
After completing the task, I went inside some allay way to change back into my casual clothes, then suddenly.
*Swish* *Blur* *Swish*
And immediately, my every sense became fully active,
'I saw a blur of red and yellow, I smelled a perfume probably a male also probably around my age group, I heard laughing, a Male probably a teen through his vocal cord, my danger sense did not alert me then probably not a villain or anyone trying to hurt me,'
I looked left and right, I used my senses to the maximum, then suddenly I heard,
[Sir, Host acquired Heat vision and X-ray vision]
'I see them, two people, teen? Probably, let's think who it could be, not flash, if he was, I wouldn't have been able to detect him, a teen, who has super speed like flash then it could only be the infamous flash sidekick or protégé, Kid Flash but whom could another person be'
I am thinking, and suddenly it hit me like a brick toward the window.
'Same height, the same posture, although wearing a civilian ninja costume in all black that could only be Robin, The Batman's Protégé,'
After figuring out who they are and will they hurt me or not, I moved from there without changing cloth in my hero costume, I walked toward some abandoned building.
After reaching inside, I waited for them to follow me inside and after confirming with the heat vision, I turned around and confront them.
"I already know you are here, no need to hide from me," I said with a smile on my face.
"Still not coming out, well if you still don't believe then what can I say, right, Kid Flash, Robin" this time I had a smirk instead of a smile on my face.
"Dude, he caught us, I thought we were being secretive" A guy in a yellow hoodie came out from hiding, while complaining to the other person.
"Well, not bad for a rookie, but how did you know it was us?" Other guys also came out from hiding, looking at me while questioning me.
"Well, it is a trade secure but if you tell me why you were following me then I might just tell you"
"You don't think we will just te--" "We were just checking if you were suitable to join our team or not, ok now tell me how you found us and knew who we were?" Kid Flash just blurted out, and Robin had a most awkward pause in history. It was funny seeing heroes being silly sometimes.
"Well, I did not think it was ---, anyway deal is a deal, then I will tell you, it all thanks to my meta power which help me accelerate my sense to the maximum, through my eyes I could see a blur of yellow and red, my hearing picked up you two talking, my sense of smell picked up you two and also through simple deduction and here we are having this conversation"
After hearing my answer, both robin, who came out of this awkward pause, and kid flash started contemplating.
"So, I said the answer, and my turn to the question, the thing you came here to do, what's the result of it? Isn't it yes or no" I was really expecting the answer, a Hero team, it sounds cool like the justice league but a Little younger like a young justice league or something.
"I cannot say for sure, so I need a test to perform," Robin answered
"How about a little friendly duel for a test, what do you say, guys? Robin VS this New Guys" Kid flash suggested.
"Well, I don't mind, but the name is not a new guy, it's Red X" I replied and equally excited and nervous about it.
"Ok then, New guy, Robin vs Red X" Kid flash, again announcing the duel.
"Let me think. Uh-uh Ugh, ok then a little friendly duel," Robin also replied after a few seconds of thinking.
