Another Tale: Osborn

The word or concept of transmigration is somewhat common to some and completely unknown to others. For some people it could be an opportunity they would not pass up. One not so common person has that opportunity and ended up in a completely unknown Marvel universe, however, when he woke up, he was not in the body of one of the heroes he knew or even a random person. He transmigrated into the body of one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Norman Osborn the Green Goblin. Will he become a hero who fights for good or will he be a villain who seeks to conquer everything in his path, or will he walk in a fine line between the two, not a villain but no a hero either? His story in Marvel is just about to begin. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read. I warn from the beginning so that there is no misunderstanding with that fact.

Two days after the talk with Fisk, Norman was in the family dining room currently having a meal with Mary Jane and Harry, Osborn had to admit that this was becoming very common between them.

Mainly because Harry asked for it and due to it not being something too unreasonable both adults accepted his request, so the meal between three people was a very usual sight to see at Osborn Manor.

A new detail that the older Osborn had with him was an ordinary wooden cane, but it had the function of hiding the blade he had received from Ducard.

At first, he thought of melting the metal and creating a new sword, but, no matter what temperature he reached it was simply impossible to melt, at which point Norman realized that Ducard could have given him a really good weapon.

In the end he only ended up making the cane that would hide the blade of the sword while the handle would not have to change function.

After all it was very difficult to conceal a blade in plain sight and while he could keep it with him at home and at the Osborn Corporation it was much more difficult to conceal it when he had to make appearances in public places, so that matter was solved.

Stopping to think about that Norman began to speak: "Harry, I will be busy with a project of the Corporation, so it might be impossible for me to come to the Manor and spend time with you" with his words he gained the complete attention of the little boy and Mary Jane, although the last one had already been warned of that fact.

"I understand" mentioned the little boy somewhat downcast, since the relationship with his father would have improved he had started to show more emotions in front of Norman, something that certainly pleased the older man.

"However, you will have Miss Watson and Bernard, plus while I won't be able to come to the manor, I'm sure I can have a little call with you, just tell one of the two to help you make the call" added the Osborn, as he actually believed he could make a little time to at least talk a little with his son.

Harry only brought his gaze to the redhead who only nodded in response knowing well what the little boy wanted to know, with that confirmation Harry's happiness returned once again and as usual the harmonious conversation between the three people began to be heard in the dining room.

The conversation and laughter of the three people was overheard by an older man in a butler's suit as a soft smile graced his face.

After a few seconds he began to walk with one direction in mind, he carried a group of flowers in his hands, all of them colorful and vivid.

Soon he arrived at an area somewhat away from the main rooms of the Manor with a calm step he entered inside a reddish colored door.

Several paintings and dresses were soon what entered her line of sight, the most outstanding things in the room would be two items, the first was a completely white dress with gold trimmings, a classic wedding dress and by the way it was made you could see that the person who wore it liked simplicity.

The second most prominent thing was a painting in the middle of the wall showing a young woman with brown hair, the painting gave a feeling of affection and love which gave an indication of the love the artist had intended for the painting.

"Mrs. Emily, I'm sorry for the delay in changing your flowers" Bernard suddenly commented, however, there was no response as one might expect.

"Also I apologize for the fact that Mr. Osborn has not been able to come to see you, it's just that he has been very busy taking care of the company and little Harry" he continued speaking as he walked around the room and began to replace the wilted flowers with new ones.

"Speaking of little Harry, he is happier than ever" he commented enthusiastically, "Since Mr. Osborn woke up from his accident he has changed for the better, he is trying his hardest to be a good father and if I may say, so he is going in a very good way" he continued with a smile.

"Also the addition of Miss Watson brings a little joy to this Mansion, I must admit that more than once I have thought that she is very similar to you, both are cheerful, simple, humble and are able to bring happiness to other people's lives" Bernard was a little sincere as he looked at Emily's picture after he had finished changing the flowers.

A small beep sounded in the silent room and Bernard quickly looked at his watch and stopped the alarm he had set on it, he took the wilted flowers in his hands and proceeded to walk towards the door: "I will come in a week to continue our conversation, have a good rest Madam" with those words said, he left the room to continue his work.

Norman was currently about to test the Connors Formula on Dr. Curtis, several of the medical board members were present.

Norman was in a room that had only Dr. Curtis in it along with some medical equipment, the other people were outside the room and could only see them through glass.

At first the medical board thought about calling the media, but they were quickly rebuffed mercilessly by Norman.

Even now he didn't really know what would happen once the serum was injected into Connors, however, he had made various plans in case the worst possible scenario would happen, but hoped they wouldn't be necessary.

"So Dr. Connors tell me how are you feeling?" asked Norman in an attempt at small talk with his partner.

Curtis just looked at all the monitoring instruments that were attached to his body and looked at Osborn, "I won't lie to you Sir, I'm a little nervous, plus it doesn't help that most of the medical board members look at me like I'm a toy" he mentioned honestly, not finding a reason to act tough.

Norman just smiled a little at the Doctor's statement, "Yes, they are a bit of a problem" he agreed with him.

"Remember that you will feel some pain due to the sudden growth of the limb, although you will probably faint before that" Osborn mentioned to him as he pulled out some sort of automatic syringe that was filled with a greenish liquid.

"Last chance" Norman told him before he injected the serum, "If you regret this say so now, and we'll just look for a new subject" he commented calmly.

Curtis shook his head implying his answer, Norman gave a small sigh and proceeded to inject the serum into Curtis' arm and began to step back.

Soon Connors began to move irregularly on the bed he lay on, but unlike what could be seen the medical equipment showed nothing irregular except for an increased heartbeat.

Norman only tightened his grip on his cane a little, as he watched the doctors look curiously at Connors condition, on the other hand Gwen looked about to go into a panic attack as she watched her mentor's condition.

Curtis soon stopped moving almost as if his energy had been completely depleted, yet the heartbeat was still there.

"The serum needs time to be able to rebuild the lost limb, the more important or larger it is the more time it would require before it would grow" he commented as soon as he left, as it was certain that it would be the first thing they would ask him.

"In the case of an arm you will have to wait around 5-6 hours before it grows completely" he added, this had been done intentionally so that it would be useless in combat, plus even if they had a sample of the serum it would be almost impossible for them to modify it, it had taken a lot of work for Osborn to create a self-destruct mechanism, and he hoped it would be enough so that no one would be able to modify Connors Formula.

After Osborn's announcement most of the doctors on the board began to leave the room except for two who were attentive to Connors' condition.

Norman approached the glass through which Gwen was watching her mentor with concern, he understood the young woman's feelings, but there was nothing he could do, the decision belonged to Curtis: "Will he be all right?" asked the blonde as she felt Norman position himself next to her.

" He will be" answered the man, if it was because he really believed it or he just wanted to calm the woman no one knew.

In that way both people stayed looking at their partner, one next to the other and neither had the intention of leaving until Curtis woke up.

Can someone tell me if the way to write the surnames is correct now? Because now instead of The Osborn I just put Osborn because it was pointed out to me that that is how it should be.
